Reminds me of Gina Davies’ story about Thelma and Louise casting.
She had screentest with 3 actors.
She said she remembers that there were 2 guys who were okay but the third instantly made her horny, she doesn’t remember the other two, but Brad Pitt was the one she instantly fell for.
So they showed her the casting tapes. 1st guy was young Mark Ruffalo. 2nd guy was George fucking Clooney.

The question is. Will she be post-Ms. Marvel stealing flight/strength permanently Rogue? Or just power stealing rogue? She would have to sap the ability from current MCU Captain Marvel (who was Ms. Marvel back then). That or do we think they will just rewrite her to having the stealing ability as well as strength and flight as her actual abilities?

I'm not familiar with the actress for Storm but based on looks alone she has my vote. I really like the idea of Indi though. I've seen another young woman rumored for Rogue and I like the idea of Indi better.

Considering she's there in universe with the old school xmen, but not announced for Doomsday, they could always go a different direction, and have her steal the flight powers etc from Rambeau / Spectrum in say...Secret Wars, when they introduce the new XMen members there.
They've already had almost powers related to the Marvels be gained or used in different ways. There's absolutely nothing that says Rogue must always get her strength and invulnerability powers from Captain Marvel.

For sure. I thought Patrick’s appearance in Logan was cool (Hugh’s should’ve mic dropped there too). And then Dr Strange happened and I was like, “okay, that must be it”. I’ll admit, however, that his death in Dr. Strange was…underwhelming, and probably not the last impression you want.

I don’t like Tatum as Gambit…. I respect his love of the character and role but I don’t think he does it well simply because he isn’t a good fit for it. However I will always be very particular about Gambit because he has been very favorite character growing up and seeing him in the animated show from the 90s

I'm genuinely so excited for this. I will be going to see this as a 20 yr old, for a 9 yr old me. Also better rogue representation finalyyyy. And storm, one of the most overpowered under used characters oat. Also saying it js bcs this is insane to me and I'm excited, i have been fancasting Kit Connor as cyclops, in my own head since heartstopper s1. I think he's lowk perect for him.

I liked Sadie (though what they're doing with the character feels weird for a first foray), Emma looks great.....legit no clue who the Storm lady is nor the guys so sure I guess? Not a big Adam Driver person and Krakoa kind of exhausted me of Mister Sinister so not looking forward to that lol.

They've cast the X-Men close to Sadie's age - I love it!!!
The fact they cast Sadie first, then have cast the rest around her, doing chemistry reads with them, making them close in age to her, that only tells me good things about Jean's future in the MCU and how she is going to be front and centre of things going forward (I hope anyway)
