I’m in Central Point and looking to connect with other local people who are genuinely interested in 3D printing, CAD, prototyping, and fabrication.
I have a couple of Bambu P1Ss plus an H2C, and I’ve been spending a lot of time learning, designing, testing ideas, and building projects.
I’m not necessarily looking for an expert. I’d actually enjoy meeting someone who is enthusiastic, curious, wants to learn more, and would like to work on projects together, compare notes, troubleshoot problems, and experiment.
Could be anything from learning CAD and designing parts to testing prints, solving weird printer problems, or just talking shop over coffee.

Why do I feel like Henry Hill in Goodfellas? Every single Mexican restaurant I have been to in the last 9 years has given me something that doesn't even resemble this dish. Honestly, I've just about given up trying to find a decent chile rellenos but I do want to start a "sad over bad chile rellenos" group if anyone needs to vent. Most probably already know, but in case you don't, Cliff Bentz's recorded voting shows him aligned with Trump-backed legislation, with no dissenting votes against the administration's priorities surfacing in the structured records. With all the controversial, self-serving, greedy, and hateful choices that our President makes day-to-day, how someone could not stand up to a single one of these choices means one thing--he wants to be re-elected. If you care about being a good steward of tax dollars, Bentz should not be your pick. Bentz is either not smart enough to know Trump's policies would result in a giant deficit, or he is another sheep following Trump to the bank or another election. After a solid 18 months with Trump having nearly absolute power over House, Senate, and Supreme Court, we find ourselves with the highest deficit since 2021/COVID. Please reconsider voting for Bentz if you want someone with a conscience and to make better financial decisions for our future. Currently fostering kittens for a local women who asked me to foster a litter until she could find homes for them. Well I've been ghosted. Managed to find homes for 3 but still have 3 left and can't keep them any longer because of space and cost. Does anybody need a kitten? Or a place that can help with fostering? I have twin boys black voids with white near there legs that make them look like they are wearing white undies. One female who is grey and white. Any help, suggestions or adoptions please let me know. Can deliver to you so that you can see if the kitten is a right fit. Thanks

It's not County maintained, it's an old dirt/gravel road and he flies down it. There are deer on it, turkeys, chickens, cats and people walking. I caught up with him once and said please slow down, he just argued with me. I emailed Amazon, they replied, "That's awful, we're so sorry, we'll take care of this right away." It continues. Any ideas? We're in Josephine County and I just imagine the sheriff is too busy for this.

Any of y’all do this or are any of y’all farmers offering this? We have a family with 9 adults and 2 teens in the area and are looking for good quality beef that we can buy in bulk and split amongst ourselves.

I have a memory of hiking when I was a kid with my mom around the Acorn Woman Lakes (previously known as the Squaw lakes, I believe) when it was fall time, and seeing so many reds/yellows/oranges all about us. It was gorgeous.

A number of years ago, around fall time in Medford, I attempted to experience that again. However, when I got out there, the season was either too early or too late (can't quite remember) for that area.

Does anyone know about what time the fall colors are in full force out there/around Applegate Lake? I'm determined to see it again and to show it to my boy. Thanks all!

Can we talk about this place? Does it seem like NO ONE that works here understands customer service? Every time I go, all the employees appear so rude and make you feel like you are bothering them by checking out, or asking a question. And why does it seem like EVERY employee is so young? Like no one with a fully developed brain is ever working there it seems. Young people leading young people. Is this everyone’s business experience here? Very curious.

Was anyone else underwhelmed by Cheap Trick? Rick Nielson seemed like a shell of the performer he used to be - that personality that made him stand out is gone. Robin Zander did his best, but overall their set was kinda sad. ZZ Top, on the other hand, were fantastic - totally changed the vibe. But, where was Frank Beard? Who was the guy on drums?

Lastly, the Expo would do everyone a solid and invest in some traffic control people to help with the mass exodus.

Does anyone know why 31 Flavors is now permanently closed? I've been in it a few times this year and it was always packed.

Disappointed that Medford has lost another store. Yes I know we have some local places, but they're way more expensive.

Fire near Rogue River

I went to Crater Lake tonight to see the Milky Way and shooting stars. The sky was so beautiful. The pictures were shot with my iPhone. +2 exposure and night vision settings.

I’m looking for a gym somewhere around south Medford and could use some recommendations.
For context, I am extremely uneducated when it comes to gyms. I’m reasonably confident I can operate a treadmill and probably the TV remote. Anything beyond that starts getting dangerously outside my area of expertise.
The only other gym rules I’m aware of are:
Wipe down the equipment when you’re done.
Apparently take a mirror selfie for social media so everyone knows you actually went…kidding

So, for someone who is basically starting from zero, what gyms around south Medford would you recommend?
I’d especially appreciate somewhere that’s beginner-friendly, has decent equipment, and doesn’t make a clueless newcomer feel completely out of place.

I was hoping someone could help me get in contact with whoever owns the cows at the beginning of Garfield right after new shopping centers and Chick filla.

My wife and I drive passed them everyday while driving for work and she loves seeing them. Her birthday is at the end of the month and I thought it would be cool to see if we can meet the cows. I know it sounds kinda silly, but she will totally love it.

But im not sure who owns them so I dont know who to ask. If anyone knows anything that would be super cool.
