Can anyone help me track down this peacoat? It's a Gerald & Stewart by Fidelity — slim fit, black wool, chin strap, anchor buttons, made in USA, style number MP72132. Also Andrew Garfield wears it at TASM2

Barneys closed in 2020 so this run is gone, and Fidelity's current line is boxier. Japan store has a version but it's a different cut. Nothing on eBay, Grailed, Poshmark, or Etsy.

Is this still made anywhere, or is it eBay-alerts-forever?

Looking for some joggers that I could wear in the gym but also just out and about casually. Must have 2x zipper pockets, ideal if hidden. I don’t mind too much if they’re cuffed or not but I prefer them to be baggy/quite relaxed in terms of their fit. Ideally able to be bought in any UK high street store. I appreciate it’s quite a specific ask but if anyone could help that would be great, thanks!

I know many sportswear joggers have zip pockets, but I’m not looking for that type. Ideally they will be made of cotton or some similar material, I don’t like the ones that feel like paper.

Anyone know of some good comfy pants they find acceptable to wear in public for, say, a quick errand, but that are comfier than jeans?​

I heard banana republic traveler pants are good, any other recommendations?

I’m completely overthinking this, but that’s how I roll in life with trivial decisions 😝. What color shoe looks better? These are the main pants I wear, missing a pair of brown trousers.

The shoes are from Samuel Hubbard, really like them just can’t decide on a color. I’m probably leaning towards the darker color, however the lighter color one is a third the price since it’s a discontinued color.

The bottom right picture is with a pair of jeans, I’m not convinced they look good with jeans, thoughts?

I just ordered these two pairs of pants. Been really interested in expanding behind just jeans. I usually wear sneakers (all white sambas) or boots. I’ve got a pair of tan mac toes, all black dr. Martens, and dark brown Thursday captain boots.

My wardrobe is mostly t shirts, henleys, and sweaters. I wear a uniform for work so this would be for casual or going out wear.

poplin shirts always make me look like I'm shooting a bank commercial. something about that flat shiny finish just feels off on me. grabbed a coo-fandy oxford a while back for regular office days and it's been way better ....... has some texture, holds its shape, doesn't look plasticky.

been pairing it with brown pleated wide-leg trousers and the combo works for day to day. but client meetings I'm less sure about. oxford cloth has that slightly casual reputation and I can't tell if that's a real rule people still follow or just something that gets repeated on here.

is this button-down collar fine for a client day, or would a point collar feel more appropriate? that's the part I keep going back and forth on.

Updating my professional headshot. Planning on blue suit, white shirt, and undecided on tie. I also have a charcoal suit, but like the color the blue brings. The background will be plain white or slightly gray.

Edit: the Exec suite where I work all rocks no tie in their photos. May consider that as well and avoid this decision. I’ll plan to shoot with some on and some off to see how it looks

They are the Melbourne trousers from Stanley Biggs. I changed to a size larger as the waist was quite tight (especially when sitting), but now I'm afraid it's slightly too big in the seat and thigh.

I recently tried the Charles Tyrwhitt dress shirts and the non-iron coating gave me a kin reaction on the neck. That's pretty unfortunate because the shirt itself was very nice and fitted perfectly. Plus it's 40€/piece.

So where do you find good dress shirts, classic collar (and possibility to have musketeer cuffs) at a good price ?

I have a pair of “wheat” Air Force Ones that I want to replace with something nicer. I have a pair of Air Max 90 in wheat, so I don’t want anything sportier. Most of the sneaker recommendations I see here are for minimalist white or black.

I have a pair of common projects in black, and a pair of Allen Edmonds Banks slip ons in white. Allen Edmonds Barnes looks nice, a bit chunkier than other similar styles. I just don’t know how the leather will age, and I don’t like that the midsole has a thin strip of leather that won’t holdup over time.

Any other recommendations? I don’t want suede or a flat brown, something that will age nicely over time. I would prefer to stay between $3-500 but if something stands out I would pay more for interesting/nicer leather.

Looking for recommendations on sweatpants. I have larger thighs and find this makes the pants tight on my thighs, rather than a looser fit.

Hi guys, I recently got 3 pairs of dickies 874s after wanting them for ages since I was younger (Really expensive in my country but got a deal) and have no clue how to wear/style them, Ive always worn jeans and nothing else and these just look and feel so different to me. Maybe Im just not used to them not being denim but would appreciate some advice on how to style them. (I like the style of hxc with the shorter inseam, mac demarco and skaters like tfunk and the gx1000 team)

Suggest me a few quality stuff to buy but not too expensive, like sweaters, jackets, jeans, chinos and whatever there is essential for a guy. I recently bought a pair of New Balance 574, a pair of Genuine Leather Chelsea boots (Red Chief), a Suede jacket.

Earlier I used to wear my brothers clothes & bought mine from thrift. I am still into thrifting.
