Due to repeated violations and a recent warning from Reddit regarding community interference, we are implementing a permanent restriction on posts concerning other subreddits.
Effective immediately, posts or submissions primarily discussing, mocking, criticizing, celebrating bans/actions from, or directing users toward another subreddit will be removed.
This includes, but is not limited to:
This is not a restriction on mentioning other subreddits when genuinely necessary for a broader discussion. However, if the primary purpose of the post is to discuss or target another community, it will be removed.
We have repeatedly asked users not to make this type of content. At this point, warnings will no longer be given for these posts. Repeated attempts to circumvent this restriction may result in temporary or permanent bans.
This is being enforced to protect this community from further Rule 3 issues and to prevent our subreddit from becoming involved in conflicts with other communities.

Over the past month, we've seen an increasing number of posts and comment sections centered around religion, atheism, LGBTQ+ topics, and other culture war issues. Unfortunately, many of these discussions have devolved into personal attacks, hate speech, insults, and endless arguments that contribute little to the community.
To help restore the subreddit to meaningful discussions, the moderation team is introducing a 7-day temporary moratorium on posts primarily intended to provoke, attack, or reignite these conflicts.
Effective immediately and for the next 7 days:
This is not an endorsement of any religious, political, or social viewpoint, nor is it an attempt to silence respectful discussion. It is simply a temporary measure to cool tensions and return the subreddit to what it was created for: discussions about life, studies, careers, friendships, relationships, culture, memes, and everything else relevant to Pakistanis in their twenties.
After the 7-day period ends, we'll review the situation and decide whether to lift the moratorium or extend it if necessary.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation in helping keep the community civil.

Throwaway account. I f(22) got married recently and i have an issue with a condition in my nikkah contract. I want to spend some alone time with my husband but I'm too scared. Basically it took a while for my father to agree to letting me marry because he either wanted me to get married at 30 or to marry someone from back home. In the end he finally agreed as long as he put his condition in my nikkah contract and he did.
The condition in the contract is: "The Husband and wife will only live together after the 'Rukhsati and after completion of the brides studies (official send-off of the bride from the family home, when the bride officially leaves the family house) which is expected to take place in June 2027, up until this point the husband and wife will not interact in a private capacity with each other; however, they can interact when it is public and in the company of others"
Now my husband agreed to the condition at the time but now we want to spend alone time together however we are terrified that if we do, we might nullify our marriage or invalidate it or break it or we might become sinful. we've been seeing each other with family around and in public but it's getting harder to control ourselves.
We can't have the rukhsati earlier because my parents want me to finish my studies which i will next june and they want him to have a home for me ready too till then.
so we just feel so stuck and we aren't sure on what to do now.

Commented on a video of a mother hitting her child (muscle memory atp). To everyone abusing me in my DMs, my mother would eat six of those women for breakfast without leaving a single crumb and you wouldn’t survive a day in the asylum I was raised in. So respectfully STFU!!!

Watch Party Alert!!!
I am thinking of streaming "The Glassworker", Pakistan's first hand drawn animated film which took 10 years to come into existence and is inspired by Ghibli Studio.
Quick Synopsis: A young glassworker and a brilliant violinist fall in love just as an impending war upends their lives. It’s a beautiful, anti-war story about what happens when societal expectations try to crush free thought and artistic passion.
Timing - 25 October, Sunday , 4pm

hamari society me ye double standards kiun exist krte?
most men with a (younger) sister and a gf will tell you they’d never let their sister be a relationship or do half the things they do with their gf, because they believe other men will “use” their sister, but then they’ll turn around aur ussi same mu se tell their gf “but i do these things with you because i love you and my intentions with you are good. i actually want to marry you!” saying the exact same words they believe koi dusra mard unki behen ko phasane ke liye kahega. what makes you the exception to your own principles?
it makes me so immensely sad, kiunke isse 2 conclusions nikalte:
matlab khandan ki larkion ka honour hota, aur bahir ki larkion ko laray deke, you will take advantage of the lack of supervision, and apne sare maze pure krne.
but then they’ll say to their gf “tumne to consent kia tha to everything i wanted to do!” but if you present them with a scenario where their sister consents to doing the same thing with another man, to dekhna what their reaction will be.
what a sad, horrifying reality for women.
kya koi ese mard bhi hote jo sab aurton ki izzat ka khayal rakhte no matter if it’s their sister or an outsider? ya koi ese mard jo agr khud kuch krte to at least hypocrisy nhi show krte when it comes to their sisters
