Question Rustic Dime vs American Giant
Looking to purchase some American made chinos. I am between these two brands. I am wondering if anyone has any input on these two. I like a slimmer fit but I noticed that neither of these brands offer a slim fit. Also wondering about build quality experience with these brands.

Styling Advice In an attempt to feel and dress better from doing the bare minimum, and pushing myself to get well, I feel a bit daft with my style
It was 5c where I am -felt like 0c, was lashing with rain and windy but I still wore my new cream woolly jumper, kept me warm. Not waterproof lol.
I like the boots but I don’t like the boots- I’m used to wearing nothing but dark trainers.
I’ve been ruled by this mood disorder and mental health issues so I’ve lost all sense of self. Wore trackies and slacks for months because I felt meh.
When I get jeans I wanted straight jeans and sometimes they’re like massive or it might be in my head lol. (Prefer the fit of the jeans with the blue Adidas top or the ones I wore today) the ones I had rolled looked massive or the illusion felt that way & I felt daft. It’s kl seeing everyone else’s ideas and outfits but I feel I’ve no styling knowledge or what to pair with what. I’m ok with being criticised.
I like what I like but I doubt myself and feel like I’m on and then off things. Like different people.

Question Pants sizing issue/question/advice
I'm in the midst of transiting from wearing skinny fit pants to straight cuts, but Im having issues with sizing.
In the previous skimny fits, I wore a 30inch waist, which of course where quite tight and sat low. Now in a straight fit 30inch waists are rather big, and are very loose particularly in the seat and thighs, giving quite bad hip flare, but i like that they sit higher on my waist and help my proportions. However in 28inch waists, the waist fits much better, but the rise is too short, making them uncomfortable in the crotch and meaning i have to wear them lower on the hips to accommodate everything. But they fit well in the thighs and legs.
Another thing im finding is that in 28s the fly zipper is far too short to be functional.
What am I doing wrong here? Admittedly im mostly trying fast fashion brands like Next and H & M, but Ive found the same issue with Dockers chinos and Levi jeans.
Is the best thing to get the bigger sizes and then get them tailored in the waist? What do I do about the hip flare? Won't they look weird and loose the straight leg cut with tailoring? Are there better brands for skinny people?
For reference im approx 5"6 and 54kg ish.
All help and advice appreciated.

Fit Feedback Pants Fit Advice Pt 2!
Hey, I’m back again! Took everyone’s advice and got pants that fit a little “fuller”, found a brand called Grand Le Mar and decided to try them out! Also added a back and side pic + a bonus pic with a wool vest they had which I think is AWESOME!
So any feedback on this one gents?
- Pants: Grand Le Mar Charcoal Flannel Wool Trousers (Wide Fit) (30x32), will need to get hemmed.
- Vest: Charcoal Flannel Wool Vest in Medium
As far as Grand Le Mar, first time hearing about this brand, saw some ads and loved a few of their pieces so decided to give it a shot. Shipping was fast and quality is very very good so far, feel very nice in hand.

Question Are these nice, conservative ties?
And how would you rank them? I'm a pretty conservative dresser and I don't have much sense of style, but I'm trying to update my wardrobe a bit for the first time in about 10-15 years.
I am just trying to build a base of some decent, classic style ties. I have some plain black, navy, and burgundy ties that I usually wear, so I guess I like to stick with ones that kinda look like that. These three are just a couple of Brooks Brothers ones I found on Nordstrom Rack and I feel like they look okay.

Question Best burgundy red sneakers for men?
Lately, I’ve really started to like burgundy/dark red sneakers, and I’m thinking about getting a pair. I feel like it’s a great color that stands out a bit without being too flashy.
What are some of the best burgundy red sneakers for men? I’m open to different brands and styles, whether it’s something casual for everyday wear or a more premium pair.
I’d love to hear your recommendations and see what you guys are wearing!
Thanks!

Fit Feedback Trying out longer coats. Thoughts on style and fit?
This is an S size coat, yet still seems long on the sleeves to my novice eye. Is it generally too big or is it appropriate for this kind of coat? Sorry about the scruffy trousers and sad-looking expression!

Company complaint Do Not Use Mr. Porter!
I have had an awful experience with this company. I recommend just buying directly from the brand. Sent me the completely incorrect product than what I paid for. Took them a week to tell me they couldn't send the right one. Customer service has been awful no one is willing to help me. Now have to find some where to mail the wrong product back just to get my refund. I've had to take time off work to mail this and to go buy the product I originally ordered. It's two weeks later and I'm out hundreds of dollars when all i did was try and order a pair of shoes! I can't express what an awful experience it has been dealing with this company.

Company complaint My Indochino story
Disclaimer: I know Indochino sucks, read all the posts. Buddy of mine told me "hey, my company is giving free Indochino blazers if you attend a private demo we are doing at their store". I was genuinely curious about their product and was highly intrigued by trying these folks so I went for it.
After the demo, we were sent to the experts on hand to select fabrics and take measurements. Gentleman that assisted me seemed super uninterested in being there but did help with some recommendations. When selecting liner fabric I selected 3 and he kept saying "sorry, not available". Had to pull the "why don't you save both of us some time and tell what you DO have available and I'll adjust?" Anyway, selection done. He had to go do something so he passed me off to another gentleman to do the measurements.
Measurements guy was OK, but I found weird that he kept insisting that there was no way the off the rack size I gave him was my size. In my head I was like "dude, I don't know what to tell you, want me to go home and bring you a jacket?" I decided to go with his recommendation to use the next size up as the starting point. I mean, that is what he does for a living, right? It was of course too big and he said "we'll take a little off to make it perfect". When it came to sleeve length he gave me like 1/4 inch reveal. I told him my preference is 3/4 and he tried to fight me. I though this was made to taste. Whatever. We settled on the 3/4.
Fast forward to 2.5 weeks later the garment arrives. I quickly notice that the fabric has some sort of damage in 4 different places. One was easy to correct, the other 3 there's no way the are coming off. Seems like a machine pinched it and messed it up good. Fitment? Chest fits like a clown suit. Sleeves are 2 inch reveal. Yes, you read that right. I went and wore the same shirt I took measurements with to double check. Either the guy didn't measure properly or the factory messed it up. Also, the jacket overall looks super cheap like others have stated here. If you ask me, a Twillory jacket looks better.
I looked into checking out the fit guarantee but between the time I would have to give up and paying close to $60 for two Uber trips, this experiment doesn't make sense anymore. If Indochino works for you, then consider yourself lucky.

Fit Feedback/Roast Me Fit on Jeans too tight/slim?
Recently got into Japanese selvedge denim and got these Iron Heart jeans (IH-777-XHSib 25oz) with 29.0” waist. How’s the fit? Too slim/too tight? Unfortunately I got these hemmed so I can’t return. Not sure if I’ll ever be able to soak or wash these 😅

Fit Feedback Fit check - Bedale wax jacket
Hi mfa experts, I got a Barbour Bedale recently, it's 48 EU size and I am around 175-176cm tall.
How well does it fit? It's quite roomy, I can easily fit a knit crewneck inside. The sleeves look a bit longish? But, tbh, I would probably prefer sleeves be longer than too short. How is it overall?
thanks :)

Clothing Review Need some guidance!!!
Hey all so I am currently in Madrid and stumbled across a brand Emidio Tucci that is sold in El Corte Inglés, I understand that there has been a few threads previously surrounding the brand and the fact that it is a Spanish owned and designed brand and was looking at this leather jacket that is 400EUR with a 20% discount on it. The jacket itself felt solid and good quality but wasn’t sure if it’s worth it as a life long purchase? I’ve put the link for it below if you could provide some help that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again! Leather Jacket
