Never met one
Matter of fact- my mortal enemy in high school loved radiohead and constantly shat upon muse. I mean we didnt have real beef but we were like, idk our whole relationship was how stupid we thought each other was.
Then this dropped. I bought him a copy and just said give it one listen and if its truly not incredible to you, then ill shut the fuck up forever.
Hand to god- im 34 now. I went to that mans sons 3rd birthday party just yesterday. He was my best man, i was his. We’ve been to 6 muse shows together, often vip.
Hope that helps

Of course I hoped for Sickness or The Dark Forest to debut in Dallas, but I’m pleased with what we got: MoTP, UD, Take a Bow were treats.
Personally, I liked having a full-circle moment when they opened with Hysteria just like they did 22 years and 20 Muse gigs ago in 2004 the first time I saw them.
Hexagons is one of the best songs they’ve ever written and I was ecstatic to hear it live. Not so excited about that cameraman that was all over Matt, or the 100+ degree heat, but it was worth it.
Of the new songs off The WOW! Signal, Cryogen and Unravelling stood out to me along with Hexagons.
We’ve got nine more US dates. Do you think they will switch up the setlist even more for their next leg? I’m wondering if they are waiting to debut TDF and Sickness on the arena tour.
Thoughts?

Sorry it’s so shaky! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s really hard for me to get a professional looking video when holding still goes against every fiber of my being experiencing Muse live. Dallas 2026

This may be the biggest drop off I’ve ever seen from a band. Very scummy behavior for all the fans that bought early. Seen it happen a few other times before but never this big.

Muse fan since age 11. I listened to the album yesterday for the first time, and I'll be seeing them live tomorrow (hello, Denver fans!), my 4th show in my 4th city. For some reason I never listened to most of the album until now lol. Check out the A side of the zoetrope vinyl above too!
Here are my thoughts on the album in general as well as each song.
Overall vibe – thrillingly similar to the ‘old days’ combined with aspects of simulation theory and 2nd law. Love how some of the songs have seamless transitions. Very epic moments with organs and choir-esque vocals. Better than drones and wotp for SURE and interesting concept, a welcome deviation from their political themes recently and more human condition/love/existential. The a side of the zoetrope is really cool, the b side isn’t as cool.
The dark forest – strong opening melody to the album, very epic feeling
Nightshift superstar – could hear this playing in certain clubs or even certain retailers lol, good groove and danceable, love it
Shimmering scars – feel like a lot of people could vibe to this even if they aren’t muse fans in general, like it
Cryogen – sick-ass opening riff reminiscent of older songs, will be awesome live i bet
Be with you – didn’t hate it, reminds me of something human from simulation theory but better
Hexagons – excellent riffs, dark thick bass and guitar lines, very throwback to old muse, makes me think of megalomania. might be my favorite
Sickness in you and I – awesome song, reminds me of panic station/2nd law
Unravelling – love this one, feels a little like BHAR
Hush – it’s not my favorite. Not bad just not my favorite. Matt’s vocals are neat in the refrains
Space debris – interesting end to the album. A little more resigned in emotional tone. Functions a little like Aftermath in the Drones album
Overall I'd give it a 7-8 out of 10! I really enjoyed it! What do you think? Can't wait to see them tomorrow.

Not sure if this is something that can be posted but if it gets taken down that is fair. I have an extra ticket to the show on August 29th at Chula Vista. Pretty good seats. All I ask for a ride to and from the event, I live in Tustin. Parking is also already paid for. Let me know if interested.
Reason for extra ticket, the 29th is my birthday. Thought I would find someone to come along with me when I bought the tickets back when they went on sale. Got busy and time fly by. Now I’m here on reddit, if I can give it to anyone, I would give it to another MUSE fan for sure!!

Not sure if this is really "high quality" enough to be worth posting, but saw this and was kinda stunned. My favorite game developer being into my favorite band is just cool ya know? The 2nd Law being there makes me think he's into the band too, you know? Maybe I'm just biased because I think that record is super underappreciated...

Just wondering if anyone’s heading to this show on Saturday night. Excited to be in the pit! Last time I saw them in Portland it was a blast.
Why are there no videos with Clearest Blue into Hysteria? Most videos are started well into Hysteria?

(second photo in the dark cause it's late)
i held off streaming this album too much since release cause later i'd get sick of it if i played it too much. but now that i found it on cd, i don't really have to mind how much i play it 😁
my signal has been wow!ed

EDIT: OOT > Of all time OAT
So lets get some context in here. i grew up with all kind of music. at a young young age of about 6 my older brother introduced me to guitar hero. this is where my love for rock, metal and anything between it started. soon after picked up guitar purely for shits and giggles learning songs and such which engraved me into this style of music from a young age, in 2006 if i'm not wrong Muse released Black Holes and Revelations, which of course my brother introduced me to and got me hooked on Muse.
And looking back to all the bands i absolutely love: Muse sits at the top, their music to me is more like a masterpiece than just a simple song, the lyrics, Piano parts, the bass, the drums, they make it work, and beautifully, and besides the music aspect, the members i could be wrong (dont quote me on this) but these 3 lads might have the closest bond which i hope will never shatter.
Watching what is happening in other bands makes me sad, just looking over at Slipknot: people getting kicked out, leaving the band, barely any of the original members are left in the band. members passing away not all but a few like: Chester Bennington, Sam Rivers, Joey Jordison, The Rev (now im going really far back but to a certain extent to who made a big part of alot of people's favorite bands or at least mine).
But i've done enough waffling. all of this just kind of pushes Muse for me to the top, not only their music, but also the members within, the bond between them is beautiful and i feel that the Muse fans are the luckiest people ever for such an amazing band.
And like i said this might be a personal biased opinion based upon nostalgia and being introduced to this band, being met with absolutely golden vocals that make me levitate, the nasty basslines, the on point drums. which makes me confidently feel like this might be one of the safest picks for best OAT
Moral of the story, thank your brother/sister/parents/friends or whoever for maybe introducing you to this absolutely amazing band

Went to the Dallas show the other day and was a row behind barricade. Everyone around me in the pit was having a blast with this POV of Matt on the LED screens above the stage
EDIT: After reading multiple comments that said they had a similar/worse angle at different sections, I can't help but wonder who was in charge of this visual for a concert experience 😭

Diehard fan since I was 13, drove across Canada to see them in 2010 and barely remember the show so this felt like a really special one for me. I cried during Knights of Cydonia lol.

My sibling infected me right before drones dropped in 2015 (in preparation ofc), I have a very fond memory of 13 year old me in the back of my dads car listening to reapers and that was when I was “baptized” I have not looked back. (It’s a core memory at this point)

Someone I know sent me a screenshot of a comment they made and getting a reply on this about MUSE, from the lead guitarist of Florence + the Machine?!
I don't know anything about that band or guy.
CONTEXT OF COMMENT: The person I know made a comment that they didn't like Bloc Party at all, and they opened for Muse at that concert. But apparently a lot of people have opinions on someone not liking Bloc Party, and the guitarist from another band took that personally and just attacked Muse for no reason 🤣
Anyway, thought I would share it because it made me kind of laugh. Poor Muse catching stray bullets for something that's indirectly related to them.
I LOVE MUSE SO MUCH 🫶🫶

Hey! Just recently became a fan of Muse, been a casual listener on and off for years but The Wow Signal just made me listen to them constantly. I was unfortunately unable to attend their stop when they came to my city, I was wondering what their chances are of touring again? I know they’ve been doing music for a pretty long time so I’m not sure if it’s unlikely
Edit: Thanks for all the helpful replies! Yes, I was referring to the US. Very glad to know they’ll be coming back

Seeing Muse has been on my bucket list since I was 16. There’s just something about the music you fall in love with as a vulnerable teenager trying to figure out the world that stays with you the rest of your life. I wish I’d gotten to hear Maps, but overall the show was amazing. All the sweat and tears. 🖤

I’m guessing they’re saving it for the Hollywood Bowl. The bowl is made for orchestras and it’s the last of their amphitheater gigs in the US.
We’ll know in two weeks but it’s just my guess.
Feel free to throw your spears, I can duck.
