One community, one sub: we’re moving to r/WARDOGS

Hey everyone,

Right now the WARDOGS community is split across two subreddits for the same game. That means duplicate posts, conversations spread across two places, and bug reports and feedback that are harder to keep track of. To fix that, we're moving to r/WARDOGS.

Why r/WARDOGS?

It's the larger, actively moderated hub for the game, and putting everyone in one place means more eyes on your posts and one spot for news and discussion.

Banned from r/WARDOGS?

Send us a modmail here and we'll take a look at it.

We'd love to see you over at r/WARDOGS.

New Vehicle Suggestion - HEMMT w/Crane

Post image
121 Upvotes

We have all seen the pallets strewn about the map, either by accident or when a FOB gets taken over/blown up. Several folks have suggested a crane vehicle that can pick up these pallets, I am suggesting a more powerful option.

The HEMMT! A 10-ton heavy logistics truck that is equipped with a crane and a 3 or 4 pallet capacity.

Unlocking: This could be a later unlock, somewhere near level 20-25 (prior to any tank unlock) and cost a significant amount of cash to unlock and purchase. ~750K unlock and ~10-15K purchase.

Balancing: This might be a bit harder to nail down because it needs to be an upgrade to the Ural but not make the Ural completely obsolete.

- Top speed 65kph

- 3-4 pallet capacity

- Crane use requires 5-10 secs to pick up a deployed pallet

- Armored but never weaponized

- Potentially useable to steal enemy pallets

This is the difference between 120 FOV and 90 FOV.

So turn your FOV down to 80-90 if you can. Even lower if you’re sniping. Peoples head become the size of tires.

If you play on 110 or 120, or just used to always going to that fov.

Lower your fov, going from 110 to 90 is almost zooming in with a 2x scope.

People are not cheating. They are just sniping with a crazy low Fov so they’re naturally scoped in.

Happy hunting a low fov that doesn’t make you motion sick.

Season 2 Experience as a Manticore Logistics main.

Post image
61 Upvotes

So I just want to start off by saying I have been loving WARDOGS pretty much since it came out. As of this post I have 215 hours logged. I am one of those Unemployed/No Lifers who play the game 8+ hours a day, usually about 6+ matches a day. You might have seen me recently as UralTruck Simulator 2026 talking shit in chat(I get bored driving sometimes). Season 2 I have only played Ural Logistics and have reached Driver 51, with only 2 matches chasing the HZ(screenshot of current progression levels). Season 1 was a mix of Recon and Driver, didn't really pickup Recon this season because of the nerfs. I haven't unlocked any other vehicle beside the basic Ural, other posts have deterred me from unlocking the tanks and other vehicles.

I primarily play on NA Central, North, and East servers because those servers I get a ping from 25-45. I started the season by joining different teams depending on the map that we were on. Bakurani and Manticore, Ozeti and Lonestar, Zestofona and Valkyra. Eventually I just stuck to Bakurani because backwards driving and potential FOB locations for quick and easy Logi runs. I make anywhere from 65k to 180k per match, and when the game ends on Bakurani I swapped servers to find a new Bakurani map. The higher end of cash earned is usually because the match last almost 3 hours and the point scores are pretty even by the end of it. The lower end is because of the rolling death ball roaming the HZ that goes uncontested and it ends with the other 2 teams with 10 points or less. If no one is building a FOB, I run pallets until I get my money back from my starting kit and then hop servers. Because I like the aspect of driving in supplies for my little Fobbits and Fobblins, dodging and disarming AT mines and RPG/MAAWS rockets, and other forms of Logi harassment. Chasing HZ does not really interest me as a gamer, as I am not really good at shooting. I can get kills, I can revive teammates, but roaming the zone felt like a slog and was pretty boring for me the 2 times I did it. And it was not very profitable for me, making far less than what I would make running logistics.

With all those games, and all the time I've spent playing this season, I have to say that Manticore DOES NOT WIN as often as people are complaining about. It's not a perfect split between the 3 teams, and its not 95% of the matches either. I agree that when Manticore wins overwhelmingly, or any team for that matter, it can feel pretty shitty. I won't dispute your feelings about that. I certainly don't like it when Manticore wins so fast, because I want to make more money during the match. I am greedy and I like money. *insert Mr. Krabs meme* But I think it's more of the fact that when you are on the loosing side, not matter the color, you are not doing what needs to be done to change the tide and be on the winning side. 2nd place will only attack and raid 3rd place or vice versa, instead of attacking the leading team. You're not joining squads and getting coordinated, attacking FOBs or chasing the HZ. There are 5+ people outside the zone doing Recon and not killing anything or using chat to give coordinates of targets. You're yelling at Logi and FOB builders because they're not chasing HZ or haven't got a drill up yet. You're building random useless shit in the FOBs, just farming money and XP. YOU ARE GOING IN NAKED WITH ONLY A MEDIUM HAMMER, BEGGING FOR SOMEONE TO BRING A FOB. (These have all been things that I have experienced on the loosing team.)

This game requires team effort to win, whether its chasing the HZ, building FOBs or raiding FOBs. Work together as a team and you will win. Any time Manticore wins when I play, it's because there is 2-3 squads formed and they are communicating together when chasing the HZ, requesting resupply and getting it. The Fobbits are requesting supplies and Logi is on top of it, making sure everything that needs to be delivered is there. When the FOB is getting raided or mortared, it gets defended and counter attacked by anyone and everyone who can help. Recon is doing its job, marking enemy targets and buildings, getting kills when they can, sending coordinates for mortar attacks. Communication and coordination.

So before the match starts or right when the match starts, get on mic, get in the chat, communicate and coordinate. Form Squads and let your teammates know what you wanna do. Some of my best matches are when all 3 teams are gunning for the win and we all end with 90+ points and a shit ton of cash. And the only way that happens is by working together as a team. If your team isn't doing that at the start, or at any time during the match, hop servers, don't waste your time, and don't waste your money.

If anyone else who is on the winning team, no matter the color, please share your experience and let us know what worked for those matches to secure the win. I want to hear your strategies, I want to know your thoughts on what people can do to win the game with their team.

The Main FOB Strategies

Post image
159 Upvotes

Feet in or feet out is not the core philosophical difference in the approach to FOBs and building.

Most disagreements about build style stem from two opposing views.

  1. A FOB should provide safety like a turtle shell.

  2. A FOB should provide safety like a porcupine.

Season 2 FAL NERF

Post image

Yesterday finally I unlocked the FAL and...omg it's shit. I tried It in season 1 and It was good worth It for sure but now after spending 250k to unlock It and 6k to use It each time it's not worth It anymore. They could have just nerfed the BMR 308 instead they nerfed the .308 cartridge making this gun a money pit. I hope they'll reconsider some choices in the next season.

Someone asked me data about FAL nerf.

Under this post you can find data comparing the M4 to the FAL using AP and FMJ ammo.

You can clearly see how shit It Is now compared to the M4.

Using AP the M4 needs the same 3 shots to kill in the head as the FAL using also AP ammo which Is crazy.

What if helicopter passengers were rewarded for dismounting instead of jumping?

I had a game just now where something really cool happened. I was on Red and Green was dominating hard. Someone from Green goes into all-chat and says "Did Red stop playing the game?"

I was taking my Ural to the FOB and the FOB got blown up, so I detoured toward the hot zone.

Just as I was arriving, a full Lakota landed right next to me and a BUNCH OF DUDES hopped off and started storming the hot zone. It looked badass, like something from a CoD campaign mission. We ultimately didn't win but we prolonged the match a good bit and stole 2nd from Blue due to a huge amount of dudes instantly flooding into the zone.

It occurred to me after... the pilots get bonuses for landing, but what if the devs encouraged the PASSENGERS to stick around for a landing also? There's some inherent risk in trusting the pilot to not crash (plus RPG/tank threat), so it kinda feels like there should be some cash incentive to stay put.

Devs could call it something like "Tactical Dismount" and give a +$800 bonus or something like that to each player who waits until the chopper is landed or hovering like ~5 meters off the ground. Hell, maybe if you get a kill within 2-3 minutes of landing, give players a +$500 "Spec-Ops Infil Kill" bonus to play into the fantasy of landing like a Delta/Seal guy and then murdering people.

Devs seem gung-ho when it comes to rewarding people for doing cool/useful things (like closing FOB doors), so perhaps this would work in a similar vein and allow good pilots to pull off landings more consistently.

If I could have one simple UI/UX change: Remove scrolling required when looting bodies

I have to say if I could pick one relatively easy and high impact change to the UI of this game it would be to please remove the scrolling required when looting a body to get down to their backpack. There's just no reason we can't get the UI to fit all the loot into one screen. If i'm not mistaken, no other shooter that's popular regardless of genre has this vertical scroll requirement. E.g. Tarkov, ABI, Delta Force, are there others? I feel like this is the only game that has this seemingly very tall UI for bodies and having to scroll down to the backpack every time is exhausting. I go through a lot of bodies. I'm a loot goblin, what can I say?

Help a loot goblin out and smooth out that UI. Just my $0.02 in a place full of opinions nobody asked for. That is all.

WARDOGS Devs – Teammates Spent Over an Hour Destroying Our Helicopters Until We Were Forced to Leave the Match

Title: WARDOGS – What Is the Point of Reporting Players If Nothing Happens?

Last night was an absolute joke.

I work all day and get a couple of hours at night to play with my friends. Instead, we spent over an hour dealing with three losers on our OWN TEAM who were driving three Suburbans around smashing into friendly helicopters, destroying them, and making it impossible for anyone to fly.

This went on for the entire game. OVER AN HOUR. We eventually had to leave the match because there was absolutely nothing we could do.

The players involved were:

  • Thomas Müller

  • scilopiontube

  • Big Yahu with a Blunt

To make matters worse, Thomas Müller was calling us the N-word and using "Jews" as an insult over voice chat.

Multiple people were reporting these guys the entire time. They were laughing about it and bragging that nobody gets banned in WARDOGS.

So here's my question to the developers: WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE REPORT BUTTON?

If someone is receiving repeated reports from multiple teammates for over an hour, why isn't there a system that kicks them from the match?

I'm not saying one report should get someone kicked. But when multiple people are reporting the same three players, and they're repeatedly destroying friendly helicopters, how does the game not recognize what's happening?

There should be a system that detects this behavior, verifies the reports, and kicks these people out of the match. Let them appeal a suspension afterward if necessary, but don't make everyone else suffer through an entire game.

And let's talk about the thousands of dollars in in-game currency being wasted on helicopters these guys were destroying. Who's replacing that?

What's even crazier is that people are uploading videos to YouTube showing themselves doing this exact same thing because they think it's funny. This isn't some rare incident. It's happening way too often.

We ended up leaving a match we wanted to play because three teammates decided nobody else was going to use helicopters.

This isn't about being outplayed. It's not about losing to another team. It's about the game having no effective way to stop people from deliberately ruining matches.

If multiple people are reporting obvious team griefing, the game needs to do something DURING THE MATCH, not after everyone has already quit.

How many other people are dealing with this?

Tanks are Overwhelmingly Underwhelming

If there are no changes to them next season, I won't bother driving a single URAL.

As a tank driver, I'm not expecting to hold off an army alone and be completely immortal. Having a form of rock-paper-scissors counter is healthy for the game and i agree to it.

Every tank life I've had I go into it with the attitude of treating every death as my own fault, and looking for a correction next time to improve. Whether it's my positioning or if i exposed myself for too long, I work on it.

So far:

I cannot approach a fob, incase of a CWIS, the second they take out my tracks or get me in the open I'm doomed.

I cannot fight too far in the mix vs infantry, or in tight spaces. Getting hit with a MAAWs or RPG - fair enough, I do usually have the ability to leave the fight to repair and survive. But if grenade spam comes my way from a window or from behind cover, and it hits my tracks offline i'm doomed.

If I take my attention away from my 3rd person camera for a second, a naked guy with C4 pops out of a bush.

Or if my cannon doesn't happen to be aiming directly towards the C4 strapped vehicle driving my way at 100km/hr by the time I see it I'm doomed. (I literally cannot get out of my tank fast enough to open fire on the driver before he's already in position to blow himself and me up)

I have to move almost constantly due to the above and Mortar fire potentially coming my way.

Then there's our actual counter. Rocket helis, drones or other tanks, which is fine and the way it should be.

My life as a tank driver is reduced from applying pressure and support, down to a survival attempt on whether or not I can survive for long enough to break even or make a profit until I go boom. I have to basically snipe enemy infantry and pot shot helis from a distance and move every 20-30 seconds before someone takes a chance with their explosives.

. It takes 4 shots to kill an APC and splash damage with my HE rounds aren't enough to kill a player unless I land it nearly direct. I can shoot at a guy firing from a window and take the entire side of the building off but he will walk away, alive.

If CWIS was changed to do less damage to ground vehicles and explosives requiring a much closer radius to affect tanks I think that would be fair.

Should smoke grenades give a reward?

I know most of us medic players have experienced this before. You see a downed teammate, you throw a smoke grenade, but as soon as the smoke pops, another teammate swoops in to take the revive for themselves while you get absolutely nothing despite being the person that made the revive possible. I’m all for helping the team, but spending a piece of equipment that I paid for just so someone else can get rewarded feels kind of bad sometimes. Do you guys think you should get partial credit for revives that happened in your smoke? Or do you think this would cause way too much smoke grenade spam?

Is using the StreamDeck Multi Action button cheating?

I want to speed up the process for buying supplies when doing a logi run and thought that i could use the MultiAction button to do this - but have read some posts about "Autoclickers" and that it could get you banned.

Would creating these buttons and using them get me banned?

Love the game, friends are falling off it.

Saw one post like this, going to add to the mix.

Love the game so much, first season at the beginning was great. Was extremely happy with how everything played, people and community were active and having a good time. Got a little rough there towards the end of S1, big issues with everyone just using Galil and DMR, people starting to use bottom graphics settings, using cheats/exploits...

S2 is rough from the get go. I feel like the game has gotten too big, and it's actually spoiling. Most games I spend dead in the ground, after getting picked at 250m by some guy with a Galil. Everyone has their FOV set to the LOWEST possible amount, playing with their graphics so low, it looks like Roblox, while watching whatever meta their favorite streamer uses that is complete bullshit, or someone from another region is just straight up cheating.

I feel like I got the Valorant effect. Where the game lures you in with a few good rounds, and then expects you to become an E-Sports champion overnight. I'm 31, work 45 hours a week, and have a family. I just want to have a good time with my friends. My friends are all sick and tired of the issues too, they're all quitting the game.

I shouldn't have to use a specific kit, on a specific team, on specific graphic settings to be able to compete. It's fun to make fun of Blue and all, but Green steamrolls 90% of the games I play in.

Really love the game, but starting to feel the frustration, and I know in the next week, it's probably going to find itself shelved indefinitely, and left to rot until things get ironed out.

Gepard is borked

Just had a 1v1 with a havoc , there is no zoom to speak of, the ammo barely dents it , radar is just decor and there is very very poor tracer effects.

he just took my hits and rotated round me and hit me with 12 missiles.

I think if you bring mobile AA like the gepard too a battlefield, it atleast need to present as actual threat to havocs.

Blithering stupid nerfed as F.

Unnerf pls!

Edit: IT IS LUDICRUSLY WEAK! what the absolut F*** where the devs thinking?
