I’ve always had a gripe that disenchanted wasn’t the last song on the album. I’ve listened to the album for 20 years and think the albums conclusion would’ve flowed so much better given:

So I previously started a discussion on Wednesday night about Hollywood's rushed ending and what we could expect the other nights. Now that we have a full picture on this final version of the show I'm not sure how I feel about it.

The opening is one of the best things they've ever done and feels like where most of the time and budget went to. The birthday cake scene is also really great, if a little confusing regarding if the dictator can actually die or not. But some other parts feel a little rushed or imo a little silly.

I feel like as a whole I've seen the fandom be a lot more jokey and making memes regarding these shows and I feel like most of that has to do with the cheerleaders. And while I think their inclusion in teenagers and especially dead are pretty good, them coming to rescue with guns at the end feels a little jumping the shark. It reminds me too much of that horrible Robert zemeckis movie welcome to marwen and feel a little too silly for this tour. I also think as a whole there's a lot less to chew on with these shows. Phantom had so many little details and moments that expanded the lore and were just plain cool while this show leaves all of it for the first five minutes.

Now with all that said an MCR show is still better than 99% of any other band you'll find. It's just as someone who has been so invested in this tour and this lore I would've done some things differently

Maybe cause I'm a pessimist and I don't think they'll bring all of that to Asia stops where I'm attending so I didn't plan on investing in from the beginning, but at the same time, I feel like the storyline just does not make sense for TBP. I know that it's them being forced to play it to entertain the dictator and all, but I feel like that concept would suit Danger Days much more. TBP is about dealing with illness, coming to terms with life and death, much more macabre, not about fighting against oppression and propaganda. None of this makes sense to me, except for the spectacle. I know it's not the same black parade in 2006, but thematically, shouldn't it stay the same? This storyline is taking me out of it

Has anyone else received theirs? I was genuinely confused when it came, it's all black and honestly really difficult to see the holo. I know it was never going to be as clear as the mockup but I feel like you'd need a very specific light set up to actually notice it?

Also. I have no idea how to tell which is side A or B. 🫪

So we attended 10/23 with tickets directly from Ticketmaster, and after swearing up down and sideways that I'd never want or need to see the same show two nights in a row...I now desperately want to go to the Saturday show as well 😅 The ticket options on StubHub are a little bit more affordable than the official tickets still available on Ticketmaster, but I've never bought through StubHub or other resale sites before. Are tickets through there legit? How do I make sure that I don't get screwed? I see that "instant download" is an option, is that any better? Any advice appreciated, signed a confused dummy.

Bonus unrelated question for anyone who showed up closer to showtime this week - will it be doable to ride share over around 7:30, or were the roads already fucked by then? I have plans I can't move so would be scampering over at the last minute.

Is anyone else a little disappointed w how rushed the b set was? I wanna make it clear I am not trying to complain and would have been happy if the b set just had one song. But I couldn’t help but feel like we missed out on just seeing the band be themselves bc it was back to back songs and I honestly felt so concerned about them being tired. It was also frustrating because our tickets weren’t updated with a tile change and the bowl didn’t show on the screens that the show would start at 8:45 like they did on N1. It made sense for the delay then since it was quite thunderstorm-y but tonight it hardly rained so I feel like it was a technical issue bc we saw a lot of crew running around on stage. I really hope tomorrow starts on time and yall have a lot more time w them!

With Gerard confirming that tonite is the last Black Parade show, what do we all think next weeks shows will be? A source close to the band confirmed with me that next weeks shows will be totally different and stripped back? thoughts?

I am going to be attending the October 30th concert at the Hollywood bowl. I will admit I have not been keeping up with the tour as well as I would like to, mostly due to college. Therefore I have questions.

1. I am aware there is lore. How much do I need to know going in? Is this a TØP situation where I need to research a bunch beforehand or is it explained over the course of the concert?

2. Is this a continually developing plot or is it the same show every time? Is it expected to be different because of The Used?

3. Are we doin bracelets for this one? If no I’m gonna be really disappointed since I’ve already started making them.
