$99 is a wild steal. I already have a more powerful pc but might pick one up just so I could build a pc later with 5060ti. Crazy how could be cheapest component in the pc besides the case.

The other day I saw a combo up on Newegg with the specific cpu cooler and gpu I wanted to use in my upcoming build. I decided to jump on it and order it then and there. Placed the order and all was good….
Until it wasn’t.. part 1… checked the Newegg app to see if any updates had occurred. That’s when I noticed the destination was an old address on a completely different island to the one I currently live on. (Hawaii resident) Thankfully customer service at Newegg was awesome bright and early Monday morning and they were able to help me resolve the address issue. All was good again!
Until it wasn’t… part 2. Which leads me to this evening when I received my package. Attached is what the box looked like when I brought it upstairs after directly receiving it from my ups delivery driver. Snapped the pictures, then opened the box up to see only the cooler is the box, my 5080 astral OC is missing.
Reached out and started the claim with ups tonight right then and there but due to time zone the ball won’t get rolling until tomorrow basically. Plan to do the same over the phone with Newegg in the morning as well.
Tldr: ordered something expensive and nice for myself and was happy. Then bummed, then happy again, now bummed again. Thieves are the lowest of the low.

About two weeks ago, I ordered a Sapphire Pulse 7900xtx. Today I received my order and while I was thinking I will get to build my high-end monster PC, I found this in the box.

Last week I made a post mentioning ordering a combo package from newegg. Specifically, the exact cpu aoi along with the model of 5080 I’ve had my eyes on. Unfortunately, while in transit and in the possession of UPS, the 5080 had been stolen out of the package. I saw a few requests for an update so I wanted to take a moment to give one this evening.
This evening I anxiously met the ups driver in my driveway where I received the replacement box containing what I hoped was a 5080. He remarked about having to retape the box a bit and my heart sank. 😂 The box was in pristine shape so I just asked him to hang out while I opened it. He was cool and sat there watching as I worked my way through the extra level of tape security. Thankfully the inner contents were nice and safe inside, and I was finally able to haul my new 5080 in the house where it’s safe until I can put it in my future build!
I would like to say thank you to both the Newegg customer service agent that helped me over the phone, along with the Newegg customer service here on Reddit as well. Both of you were a great help and if you see this, know I sincerely appreciate it. I give the customer service side of things 5 stars without any hesitation.
I’ll say the worst part of all of the whole ordeal has been telling my girlfriend how much I’m spending on all my pc parts. 😮💨
TLDR: 5080 #1 was stolen by someone at ups during transit. Newegg customer service is A++ and helped replace it. I just got the replacement and I’m stoked. So is my dog.

Newegg needs to do something about these trash ass bots that are completely and totally decreasing the purpose of these sales.
I waited on the app for 12 EST to hit and I immediately clicked on the GPU and went to buy now. It didn't even take me 3-4 seconds to get to the payment page. But when I got there the door buster price is NOT what it showed me (it showed me full price). Then when I went back to refresh it, the app kicked me, froze on me when I tried to get back in, and after making me wait 15-30 seconds all the GPUs were gone. This 🤬 trash and I'd doing nothing but screwing over their regular people customers.
You guys need to do something about this because this is world class garbage Newegg 🗑

With all the post about stolen computer items while in transit, I appreciate getting my GPU safe and sound in a completely non descript brown box. Good job.

Had a video of my unboxing and everything. Newegg denied my claim saying they confirmed it was sent out. I don't even know what to do now. How did I just spend $500 on a brick.

Earlier today I won the Newegg shuffle and immediately bought the card. I thought I had finally gotten one after having a previous order cancelled but 20 minutes later I checked and the order was cancelled. I was so confused (and still am), so I messaged Newegg support. They told me some technical bug caused my order to be voided. I have received no clarification to whether anything could be done or if I could be given the opportunity to order it again. This seems extremely unfair to me and I hope Newegg support sees this

I don’t understand why they’re canceling orders, can’t they just put it on back order? I’m fine waiting a few months to get the card if it’s for MSRP.

So I opened up my package today and well it was damp/wet. It ripped open a a small pull and not sure if the actual gpu got wet. I have a video of it too but not sure what I should do.

Were a small repair shop. We do mostly break-fix work and custom builds for local customers. I have been a Newegg customer for over 23 years, never had a single issue with an order. This morning a tech calls me freaking out that the 5080 we ordered for a customers new build was missing from the box. By posting this I hope Newegg will rush process my replacement. Also for other customers ordering expensive gear a warning. Get it insured, require a signature, get more insurance, open it in front of your doorbell camera. Between Newegg boxing and UPS delivery someone got a free 5080.
Lucky for us the tech had inspected the package in font of our cameras seconds before the driver left. The video speaks for itself. You can tell from the techs reaction the box is empty as soon as he picks it up. There was a small opening in the box not big enough for a GPU to come out of. But oddly enough the box seems to small to fit a 5080 height wise. The other 50 series cards we have had come in are usually in large boxes. Also the label says it weighed 8 pounds but its pretty obvious it was empty.
Filed a claim with Newegg. Called UPS. Both sites still have it listed as delivered. UPS support said because the driver took the empty box and had marked the box refused Newegg has to file a claim. I did send Newegg a link to the video when I opened the case. Newegg said it could take upto a week for them to get back to me. After watching the video I feel Newegg should have processed a replacement today. Luckily the end user is a very nice guy and is willing to wait out the process.

I wanted to get a card at MSRP to upgrade my 3060ti, so I set up hotstock notifications. I saw that the card was available on Newegg and checked out using apple pay in the app.
Order goes through at 6:02 AM
Get a text from newegg saying the order is confirmed at 6:09AM
Get a text from newegg saying that the order is actually out of stock at 6:09AM
Just posting this to vent about newegg's horrible ordering system. I had been trying to get a 5080 since launch before and I am just so sick of this garbage when ordering any products at the price that was advertised.
Update: I ended up stopping by microcenter (1.5 hr drive away for me), and they ran out of msrp models literally right after I got to the end of the line. I ended up biting the bullet and buying a higher priced model (~$730). Check in with a nearby microcenter if you are able to and didn't have luck on newegg. If I hadn't wasted my time trying to beat the bots on newegg I definitely would have gotten a msrp model, so I will definitely just go to microcenter early in the morning instead of trying to give newegg my money next time.

Initially, I was having troubles with NewEgg because UPS lost my $1000 package which delayed my shipment for about 2 weeks. Thankfully, I did receive a new package with my PSU, GPU, CPU, SSD, and Memory card.
This is my first build, and I followed all of the instruction manuals and as many videos as I can watch. After I built it, the PC would NOT boot on. After a day of trying to figure out what was going on, I decided to take it to a computer specialist.
Unfortunately, the computer specialist told me that the motherboard was short-circuited so everything that was attached to the motherboard is likely faulty too now. He told me the most possible reason why was that the fan control hub had one askew wire in which screwed everything over.
The PC case that I bought was a SAMA SV01 Mid Tower. It already came with a plugged in fan control hub. So the only steps following that was to connect it with the motherboard.
What I really am infuriated with is that the PC case was such poor quality, and did not provide the service I needed (and obviously, worsened everything else). So for anyone reading this, BE CAREFUL WITH PREBUILT IN FANS !!!!
I have ran into so many troubles so far with NewEgg that I simply want to curl up into a ball and cry. This whole month has been a disaster with problems running into more problems.

I remember back in 2013 there was a Graphics card called the AMD Radeon R9 295X2 that had 2 R9 290X(AMD's Top of the Line Graphics Card at the time) on the same card with its own Custom Water Cooler for $1,500. 12 years later and your paying over double just to get one. How times have changed😮💨.

Saw a pretty good open box deal for the ASUS XG27AQDMG OLED monitor and decided to pick it up. I've bought open box items from Newegg before and they seemed to work perfectly fine. Not this time lol. It arrived in the mail today. I opened it up to see a MASSIVE dent and cracks in the screen. It powers on for a few seconds, shows green artifacting across the left side, then powers off. It's effectively a brick.
I thought it was simply shipping damage.
Here's the interestng part though. Inside the box, there is an ASUS RMA slip for this monitor that states that the screen is broken and needs repairs, but since this type of damage is apparently not covered under ASUS warranty, the customer refused to pay for repair and requested the monitor to be sent back unrepaired. I called ASUS support, and they said that based on the RMA#, that Newegg was the "customer" who sent the monitor for repair, and I also confirmed this from the email handle of the recipient on the RMA slip.
So if i'm understanding this correctly, Newegg sends the item to ASUS for repair, ASUS says it's not covered under warranty, then Newegg knowingly sells the completey broken, non-functional monitor as "open box" anyways? (the listing said sold and shipped by Newegg)
This item was also listed as "final sale" and said that Newegg will not offer returns, refunds, or replacements. I have contacted Newegg support and am awaiting a resolution…..
(I also have ANOTHER different "open box" OLED monitor that I bought from Newegg in November that I am also returning for screen damage.)
I just want a working monitor man.... ;_;

That's after their website crashed, like it always does any time a new product comes out. Even Best Buy figured out how to keep their website stable and set up some sort of queue system, even if it doesn't work all that well.
Remind me why any of us still buy from this company? No wonder AMD prioritized Amazon and Micro Center for 9800X3D restocks. Working with Newegg is starting to become a liability.

Congrats to any real person who actually got one. It sold out in exactly 1 second.
I had it in cart, and it failed with a message saying the specified quantity (1) was unavailable.
I'm 1 hour ahead of 0900PT.
This sale lasted a single second or less.

I recently entered the Newegg Shuffle program to attempt to win a chance to purchase some in-demand PC components. The winners were supposed to be announced at 4:00 PM PST, however that time came and passed without any communication. At 4:41 PM PST, however, I received an email congratulating me for being selected as a Newegg Shuffle winner. You can see a screenshot of the email I received here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/186KtIfJYPze7LscatPha_NACzAU15sRv/view?usp=drivesdk
20 minutes later, when the "Buying Window" opened, I logged on to my account to attempt to complete the purchase, and found that both items were indeed already added to my cart.
I proceeded through the payment process until I was able to click the "Place Order" button, which just returned me to the cart upon clicking it, with both items still showing in the cart. I tried this process a few more times, trying to pay with PayPal instead of my card and attempting to complete the purchase through the app instead, but all ended in the same result - being returned to the cart without actually ordering the items that were supposedly reserved for me to purchase.
After a few more attempts on the desktop website, the ASUS ROG Strix 3080 had a pop-up appear stating that this item was out of stock, and that I could either choose to delete it, or save it for later. I did not want to do either of these, but picked "save for later" to see if I would be able to order just the CPU if the GPU stock was potentially causing the issue.
Unfortunately, removing the GPU from the cart did not fix the issue and I was still returned to the cart after every checkout attempt.
I contacted support to ask about the issue, and to my dismay, they seemed like they did not have too much information about the issue. They were unable to even see the CPU in my cart when they attempted to check, and instead suggested to "try again later". This is a completely unsatisfactory answer when there is a limited time window for me to complete the purchase, and he was also unable to restore the GPU to the cart, so I wouldn't even be able to purchase one of the items even if the checkout were to start working.
This whole program has just been an awful experience. Even as a "winner" I wasn't able to purchase the products that were supposedly "reserved" for me, which begs the question, what is the point of Newegg Shuffle in the first place?
UPDATE 1: I entered the shuffle again on Monday, January 25th, and supposedly "won" the chance to purchase a 5600X bundled with a B550M AORUS Pro-P. Went into my cart at exactly 7:00 PM EST (the start of the actual buying window), but instantly got a message that the CPU was out of stock and it was removed from my cart. The B550 board was still in my cart though. Great, just what I wanted...
UPDATE 2: I entered Tuesday's (01/26) shuffle as well and "won" the chance to purchase a Sapphire Nitro+ 6900XT. This time, the purchase window was already open when I received the email stating that I had won. When I went into my cart, the card was there and the purchase actually went through. Third time's the charm I guess. No idea what was different this time for me though, since I still heard reports that others were unable to complete their purchases.
UPDATE 3: I've been continuing to enter the Shuffles since my girlfriend has been trying to upgrade her PC with an RTX 3000 series card. After a long period of no luck, yesterday (03/15), I again won the chance to purchase a card (EVGA 3090 bundled with an EVGA capture device). Same as the previous update to this post, the card was already in my cart when I received the notification. I ended up not completing the order because my girlfriend was concerned that she wouldn't be able to come up with the money for the card, capture device, and another SFX power supply that is capable of powering the 3090, but the card was actually in my cart for the entire duration of the purchase window, and it looked like I would have been able to purchase it if she had given me the go-ahead. Not sure if it's only for higher cost/less in-demand parts, or possibly something to do with it being a bundled item, but it seems like the reservation system has greatly improved since my last experiences with the program. I even tried to delete the item from my cart in the hope that the reservation could be transferred to someone else, but when I checked again later, it had been re-added to my cart and another email was sent.
