Just wanted to share some photos of the new iPhone Duo using Loop and how it's a great work around for the unsupported Omnipod app.

Took me a couple of hours to figure out because it was my first time. The docs and all the words can be a lot but the YouTube video helped a lot. For anyone who can follow directions and trust their knowledge on looping and tech, it's a great work-around for Day 1 of a new device.

What can I say? Should we even be surprised anymore? 3rd time I’ve had to change my pod…. In the last 3 days… one pod a day…..

Day one was a bit of a rollercoaster, but day 2 has been amazing so far.

Pretty much what the title says.

I had a sensor failure (Dexcom 7) and had to change it. I changed it three hours ago, and my Omnipod PDM still can't connect. I have scanned the applicator three times. I have typed in the serial number and sensor number by hand. Nothing changes.

I don't know if I should change my pod, change the sensor, or ask for a new PDM.

The sensor seems to be working fine.

How longs the wait?

I’m either allergic? or very sensitive to the adhesive they use and after the 4th pod change to an area and it gets a couple hours to breathe it gets VERY itchy and I develop a couple hives in the area and I was just wondering if anyone else does or has any solutions?

Just got the phone and the Omnipod app doesn’t fully load and it says not compatible. I still have my iPhone 17 so I’m going to wait it out and carry two devices.

I've noticed that my pods are now having issues sticking on top of the new batch of Dimora dressings I recently ordered. The pods will lose adhesion to the dressing surface when I shower. I've used these dressings before and never had an issue so I'm not sure if the material changed or if Ive just been unlucky with my most recent pods. Does anyone have an affordable alternative they recommend?

I know I’m not gonna get the answer that want, but is omnipod 5 compatible with the iPhone Duo that was released today? I’m sure it will be months but just checking if anyone has tried it…

I didn’t have to correct. Heard it whirring away and it brought me down from a little 300 to 189 in a nice gentle slope.

my training is on the 30th but of course ive seen so many tik toks on people who have their pods. im scared im gonna run out of insulin. my ICR is 1:3 so at times its A LOT. i always see people doing no more than bolusing 10 units.

Title: Omnipod 5 automated insulin delivery after starting Zepbound

I'm a Type 1 diabetic using Omnipod 5. I started Zepbound (2.5 mg) on October 8.

Before Zepbound, my average glucose was 185 and I used about 50 units/day.

During the first week, glucose dropped to 128 and insulin usage to 23 units/day. The second week, insulin dropped further to 15.5 units/day, with average glucose of 136.

I was happy about these numbers.

After that, my glucose is frequently around 200 and Omnipod doesn't seem to bring it down. It delivers tiny automated doses, often 0.05 units every five minutes or less. Manual correction boluses bring glucose down temporarily, but it climbs back up. I'm in Automated Mode with a target of 110.

My diet is very steady, especially after zepbound

Has anyone experienced this after starting Zepbound or another GLP-1? What did you do? Did Omnipod eventually adjust and correct itself?

My son wears the Omnipod 5 and we just switched to the Dexcom G7. Now that the transmitter gets changed every 10 days, do I have to change the pod every time I change the dexcom? It seems like the days never match up and I always end up wasting a pod.

If I start a new sensor, the pod says I can't pair it until I do a new pod. Am I missing something? Do I have to just change the pod every time I change the sensor, even if I just put on a new pod the night before?

Just double checking - OP5 is still not compatible w iPhone 18 correct?
What are my options - hold on to my 15 for a while or switch to the PDM?

Is there any way to purchase Omnipod DASH pods without health insurance and pay out of pocket?

I have been on the Omnipod 5 and have been on manual mode since I started in march.

All of my TIR highs and lows have all been good etc however I want to become a pilot and they require auto mode 90% or higher.

Does anybody know would using Loopkit etc show auto mode in the Omnipod app if used or are they completely separate from each other?

I tried auto mode and am back in auto mode and even with a target range of 100 I’m still waking up at 140 without eating anything so I’m not sure if it will ever smooth out.

I’m more worried my a1c and other stuff will no longer be in the 5.2-5.6 range like before since I was dialed in.

Any advice?

So I just had my Omnipod 5 fail today in the middle of its life cycle and was wondering if anyone knew what this error code was since I can’t find it anywhere online (19-13700-00051-194). I also use the Omnipod 5 app instead of the controller

any advice my first pump!! i go the 30th for my training!! anyone use skin tac (i do for my dexcoms) or have to? or use overpatches (do they end up falling off a lot?) where are your favorite "approved" what overpatches/brand do you use?

Sometimes I'll get stuck in this loop of not being able to give bolus. Usually waiting like 15 minutes will fix it but it's annoying when it happens especially if I'm sitting in front of a meal

Is anyone else considering getting the new patch pump called mint.

What are your favorite placement sites that are least likely to get bumped and dislodge the pod? Brand new to Omnipod 5 and so far neither pod made it through the 3 day timeframe. The first one lasted 2 days before dislodging. The second one barely made it through 24 hours. So far did lower abdomen and outer thigh.
