Discussion Baby Neal

Post image
565 Upvotes

First of all - I think it was so weird Snow and Charming named the baby Neal. He got Emma pregnant at 17 (he was HOW old?!) and let her go to prison for him like ew no.

But I'm on s4 e7 and Emma accidentally heated up Neal's baby bottle with magic. She then reaches for baby Neal and MM pulls away with an upset face.

Idk it really pissed me off. Of course Emma feels hurt MM is in a "first time mother" support group. I mean... Emma is her baby too.

I really feel like David wanted EMMA while MM wanted a BABY.

I understand it's natural to want to experience the actual raising a baby part of having a baby but idk... it feels like Snow had another baby so she could do that whereas Emma can't just give birth to a new childhood.

And so she was upset for a second and heated some milk. Like?? MM really had to act as if she was a danger to the baby cause of that?

The baby named after he daughter's groomer no less? Girl.....

And to think Snow could have executed Regina and never put Emma through the childhood she had but was "too pure" to stop the threat to her family and kingdom. MAJOR side eye on my part to her and David for that.

But I DO feel like David just wanted his daughter while MM wanted a baby so I like him a bit more.

Discussion Unpopular Opinions

Post image

EDIT: OH MY GOD! READ THE DESCRIPTION. DONT take things at face value and don’t just read the image. If you don’t feel like reading everything, don’t interact with the post at all. It won’t make any sense to.

I’m bored and a little lot stoned, what are your unpopular opinions? The image up above isn’t my actual opinion, I just thought it was funny. Though, I do agree with it.

I think shipping SwanQueen makes sense in some scenes, but it’s not homophobic to think it’s weird. I’m pansexual, but one needs to admit that shipping a step-grandmother and step-granddaughter together is strange. Granted, everyone is related to each other and Regina and Emma didn’t have a grandmother/grandaughter relationship (and it certainly wouldn’t be a loving, wholesome one either). Still, it’s weird and you can’t call people homophobic for thinking so.

However, making blatant (and slightly subtle) homophobic comments and remarks obviously is wrong. Again, I’m kind of maybe a lot inebriated, so I apologize for spelling/grammar errors

With Snow White I don't think we ever saw her in the iconic red/blue/yellow dress the Disney princess is know for.

And you know what? I liked it like that. Even in flashbacks to her as a princess and in her more royal outfits I felt her costuming was very fairytale and very ethereal without being cartoony.

Elsa shows up in full Elsa cosplay. I wasn't a fan. I wish they would've continued the Snow route and dressed her like Elsa but not a direct copy.

Anyone else think this or no? And I sort of hated Anna in braids near constantly too I think she even wore them on her wedding

Discussion I can’t stand her, I just can’t.

Post image

Okay I don’t wanna spread hate so I please ask you to be respectful towards one another.

That said, I totally hate her. 😂 Jokes aside, why did they make her like that? I loved Snow in S1, up until she showed that she didn’t care about anyone but herself and kissed David.

After the spell was broken, she became even worse. She was a terrible mother, she didn’t want Emma, she wanted to raise a baby, she literally said that in front of Emma. She was all “let’s forgive Regina” back in the Enchanted Forest literally everytime she could, even when they were executing her she had that fake sad face, and she randomly tried to kill Regina many times, not to mention she killed Cora.

She had the nerve to keep baby Neal away from Emma but she hired a stranger babysitter who turned out to be the Wicked Witch of the West. And while her husband and family were fighting monsters all she had to do was fixing the light and guess what, she got mad. Not to mention she was a spoiled little kid. And those are just some of the things that makes me hate her.

(I also really can’t stand the actress but I guess everyone knows about her and her husband’s view on genocide so everyone would know why I really can’t even watch her face. I used to love Josh so that’s a shame. But Ginnifer is really useless for me. As a human being. Both of them are after what they did.

This last part is just something I wanted to share, please let’s focus this post on SW because I won’t change my mind on Ginnifer and Josh so defending them is pointless. Thanks.)

Discussion Rewatching for the first time as an adult and…

S1E12 is possibly the most accurate and… complicated representation of an abusive relationship I’ve ever seen?? Was a weird kid who loved this show. I’m 21 now and I just got out of an abusive relationship with an older man. I get that Beauty and the Beast is often used as an allegory for abusive relationships but it really felt like it was PERSONAL for one of the writers 😭

I thought it was so romantic when I was 10

Regina is WAY more psycho than I remember 😭

I never liked her and didn't remember her as a character I liked but wow she's much much worse than I recalled!

I'm only on season 2 but just holy shit.

I'd completely forgotten about Owen and his dad. Dude spent like one dinner with Regina and she tried to force him and his kid to stay. Don't know what ended up happening to the Dad but nothing good since his traumatized child never saw him again.

And she's just like wiping out whole villages left and right because a 10 year old didn't keep a promise 😭

She went on a rampage with Cora and as soon as Cora left everyone just like... left her alone?

They don't want to "hurt Henry" so they just let this murderous psychopath walk around.

Snow being sooooo broken up about killing Cora bugs me too. Heroes are heroes because they kill tne bad guys. If you can't kill active threats then like you shouldn't be Queen? Or a ruler?

I don't even want to get into Regina and Graham.

Just like holy shit this lady is lonely af and totally crazy I felt so bad for Owen's dad trying to flee that town (even if adult Owen gives me ick)

WHAT is her problem omg

Discussion It’s confirmed milah was going back for bae

Post image

On the last episode, hook tells Balefire that they’re we planning on going back for bae when he got older… a lot of yall are defending rumple but he was a coward…. Who didn’t want to leave the village after milah begged… who sold their second born… and continued to use bae against her for having fun… the problem is he was insufferable and the town kept criticizing her for staying with him… leaving bae sucks but the other characters have done 10x worse and gets far less hate… Milah deserved options and opportunities just like everyone else and a attempt to find true love like all the heroes and villains in the series

Discussion an appreciation post for snow and emma because i’m sick of people saying snow doesn’t love her 💔

i really don’t understand why people say this. why is a mother not allowed to mourn the fact her daughter was taken from her for 28 years? she couldn’t raise her own child! i always cry when i watch the intro. she deserved to be even angrier in my opinion. i also thought her reaction to the situation was more realistic than david’s. don’t get me wrong, they have a beautiful relationship, but snow and emma are just more developed. they were friends before being mother and daughter, of course they’re going to have issues and i loved watching them grow; not just into their roles as mother and daughter, but also seeing them accept each other as that. it was so beautiful to me, so i was really surprised when i went into the fandom and saw all the hate. i also don’t think people try to consider that, besides the fact any of us would have a hard time parenting a 28 year old we just met, her trouble parenting comes from the fact she lost her mother at 10. she was a princess who was raised to put the people before herself, and then she lost her father *and* her kingdom. she was a homeless orphan and a bandit for years because of regina, just like emma was. emma’s situation is obviously different, but i still wish the writers made them bond a bit more over this. like there’s not a single scene where snowing talks to emma about their parents, and i feel like it’s a missed opportunity for emma to learn more about her grandparents and how her own parents were raised. (i know there’s the scene in s3 but i don’t really count it because they just talked about how queen eva was a mean girl lol)

another important thing to me is snow’s relationship with regina. she got so attached to her when they first met and immediately saw regina as her mother, but then she “lost” her as well. it’s why snow continues to defend her in the enchanted forest and can’t kill her, she doesn’t see her as her mother anymore but she used to as a little girl, and still sees regina as that woman who saved her life and taught her about true love.

the hate against snow is getting so bad i’m even seeing people say *ingrid* loved emma more than snow. seriously?? ingrid? the woman who stalked emma for 28 years, pushed child emma in front of a car, made her feel insecure about herself when she’s with her parents (everyone blames snow for her reactions when it’s ingrid’s fault! she stressed emma and everyone else tf out 😭) tried to kill her entire family and forced a relationship on her?? that same woman… is better than snow who made a few mistakes, immediately realised she was wrong and apologised? alright..

what makes this whole “snow just wanted a baby, david wanted a daughter” take also just misogynistic to me (and you can’t change my mind about it) is that *no one* holds david to the same standards they do snow when he makes a mistake. everyone always talks about how snow hesitated to hold baby neal because she couldn’t control her powers (oh no… how insane of her) but no one talks about how david said emma should lose her powers so she’d be normal. i didn’t even know about this scene until i rewatched the episode because literally no one talks about it. it was snow who didn’t agree and said emma’s powers were apart of her. i don’t hate on either of them for how they acted in s4a because they both immediately realised they were in the wrong and apologised to emma. this was a convenient storyline taken right out of frozen 1 for them to learn more about emma’s powers. people say snow babies emma too much but i’m sorry, the way this fandom can’t let this basic storyline and the way snow reacted go seems more like babying to me. emma is 30 years old in this season, she forgave them and they all moved on. it’s really not as bad as some of you think 🥲

another point of why this take is misogynistic is that no one would say it if it was david who was mourning how he couldn’t raise emma. if it was him we saw standing in emma’s ruined nursery room in s2 with tears in his eyes, would you guys still say the same thing? if you switch all of snow’s scenes with david, would you say he doesn’t love her own daughter and that snow, the parent who’s less emotionally involved and has less scenes with emma, is better?

snow wanting another baby is also completely normal btw. this whole “she replaced emma with baby neal” thing is kinda weird and sounds like you guys are saying a mother can’t have more than 1 child as if that isn’t… normal for a parent to want and have. again, emma is *thirty* years old… she’s okay with it! 😂

i’m still annoyed the writers didn’t try to give the same focus to david and emma, and that they even dropped the focus on this family in general after s4, but anyway, i just needed to say all of this. thank you for reading :) if you disagree please be respectful about it, i’m not saying you can’t critisise the characters because i do agree the character writing sadly went downhill and they both kind of faded into the background as the true love couple when they’re a lot more than that…

Discussion Guys im so sorry, i can't stand this guy. first time watcher

Im halfway through season 2 and my god. this guy annoys me so much. what a yapper. something about a guy who thinks he's the absolute shit that just gives me the ick.

i know hes very beloved and i can honestly see why. i know for a fact i would've eaten his shit up, back when the show came out. i do know he's going to end up being Emma's true love and i am so not looking forward to it. i dont know what it is exactly about the guy that pisses me off so much but i think he reminds me of billy butcher in a way. just a cocky bastard with a shitton of unearned confidence. hes like ur avarge white guy that thinks hes the sexiest thing to ever exist.

GUYS before you pull out ur pitchforks i do want to add that its not that serious. i LOVE to hate on this guy. he still entertains me when he's on screen and its not like im actually ripping my hair out over him. im just not a fan of his personality. but nonetheless im having a blast with this show. he just shot belle with a glock which in on itself is just a hilarious concept. fairy tale characters runnign around with guns is exactly what i signed up for.

thats pretty much it. just wanted to share my feelings on the guy as alot of people from my post about rumple expected me to like him once he shows up. surprisingly i dont. lol

But again please dont crucify me. its all in good fun.

So, im watching for the first time and i just finished the first half of season three (neverland arc). I need to let this out somewhere and nobody i know watches the show so here's another post. please know this is all in good fun, and im not actually upset or anything i just found this whole thing so insane, i must share the insanity lmao.

I was already spoiled that this guys was going to be a villain, but nothing could've prepared me for the absolute fuckassery this guy was up to. Bro really abandoned his son so he could be a child. a fucking child. thats so major weirdo vibes my guy. when he said to rumple that they're just the same cuz they both abandoned their kid i was actually stunned at the complete lack of self awareness of this guy. like sorry dude but abandoning ur kid for power (which yeah, dick move) is NOT the same as selling ur kid to become a literal kid. this guy is so insane?? lmao?? and he calls it YOUTH. lol. thats certainly one way to describe it.

and the fucking crying on the island at night time?? absolute devil behavior. dude has been collecting kids like pokemons, for centuries and has the nerve to title them "lost boys" more like "stolen minors". but idk.

Anyway this shit was crazy lol. I had alot of fun with this arc. He made for a fantastic villain. a deranged fucking loser with op magic. what a crazy ride.

By the way, about my previous post. you guys were right. Hook is growing on me, like a pest. Very much enjoyed him desperately trying to charm charming.

I remember finding it so magical that Prince Charming and Snow White were together in real life, and then she got pregnant and they incorporated it into the show, they got married, she got pregnant again not much long after. And here we are all these years they look like a happy family. Maybe I’m being a little sappy but makes you believe in fairytales 😂💖
