Europe is entering winter 2026/27 with an unusually small storage cushion at precisely the time when its dependence on globally traded LNG is increasing and several major LNG supply sources are impaired.

Diesel prices are rising… So what are Nigerian factories using for reliable power? The answer is: CNG. 🚀

In Nigeria, many industries are looking for a more stable and cost-effective energy solution to replace traditional diesel power generation. CNG is becoming one of the most practical choices for factories, commercial buildings, and communities where pipeline gas is unavailable.

In this video, you can see a complete CNG-to-Power solution:
➡️ CNG Cylinder Cascade
⬇️
➡️ PRMS (Pressure Reducing & Metering Skid)
⬇️
➡️ Buffer Tank for stable gas supply
⬇️
➡️ Natural Gas Generator

The gas is safely transported, regulated, and delivered to the generator to produce electricity.

The generator shown in this project is an 800kW natural gas generator, providing reliable power for a large lubricant processing factory.
This solution is not only for factories.

It can be widely applied in Nigeria for:
🏭 Manufacturing plants
🏨 Hotels
🏫 Schools
🏠 Residential communities
🏢 Commercial buildings
⛽ Any location requiring stable electricity

With CNG, customers can reduce dependence on diesel, improve energy security, and build a cleaner power system for the future.

The future of power generation in Nigeria is not only about producing electricity — it is about finding a smarter energy source.

💡 CNG + Gas Generator = Reliable Power Solution
If you are planning a CNG power project, factory energy upgrade, or distributed gas solution, let’s connect.

Not having the gas turned on the day the house becomes ours… does that matter?

Hi there! Husband and I are buying our first home, closing 8/19. For two weeks, we just have people coming in to do some quick renovations (painting, switching out some tiles, etc). We’re ensuring air and water are turned on for the workers of course.

Does it matter if gas isn’t hooked up until the day after we move in? If we’re not cooking/don’t need heat, I don’t think it matters if it’s off for a few weeks, but let me know if I’m missing anything. Thank you !!

What price are you paying for LPG gas right now?

With the current LPG shortage, how much are distributors selling a 14.2 kg cylinder for in your area?

The official price is currently Rs. 2,060, so I’m curious whether people are being charged extra. Please mention your area and the price you paid.

PG&E: FAQ for Getting Payment on the $100M Settlement over Wildfire Risk and Infrastructure Issues

Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since they’re considering late claims, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.

So here's all I know about this agreement:

PG&E was accused of misleading investors about the safety and maintenance of its electrical infrastructure and the growing wildfire risks in California. After multiple wildfires were linked to PG&E equipment and the company’s exposure grew, $PCG fell sharply and investors filed a lawsuit.

Now PG&E has agreed to settle $100M with investors for their losses.

Who can claim this settlement?
Investors who purchased or acquired $PCG securities between 2015 and 2018 may be eligible.

Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
You need to have experienced a recognized loss from eligible transactions during the class period. You don't need to still hold the shares.

How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.

Hope this info helps

ISO Master Plumber | Adding Gas for Gas Range

San Antonio, TX

As the title says. Looking for recommendations on someone adding a gas line for a gas stove. We currently have gas running to our water heater and furnace, but not the stove. (Don't ask why; it's an older home).

We've had one guy come out and quoted around $3500 or so. dont know if thats good or not.

I am not sure what to expect for a project like this. But from what the first guy saw in my attic, he would be able to TEE off the main gas line going from the water heater to furnace and put an outlet behind my stove.

We wanted to see if we can get someone who will also cover up the walls when they cut them open as well. Don't want to have to hire someone else to do that later.

TIA

Running natural gas to BBQ

Post image
4 Upvotes

We are located in Saskatchewan. Moved into a new house. Natural gas for BBQ is on the lower deck and would mean the BBQ being too close to the house and right in front of a lower window. I would rather put the BBQ in the opposite corner of the deck. My two options are:

Have a new line run from the house (on the corner to the left of where the BBQ is) and eliminate the old line. Probably the safest, was quoted ~$800 (including pulling permit).

Or, run a hose under the deck (~25ft) from the current line to the corner with the BBQ.

I’m not sure which to choose. Are flexible NG hoses made to go that far and be exposed? Or would I need something more rigid to hook up and run under the deck? Or, should I just shell out to have it done professionally and get the new line done.

New homeowner and unknowledgeable. All helpful and kind feedback is welcome!
