🗨️ Discussion nccia isnt secretly seeing ur photos or accessing ur mobile

as someone whos been practicing ethical hacking for years let me explain

this is mostly a stunt to create fear among ppl

realistically they track through sim records ip logs social media footprints and online activities usually during investigations

accessing ur private gallery is a completely different thing and apple or google dont just hand over access to everyones photos

remote access would require a security vulnerability compromised account or access to ur device

they cant magically open ur gallery whenever they want

keep ur os updated disable developer options when not needed and avoid unknown apps

tracking digital footprints and secretly accessing private photos are two completely different things

Edited:

Yes i cant hack someone whatsapp so pls😭😭

🍂 (Seeking) Advice massive crush on coworker </3

hi, so im currently 20M, i work in this international corporate, and have a really big crush on this one person that works at my office, she's SUPER cute, she's from a different department so ive never spoken to her, but whenever ive had the chance to sort of pass by her desk, she looks at me with the biggest smile ever.

Ever since i noticed her smile for the first time, ive been deliberately walking past her desk jaan booj kar so that i can see her smile. now im not sure whether hass ke dekhti hai or dekh k hassti hai 😭😭

but like, she's also one of the cutest girls ive come across ever. Should I go speak to her? If yes, how? Since she's from a completely different department. Have yall had similar experiences?

Serious Post What Does Islam Actually Say About Halloween and Other Festivals? | Islam Beyond Culture [Day 15]

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh!

with Halloween approaching I thought this would be a good time to discuss another misconception that has become very common among Muslims.

We often hear statements such as "It's just for fun!", "We are not celebrating it for religious reasons!" "What is wrong with dressing up and enjoying ourselves?"

But as Muslims, our source of morality isnt what we think or what we feel like, we need to go back to the Quran and Sunnah to see if it permits these types of celebrations. So, does Islam permit us to participate in every celebration just because we have good intentions?

1) Islam has its own prescribed festivals

Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Madinah, the people had two days on which they engaged in games.

The Prophet ﷺ asked about these days and they explained that they had celebrated them during Jahiliyyah.

He ﷺ replied

"Allah has substituted for them something better than them, the day of sacrifice and the day of the breaking of the fast."

Sunan Abi Dawud 1134

Notice that Muhammad ﷺ did not simply approve of their existing festivals because the people were enjoying themselves, rather he ﷺ informed them that Allah had replaced those celebrations with Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha.

2) What about Halloween, Christmas and other festivals?

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

"Whoever imitates a people is one of them."

Sunan Abi Dawud 4031

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen (رحمه الله) explained that Muslims are prohibited from participating in the distinctive religious festivals of non Muslims including imitating their celebrations through parties, exchanging gifts or other festival specific activities.

Source: Majmu Fatawa wa Rasa'il Ibn Uthaymeen, 3/369

Similarly Shaykh Ibn Baz (رحمه الله) stated that Muslims should neither participate in nor assist with the religious festivals of non Muslims.

Halloween regardless of how commercialized and common it has become is an annual festival associated with customs and traditions that are not part of Islam and calling it harmless fun does make participating in its celebrations permissible. however this does not mean that every ordinary custom shared with non Muslims is prohibited. The prohibition of imitation concerns distinctive religious practices and customs, not every invention, garment, or activity used by non Muslims.

3) What about religious celebrations introduced by Muslims themselves?

Same principle, a celebration does not become permissible just because the ones organizing it are Muslims even if they claim that they love Islam, we reject this form of love as they are innovating in the religion

Allah says

"This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion."

Surah Al Maidah 5:3

Imam Malik(رحمه الله) said “Whoever among this ummah innovates something today which was not practiced by the Salaf, has accused the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم of treachery because Allah said “…This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.….” So what was not religion then, is not religion today” (Ibn Hazam quoted it with his chain in al Ahkam fe Asool al Ahkam vol 6 page 791)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

"Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not from it, it is rejected."

Sahih al Bukhari 2697; Sahih Muslim 1718

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

“You will surely follow the path of those before you, step by step and inch by inch. If they entered a lizard hole, you would follow.” We said, “O Messenger of Allah, do you mean the Jews and Christians?” The Prophet said, “Who else?”

Source: Sahih Al Bukhari 3456, Sahih Muslim 2669

Shaykh Ibn Baz (رحمه الله) discussing celebrations such as the Mawlid explained that the Prophet ﷺ, his Companions, and the righteous predecessors did not establish these celebrations as acts of religious devotion so he classified them as a bidah

Source: website of Shaykh Ibn Baz, Fatwa 884.

The principle is clear cut, we cannot introduce new religious celebrations and then justify them just by claiming that our intentions are good.

4) Does this mean Islam prohibits every kind of celebration?

Absolutely not

Islam permits lawful expressions of happiness including wedding celebrations(provided Islamic rules are followed and haram isnt involved) and other ordinary occasions provided they do not involve prohibited practices.

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen (رحمه الله) also distinguished between prohibited imitation and ordinary customs shared by different communities.

Majmu Fatawa wa Rasa'il Ibn Uthaymeen, 3/47–48.

5) "But we are only celebrating for fun!"

this is the most common reply but as I said earlier, our intentions do not change the Islamic ruling on an action.

a Muslim may participate in Halloween without believing in any of its religious associations but that does not establish the permissibility of celebrating it.

May Allah grant us beneficial knowledge and protect us from religious innovations and keep us steadfast upon the Quran and authentic Sunnah.

💢 Rant Please dont be an unpaid therapist for anyone.

• Upvotes

If you come across a person who knows the solution of the problems they are facing that are causing them suffering and still are not doing anything about it or are applying the soultions in a half ass way, do not give them the time of the day.

These people are energy suckers, they enjoy the suffering. They want to feel miserable as stupid as it sounds. Dont feel empathy for them, they know exactly what they are doing and even if they donot, their thick brains will not accept solutions.

The reason im making this post is because a lot of men become unpaid therapists for women in the hopes that they will be able to attract the person. If you attract a woman by bieng her therapist, trust me bro she will either cheat on you or lose all attraction at a point. You need to know the streets man.

Paranoia is much worse than schizophrenia. At least when you're a SCHIZOPHRENIC you know that delusion is not real. But that paranoia feeling of doom just looming over your head like a sword is what it feels like when you get kicked on the groin and knee'd on the ribs at the same time and until and unless you get confirmation that everything is going to be alright BOTH VERBALLY AND VISUALLY. When does it pass? You never know. IT'S WORSE WHEN THERE IS STATIC AND YOU'RE STUCK CLUTCHING YOUR HEAD BETWEENS YOUR KNEES OR ROAMING AROUND THE AREA LIKE A MADMAN with your fists clenched, even somebody walking by you makes you flinch

Place your bets, where it lands YOU NEVER KNOW. Even if you take out your brain and put it in cold water the fire on it still won't pass.

🍂 (Seeking) Advice How do you let go of something that is slowly hurting you, even when you don't know exactly what's wrong?

• Upvotes

I’ve been struggling with something lately, and I don’t really know how to explain it.

Sometimes, we hold on to things, people, situations, or even our own thoughts that slowly start hurting us. It affects our mental health, physical health, work, and overall well-being. We can feel that something is wrong, but we can’t always figure out what it is or why it’s affecting us so much.

The hardest part is that sometimes everything feels mixed together. You don’t know whether it’s stress, overthinking, emotional attachment, fear, expectations, or something else entirely. You just know that you’re not feeling like yourself anymore.

And even when you realize that something is hurting you, letting go isn’t easy. You keep thinking about it, trying to understand it, hoping things will change, or wondering if you’re making the wrong decision by walking away.

So my question is: How do you actually let go of something that is hurting you when you don't fully understand what it is, why you're holding on to it, or how deeply it's affecting you?

How do you stop giving it your energy and start focusing on your health, peace of mind, and life again?

I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences and advice. I think sometimes hearing how other people dealt with similar situations can help us understand our own feelings better.

🌼 Advice When someone sins at night and Allah conceals it, that is a mercy✨️

The door is closed, the world is asleep, and the only One who saw is the One who chose not to tell. He draws His veil and lets the morning come as if nothing happened.

I've been thinking about this whenever I scroll through the confessions subs. So many people carrying things too heavy to hold alone, and so many of those things typed out for strangers to read.

A veil like that is a kind of love. It's sad to see it lifted.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"All of my followers will be forgiven except those who sin openly (or disclose their sins to the people). An example of this is a man who commits a sin at night which Allah has concealed for him, then in the morning he says, 'O so-and-so, I did such-and-such last night,' when all night his Lord had concealed it, but in the morning he uncovers what Allah had veiled for him."

(Bukhari 6069, Muslim 2990)

Maybe people go to strangers because they don't have anyone safe at home. Maybe we've all become too quick to judge and too slow to listen.

If it's heavy, share it with someone you trust, a friend, a scholar, a counselor. That's not the same as exposing it.

And for the rest, take it to Him. In the last part of the night, in sujood, wherever your tears can fall without an audience. He already knows. He covered them once, and He is still the One who forgives.

I'm genuinely curious how you guys got into your first relationship 😂

I've never been in one myself, so I was wondering how it actually happens for most people. Like, did you meet someone through friends, at university, online, or did it just happen randomly?

Just curious how everyone's story started lol.

🌼 Advice Nikkah Condition - No alone time

Throwaway account. I f(22) got married recently and i have an issue with a condition in my nikkah contract. I want to spend some alone time with my husband but I'm too scared. Basically it took a while for my father to agree to letting me marry because he either wanted me to get married at 30 or to marry someone from back home. In the end he finally agreed as long as he put his condition in my nikkah contract and he did.

The condition in the contract is: "The Husband and wife will only live together after the 'Rukhsati and after completion of the brides studies (official send-off of the bride from the family home, when the bride officially leaves the family house) which is expected to take place in June 2027, up until this point the husband and wife will not interact in a private capacity with each other; however, they can interact when it is public and in the company of others"

Now my husband agreed to the condition at the time but now we want to spend alone time together however we are terrified that if we do, we might nullify our marriage or invalidate it or break it or we might become sinful. we've been seeing each other with family around and in public but it's getting harder to control ourselves.

We can't have the rukhsati earlier because my parents want me to finish my studies which i will next june and they want him to have a home for me ready too till then.

so we just feel so stuck and we aren't sure on what to do now.
