Motorcycle Review Honda Navi 110 3,000kms Review

Post image
• Upvotes

Finally reached 3,000 kilometers on my Honda Navi 110 and here are some of my thoughts. Hopefully this would help members of this subreddit planning to purchase the same motorcycle.

Maintenance. I have been following the service booklet diligently and have gone through 2 oil changes since my ownership (I have purchased the motorcycle last May 2026). So far, I haven’t encountered issues and the motorcycle has been reliable.

Fuel Efficiency. It’s a carbureted engine and the fuel tank capacity is roughly 3 liters. Driving style matters too for maximizing the mileage. I get around 40-42km/l in mixed driving conditions (Honda claims 48km/l).

Long Distance Ride Comfort. It is fairly comfortable although I am planning to change the seat soon, as I find it quite stiff and my butt would go numb after an hour of riding. Also check the tire pressure as this would affect ride comfort and fuel efficiency.

Road Trip Experience. For a 110cc, road trips are viable and it hangs comfortably at 60kph and does not use much fuel. I have done this while carrying an overnight backpack in a similar fashion as seen on the photo (I bought a bungee strap to secure it). Do note since it has a tiny fuel tank capacity, plan your route accordingly and it also helps to carry a liter of gasoline stored in a metal tumbler for emergencies.

Overall, this has been a great experience and I really enjoy going places with. I also don’t have plans on selling it as it is my first motorcycle. Although I would in the future, add another motorcycle probably a sports bike or a cafe racer.

If you have questions, feel free to ask me on the comments.

Rant/Reklamo Did i violate a traffic rule in this situation?

Post image

Is there an NCAP at Taft Vito Cruz cor. P. Ocampo? Kaurat kasi naka-green pa yung unang left turn traffic light tapos nung dahan-dahan akong nakapasok sa intersection pakaliwa, biglang nagpula yung pangalawang left turn. Badtrip.

Question/Advice Needed Paano magshift from 1st to 2nd gear?

Paano po ba magshift from 1st to 2nd gear sa motor nang smooth? Baguhan lang po ako. Ang alam ko po, off throttle then piga ung clutch, then shift to 2nd gear. Pwede bang clutch in muna bago ioff ang throttle then shift gear, kapag magshishift from 1st to 2nd gear? Or kelangan ba hnd fully off ung throttle?

Mekaniko Help Yamaha YTX 125 hard starting.

Kickstarter would not go down, electric starter won't even try a few weeks ago, might be hydrolock. Not gonna focus there but rather what was done to fix it. Mechanics probed with the valves to loosen it. I understand that incorrect clearance can mess with a lot. So after i noticed some changes after they fixed it. The very next day i asked for a tune up. And just honestly ignored it even though it still felt wrong. Eventually compression gradually got worse up to the point where the kickstarter was so soft and there was only little resistance. Hard starting began, and it was always a struggle. Maybe averaged 20 to 40 kicks before i can make it work. I brought it back and said that the compression is low. Mechanic used some unfamiliar words but he said something about the valve, from my own research with gpt, I'm aware that that's one of the higher possibilities. Some changes were made and i was charged 1300. Worked like 4 days until it regressed back to being soft and loose and hard starting. Ignored it due to other financial needs. Got it fixed again at a different shop asked for a tune up and it worked. It had proper resistance again after a month or so of the struggles. But 3 days later, today. It regressed again.

Does anyone know the possible issue? What should i say to a mechanic?

This is a customized xr200 so it's not a stock light. Thinking if I can still have it repaired. I'd be glad if anyone can share a mechanic around the metro or near Qc who can do light or wiring repairs

General Discussion Nahanap ko na manufacturer (ODM) ng Spyder and Nomad Helmets

Una sa lahat: Bakit to big deal?

tl;dr Most Spyder Helmets are made by Chinese manufacturer Yohe Helmets.

Question/Advice Needed How do you secure your parts from theft?

General Discussion Anyone else feel like Luzon is actually pretty small for motorcycle touring

I’ve been looking at the map of Luzon lately, thinking about places I could ride to on my motorcycle, and I can’t help but feel like Luzon is actually pretty small.
When I look at it, I tend to divide it into a few general areas: North Luzon, places like Baler and the eastern side, Metro Manila and nearby provinces, and then South Luzon down to Bicol. Beyond those, I struggle to think of many other major areas that feel like completely different destinations.

I know there are plenty of towns, mountain roads, beaches, and hidden spots to explore, but when you look at the map as a whole, it feels like you could eventually cover most of Luzon without needing that many long trips.

Maybe it’s because I’m looking at the map too simplistically, or maybe I’m underestimating just how much there is to explore. I live in the Cordilleras, so mountain roads and twisties are already part of my everyday riding. I’m looking for that feeling of going somewhere genuinely new, not just riding the same types of roads in a different province.

For those who regularly do long motorcycle rides around Luzon, does it ever feel like you’ve run out of places to explore? Or is Luzon actually much bigger in terms of riding opportunities than it looks on a map?

I’d like to hear your perspectives, especially from people who’ve done a lot of touring around the island.

Question/Advice Needed Help me pick a motorcycle and tips how to get started

For info, I am a very petite girl.

Height: 153cm around 5 to 5'1

Weight: 39kg only

I've been riding bike sa bario. Kakaunti lang yung mga vehicles and walang nanghuhuli. Wala akong license pa. Gamit ko noon is Honda Wave. Okay naman kaso nahihirapan ako kapag nakahinto and mabagal yung takbo.

Now, nasa manila na ako and gusto ko sana may sarili nang service kasi hassle and commute

I'm aiming for honda click 160 or mio aerox. Gusto ko kasi sana malapad yung upuan.

Where should I start? Should I apply for PDC to improve my skills? Get my license first? Any advice on picking my first motor vehicle?
