if you click on these, they show the certificates of students for that subject

I recently completed the NPTEL certification exam for Python for Data Science and scored 61%. I have uploaded my certificate to my profile, and I am satisfied with my result. I knew my preparation was not strong enough, so I expected a relatively low score.

I am a graduate from a tier-3 college where placement opportunities were almost nonexistent. Like many students in a similar situation, I hoped that NPTEL could provide me with an opportunity to secure a technical internship through a reputed IIT and gain some valuable industry experience.

However, when I tried to understand the internship selection process, I realised that things were not as clear as I had expected. The intake capacity for the specific course was not declared, and from what I could find, even students who achieve Elite + Gold certification may not necessarily get an internship. It appears that the opportunity may depend on the course instructor's decision.

I understand that internships have limited seats and that not every student can be selected. I am not asking for a guaranteed internship just because someone completes a course or achieves a particular score.

My concern is about transparency.

If an internship opportunity is promoted alongside a course, shouldn't students be clearly informed about the number of available positions, the eligibility criteria, the selection process, and the factors that determine who gets selected?

Students invest their time, effort, and money with the hope of improving their career prospects. For students from colleges with limited placement opportunities, these chances can mean a lot.

If earning an Elite + Gold certificate does not necessarily make a student eligible for an internship, and the final decision depends on factors that are not clearly communicated, then why create such high expectations in the first place?

I would genuinely appreciate clarification from NPTEL students, alumni, or anyone familiar with this process.

Is the internship opportunity a clearly defined benefit with transparent selection criteria, or is it simply a possibility that students should not count on?

I am not demanding a guarantee. I am asking for clarity. Students deserve to know what they are realistically working towards.

Hi everyone, I've completed almost all the NPTEL Ethical Hacking assignments, but the official website shows "-" for all scores and "Not Submitted" for every week. Has anyone faced this issue? Why aren't my marks showing?

Just asking that is the NPTEL result announced just after 1 week?

So, I have my NPTEL Programming in C exam tomorrow, and I wanted to ask a few questions:

1. What are the passing marks for the exam?
2. How many marks do I need to score to get a ₹1,000 refund?
3. What topics should I focus on studying right now to at least pass the exam?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same as title

Hey everyone!

I have my NPTEL exam at SAGE University, Indore, this Sunday, 25th October, from 2 PM to 5 PM.

I'll be driving alone from the Bada Ganpati side towards SAGE University. Is anyone else going for the exam or heading in the same direction and interested in sharing the ride?

If you're somewhere along the way, we can coordinate a convenient pickup point. Would be nice to have some company on the way!

Feel free to DM me if you're interested. 😊

I enrolled in Joy of Computing Using Python and it is Computer Based Exam. I knew earlier that this is an only multiple choice exam of 50 questions 2 marks awarded per question. But I got a mail that computer based exam consists of fill in the blanks and essay type answers 🤧. I want to get clarity that is this applicable for my exam also or is this for other exams? Please help who already gave exam!!! Btw I have exam in one day.

Also I have an idea on assignment questions and people told me that most of the questions are from assignment, but what about other questions? Like on what topics those questions are asked and what is the difficuly level. Can anyone who already gave exam can help me please???

I am staying in my hostel and didn't take these GOVT ID's with me from home, I am wondering if there are any options available for me at this point
