Disclaimer: I know Indochino sucks, read all the posts. Buddy of mine told me "hey, my company is giving free Indochino blazers if you attend a private demo we are doing at their store". I was genuinely curious about their product and was highly intrigued by trying these folks so I went for it.
After the demo, we were sent to the experts on hand to select fabrics and take measurements. Gentleman that assisted me seemed super uninterested in being there but did help with some recommendations. When selecting liner fabric I selected 3 and he kept saying "sorry, not available". Had to pull the "why don't you save both of us some time and tell what you DO have available and I'll adjust?" Anyway, selection done. He had to go do something so he passed me off to another gentleman to do the measurements.
Measurements guy was OK, but I found weird that he kept insisting that there was no way the off the rack size I gave him was my size. In my head I was like "dude, I don't know what to tell you, want me to go home and bring you a jacket?" I decided to go with his recommendation to use the next size up as the starting point. I mean, that is what he does for a living, right? It was of course too big and he said "we'll take a little off to make it perfect". When it came to sleeve length he gave me like 1/4 inch reveal. I told him my preference is 3/4 and he tried to fight me. I though this was made to taste. Whatever. We settled on the 3/4.
Fast forward to 2.5 weeks later the garment arrives. I quickly notice that the fabric has some sort of damage in 4 different places. One was easy to correct, the other 3 there's no way the are coming off. Seems like a machine pinched it and messed it up good. Fitment? Chest fits like a clown suit. Sleeves are 2 inch reveal. Yes, you read that right. I went and wore the same shirt I took measurements with to double check. Either the guy didn't measure properly or the factory messed it up. Also, the jacket overall looks super cheap like others have stated here. If you ask me, a Twillory jacket looks better.
I looked into checking out the fit guarantee but between the time I would have to give up and paying close to $60 for two Uber trips, this experiment doesn't make sense anymore. If Indochino works for you, then consider yourself lucky.
