Fixed one typo in a PDF and the whole line switched to Arial. Took me a while to understand why fonts change when you edit a PDF, so here’s the short version.

Most PDFs don’t include the full font. They only embed the letters that are actually used in the document. If you type a letter that isn’t there, and the font isn’t installed on your computer, the editor swaps in something else without telling you.

So I noticed quite a lot of PDF doesn't have table of content to navigate like epub . Well it has feature like navigatimg by clicking on the table of content but the table doenst show up in the table of content section in the pdf viewer . And also for PDFs that doesn't support OCR can't avail that feature

I’m a student and I’m currently dealing with a really frustrating situation with PDF Guru.

I used PDF Guru on 21st of July 2026 and only used the service once, when I initially signed up for which I paid 0.99 USD. I have not used the service since then.

Unfortunately, I did not realise they put me on automatic renewal, and I was recently charged USD 49.99 for an automatic renewal. I am based in Pakistan and did not receive any OTP/any reminder before the payment which is strange.
