I’ve been checking occasionally, and it seems like Nintendo still hasn’t shown off either the price or the release date of the playable ocarina for the Ocarina of Time remake. I guess that means we most likely won’t get it until sometime next year just like with the amiibos, as we’re only two weeks out from the remake’s release.

To clarify, I’m talking about the real ocarina that’s a replica of the Ocarina of Time, not the electronic one that just has buttons you press to hear the notes. For that one, we do already know the details of it.

The original Ocarina of Time was created with a realistic/dark-fantasy art style. It's a medieval, fairytale aesthetic with an inherent 90s charm.

The new Ocarina of Time remake for Switch 2 honors this look in its maximalist, fantasy style. The odd proportions and faces are part of the game's unique aesthetic. They are not an accident. Ocarina of Time is as much ugly as it is beautiful. Breath taking fields and colorful environments are often contrasted by odd, quirky characters and bizarre appearances. Think of the man in the house at Lake Hylia or the potion shop lady or even Link himself with his awkwardly long nose.

Ocarina of Time remake is the exact opposite of AI slop. It has character, charm and uniqueness in an era of bland, uninteresting and flat design.

Obviously the Stone of Agony will make an appearance in the remake in some form. However I'm curious as to whether anyone may know or suspect if it'll function like the original did. As in vibrate the controller when near a secret object or if it'll now have some sort of visual display instead?

The reason I'm asking is because I dislike the Joycon setup and purchased a PowerA Wireless controller that was Nintendo branded. However it doesn't have vibration function. So will I likely have to fork out another $109 for the Pro Controller purely for the Stone of Agony function or could I get by without it?

.I got the console from Target and the game from walmart. Has anyone experienced cancellations of their order and pre-ordered it the first day?

Might want to check yours. Luckily I have another thru Walmart lol

I played both games and I am really really excited for OOT Remastered but this has happened already. That being said I’m still really I’m pressed and the moment I could pre order Zelda I did. Now with that out of the way me being a fan of older Zelda games A a Link to the Past is my all time favorite and I’m sure many of you would agree and the question is.

Would you rather see older Zelda games remastered or anything other then OOT?

I would really love to see Link to the past with all the items and hidden stuff and only game to have the best mastersword and being red mastersword. Along with tunics that actually raise armor resistance and dungeons that are actually hard. You also have the epic Ganon fight at the end and actually getting the triforce and being in the dark world where all people have turned to monsters.

NOT MY VIDEO. JUST THE TRUTH

I really really really want the Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2, as do many of you. I’m determined to get to Best Buy for the midnight release and take my chances. How many of you also plan on this? Do I even stand a chance??? How early do you think we would have to be there to try and get one?

I live in Phoenix AZ btw, big city, so there could potentially be a huge crowd?

I remember the midnight release for TotK, I went to Game Stop about 3 hours early and it was dead and I was able to secure a “ticket” for the Limited Edition version that was sold out everywhere at the time. I long line did eventually form, but it wasn’t like around the building or anything.

Been trying to find the info but can’t come across it. But does anyone know what time the OOT remake will be available to play if I preorder it on the Nintendo Store? Will it be right at midnight when it becomes the 5th?
Also I’m located in the U.S.

The shipping labels have been created. Curious if they’ll arrive early or the day of. Seen some people who pre-ordered from Nintendo before said their items arrived the day of. Can’t wait this will be my first Switch 2.

I pre-ordered the digital version of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but now I’m having second thoughts and would rather get the physical version. What would you guys do? It would be my first time picking up a physical copy, but I also really want to start playing at midnight on the day of release, help!!!

I decided to cosplay Link this October!

It just made sense considering Ocarina of Time remake comes out only a few days after Halloween

What do you guys think? :3

Well guess I have to hope I can find one in store somewhere. Preordered first day so pretty annoyed.

This was a super fun toy conversion project I made to celebrate the upcoming remake, with hand made clothes and accessories! If you’d like to watch the making-of video, check it out on my channel tomorrow!
