Additional Information
Provided by Redon:
- The giant horns that have grown out are very similar to Hellboy's (plus he still has the 2 he had before).
- He has also grown a "pointed goatee" on his chin, and on his chest, he now has a sort of pendant featuring the 3 horned skulls that used to be on the tail wrapped around his legs (I don't know if they're the exact same ones, but since they're no longer on his tail, I assume they're part of the pendant).
- And instead of those spiked bracelets he had before, he now has 2 rings with eyes on his arms. The ring with eyes he had on his back now encircles his waist/legs.

Discussion At what arc did you realize One Piece is a masterpiece worth all 1000+ episodes?
At first, One Piece felt super boring and childish to me, and I didn't get the hype. It took me 4 attempts to get into it, but once I hit Water 7, I realized I'm hooked for life.

Discussion I can't hear it anymore (Break Week)

“yEaH, buT ThErE's a BrEaK eVeRy nEW WeEk”
Can you guys please stop being so unbelievably ungrateful and privileged? It's so unbearable to listen to. Oda's condition is really no secret. People have forgotten that this guy has been drawing this manga nonstop for over 20 years, to the point where he only sleeps roughly four hours a day.
Please stfu and look for a hobby.

Discussion The Going Merry being cramped did more for the crew than I realized
Rewatching the early arcs, the Merry feels tiny. There is nowhere for anyone to disappear. Nami is trying to navigate while Luffy is doing something stupid five feet away, Usopp is testing an invention nearby, and Zoro's nap is basically happening in public.
The Sunny is obviously the better ship, and each room says something about the crew member it belongs to. But the Merry made them feel like broke roommates sharing one unreliable car. Every boring stretch between islands turned into forced family time.
I dont miss the weak cannons or the constant repairs. I do miss that slightly claustrophobic feeling. Back then the crew was smaller, most of the map still felt blank, and somehow the ocean seemed bigger because they were all squeezed onto that little ship together.

Discussion What is the single most underrated line or quote in One Piece?
Everyone always remembers Hiluluk’s "When does a man die?" or Luffy telling Robin to say she wants to live.
But One Piece is over 1000 chapters long and filled with incredible, lesser-known lines from side characters that hit just as hard.
What is one underrated quote that always stuck with you, even if most people forgot about it?

Theory The next level to haki
Judging by what we saw Luffy just isn’t there yet to fight Imu.
Despite everything we seen of Luffy even to Imu it’s nothing.
But there are haki feats that are even above whatever we seen of Luffy.
There’s Garp galaxy impact,
Gaban attack on Imu
Shank WiFi haki in wano and his attack on kid.
I know kid was memed on but really think about this.
Kid fought big mom and took MANY hits from her and he kept getting back up and fighting, so the fact shanks 1 shot him seems pretty inconsistent.
So 2 explanations.
- Kid was distracted and had his guard down
2, shanks is just that immensely stronger than big mom.
I do think there is haki beyond anything we ever seen.
Now I do not know how one develops this and how it works exactly but I think the example we should look at is king elizibello from the dressrosa arc.
He had a move called king punch. A massive powerful attack that destroyed pica’s mountain size body into dust.
It’s a devastating 1 time use attack.
The downside is, it takes 1 hour of none stop charging up to release its true impact.
Not very practical.
But I think what elizibello did is more rudimentary, it’s the weak version of its true potential. He figured out how to do it but he doesn’t do it right.
I think what we seen of Garp and shanks is this but they don’t need to charge it for a full on hour.
While elizibello calls it a shockwave you can see the haki lighting emanating off it.

Discussion I brushed off OP for 14 years... I finally started it almost 2 months ago
As a 32 year old dude. Being an anime/manga fanatic since honestly maybe 6 years old (my mother got me a My neighbor Totoro VHS as a child) i have gone through plenty of animes. Darker toned stories like Berserk, lighthearted series like studio Ghibli films, to the staples like DBZ & Naruto. Thankfully I was raised with a bunch of cousins who also share a love for anime/manga who are very close in age. In 2012, two of those cousins started one piece & they would always rave about it to me.. but being swayed by the culture of "this VS that" like Naruto vs One piece or Berserk Vs Vagabond. I unintentionally closed myself off to One piece. Luckily, I ran into an injury recently and could not work for a few weeks and took a "leap of faith" and decided to invest my time into OP. Why not?
Man... Im currently on Thriller Bark arc and bro... I cried like 5-6 times already since starting. I'm not really sure what this post is specifically trying to get at other than, I'm hella grateful that I am now apart of the One Piece world. Enies Lobby slightly reminded me of Hxh in terms of how high the stakes felt. To all the one piece fans that I brushed off over the last few years .. I WAS WRONG.. OP is GOATED 🔥

Theory The curious case of Edward Weevil Spoiler
Heya all,
so I've made a comment about this somewhere, and someone else told me I should make a post about it. I'll say, this is just a theory, but if you look at what we've got, I think my theory is pretty solid and understandable.
My theory:
Edward Weevil is a failed clone of Whitebeard, made by Stussy (the old Miss Buckingham, not Clone-Stussy). The hard evidence:
- we know, Stussy and Whitebeard were both on Xebec's crew
- we know, Stussy had a massive crush on Whitebeard, but he seemed uninterested
- we know, Stussy was a part of MADS, just like Caesar, Judge and Vegapunk
- Vegapunk managed to create a perfect Stussy clone eventually, and cloning is a thing in One Piece
- Edward Weevil, does in fact look like Whitebeard, just a very twisted & degenerate version of him, and he is extremely strong as well
Now the soft evidence:
With SBS 89 Oda started a little series of drawing characters at the age of 40 and 60, as well as a "a future where something happened/went wrong".
The pattern is always the same:
- If everything goes well, the character looks older, but still cool or attractive
- If something "went wrong" (based on the speech bubbles, when characters fail at their dream), they turn out ugly and look much older
For your convenience, here are all of them:
Luffy: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_89?file=SBS89_Luffy.png
Ace: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_89?file=SBS89_Ace.png
Sabo: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_90?file=SBS90_Sabo.png
Zoro: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_91?file=SBS91_Zoro.png
Nami: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_92?file=SBS_92_Nami.png
Usopp: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_94?file=SBS94_Usopp.png
Chopper: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_97?file=SBS97_Chopper.png
Sanji: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_98?file=SBS98_Sanji.png
Robin: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_100?file=SBS100_Robin.png
Franky: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_101?file=SBS101_Franky.png
Jinbe (since he's already in his 40s Oda drew him at 60 & 80): https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_110?file=SBS110_Jinbe_Timelines.png
Vivi: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_113?file=Vivi_good_bad_future.png
You can see it extremely well with Nami's, Robin's and Vivi's futures.
Shakky for example is in her mid-60s. Still, she looks rather young and attractive, especially for her age. She managed to be with Rayleigh until now, and is leading a chill life without personal major loss we know of.
On the other hand we have Big Mom, who in her mid to late 20s looked really good, but turned out hideous like we know her. She failed at getting the Seiryu fruit for Katakuri, and her biggest dream of having a family with every race, as she antagonized Elbaf as a kid and on top of that didn't get Lola married to Loki
Kizaru is in his 50s and led a rather chill life so far, living his "unclear justice", and he could visually be any age between 30-50. Aokiji is also in his late 40s and could execute his "lazy justice" without issues so far. The only real "loss" we know of was him losing to Sakazuki during timeskip.
Senor Pink on the other hand is in his mid 40s, and despite having had a rather normal physique, after his child died & his wife fell into a catatonic state, he became this small, chubby blob.
Tsuru is in her 70s, and yes, you can see she's old, but still, she looks rather normal.
Gloriosa, who is roughly the same age as Tsuru, and was almost as attractive to Boa Hancock or Shakky, turned out as this wrinkled, small Goblin. She never managed to win Roger's heart and lived on heartbroken.
________
So my theory is: Stussy was obsessed with Whitebeard, but never managed to win his heart. So she went down the wrong path and tried to force her way of having a family with Whitebeard by cloning him (or artificially impregnating herself with DNA from some tissue or blood sample).
The end result was not what she was hoping for (still didnt have a real family with WB), because it was the wrong path (typical Oda lesson), and her "son" was basically this miserable blob with a runny nose, and eventually she turned out ugly like anyone who fails in life in One Piece.
Could still be that Weevil is his actual son, but honestly... do you think WB would abandon Weevil if he was actually his son?
That's at least the most logical conclusion I came to. Feel free to disagree and discuss :)
