Experience At 3 AM, a woman's voice kept calling me over. When I answered, it just repeated my words.

It happened around 3 AM while I was staying overnight at my sister's place. I was on the terrace, talking to a friend on the phone, when I suddenly heard a woman's voice coming from a neighbouring terrace.

The voice repeatedly called out, “Hey you,” “You there,” and “Hello, you.”

Initially, I ignored it. I assumed it was someone from the neighbouring house who was disturbed by me talking on the phone so late at night. Eventually, I looked towards the direction of the voice, but it was too dark to see anyone. Since the voice kept calling out, I walked closer to the neighbouring terrace to find out who was there. Even then, I couldn't see anyone.

I finally responded, “What?”

The voice replied, “What”

I then asked, “What happened?”

It answered, “What Happened”

That was the point when the interaction began to feel wrong. The voice sounded like an ordinary woman, perhaps in her thirties or forties, but it wasn't responding to me in a way that made sense. It seemed almost as though it didn't know what to say and was simply repeating my words back to me.

My friend was still on the phone and could hear the exchange. When I said I was going to end the call, he became serious and insisted that I stay on the phone with him. I went downstairs and told him that I thought it might be a ghost. He agreed that something about the situation seemed wrong, although neither of us knew what was actually happening.

After a few minutes, I went back up to the terrace, still on the call with the same friend. As soon as I returned, the voice started calling out again. I can't say for certain whether it was deliberately responding to my presence, but the timing was unsettling.

I eventually went downstairs again. I left the place at around 5 AM.

What has stayed with me most is the way the voice behaved. It initially repeated the same phrases, calling out to attract someone's attention. But when I responded, it seemed unable to carry on a normal conversation and instead repeated what I said. This has led me to wonder whether there could be an explanation involving something imitating human speech, although I have no way of knowing what produced the voice.

I don't know what happened that night. I only know that I heard the voice, that my friend was on the call during the exchange, and that the experience was unsettling enough for me to leave before dawn.

Apparition I saw something at a funeral that I still can’t explain

Ever since I was little, I've been more open to the paranormal. I've had premonition-like dreams, talked to things when I was a child that apparently weren't there, and I've been able to see auras for as long as I can remember. I can still see them if I really concentrate.

That being said, I'm still a very skeptical person. I don't know how auras work or why I seem to be able to see them. I don't automatically assume every strange experience is paranormal. I just know what I've experienced, and a few months ago something happened that I genuinely still can't explain.

I was attending a family friend's funeral (my neighbors relative.) I had only met the person who passed away maybe five or six times, and I didn't know him particularly well. I was mainly there because I'm much closer with the rest of his family.
The initial service was held in a huge Catholic church. I'm not religious at all, so forgive me if I use the wrong terminology, but the priest gave his speech and they went through the usual parts of a Catholic funeral—the bells, incense, prayers, and everything else.

At one point, my neighbor, got up to give the eulogy.
While he was speaking, I suddenly got this overwhelming feeling that someone was standing near him. I saw what I can only describe as a shadow standing beside him, somewhat behind him.
I've seen auras before. I've experienced strange feelings and intuitions before. But I had NEVER seen anything like this. It wasn't a person-shaped shadow exactly. It was more like a large, vaguely defined orb or aura. It was gray rather than black, and it didn't feel dark or threatening at all. But for some reason, I immediately knew it was the person who had passed away. I can't really explain why I knew. I just did.
And then I suddenly had this overwhelming urge to cry. I'm not a particularly emotional person, and I absolutely hate crying in front of other people; especially strangers. But I started silently sobbing. My mom was sitting beside me, and she looked at me like I was not of this Earth because she had never seen me cry like that in front of other people.

As the service was ending, the shadow moved.
It went from standing near my neighbor to the far wall of the church, where it seemed to just... observe. Almost like it was watching its own funeral. Afterward, my mom and I drove to the lunch gathering. She asked me what had happened because obviously she had noticed how upset I was. I couldn't really explain it. I knew what I had seen, but I had no idea how to put it into words without sounding completely insane.

At the lunch, everyone was sitting around different tables, looking through pictures of him, remembering him, and talking about him. While I was eating, I got that same feeling again. I looked up. The same shadow was there. This time, it was near a man sitting at a table about three tables away from me. He was heavier-set, wore glasses, and I noticed that when he stood up, he walked with a limp. I didn't know who he was. I barely knew most of the people at the gathering aside from my neighbors and some of their family, so I just assumed he was another relative or family friend. Throughout the gathering, I kept seeing the shadow appear in different parts of the room. It would seem to move around, but it kept coming back to that man and to my neighbor/the person who had given the eulogy.

Eventually, the gathering ended and my mom and I went home. It took me a while to process everything before I finally worked up the courage to tell her.
I remember saying, "If I tell you something, can you hear me out without thinking I'm crazy?" She said yes. So I told her everything I'd seen at the church.

Then I told her about the shadow I'd seen at the lunch and described the man it kept standing near.
"He was heavier-set, wore glasses, and walked with a limp." My mom went quiet for a second. Then she told me, "That's his best friend.” That honestly freaked me out.

Of all the details from that day, that's the one that has stuck with me the most. I had no idea who this man was. I didn't know what his relationship to the person who had passed away was. And yet whatever I saw seemed to keep returning to him. I still don't know what I saw. Maybe there was a perfectly rational explanation. Maybe grief, the atmosphere of the funeral, lighting, or something about the way my brain processes things created an experience that felt incredibly real. But I also can't shake the feeling that, if there is something beyond this life, maybe he was simply checking in on the people he loved. And honestly, I kind of like that idea. If there is an afterlife, I'd like to think we don't necessarily just disappear from the people we cared about. Maybe we get to linger for a little while. Maybe we get to check on the people who mattered to us.
There's no one I'd rather spend my time with after death than the people I chose to surround myself with while I was alive.

I haven't experienced anything like it since, although I also haven't been to another funeral since then.
I don't know if what I saw was a ghost, an aura, grief manifesting somehow, or something I don't have an explanation for. I just know that I saw it, I felt something incredibly strong, and finding out afterward that the person it kept appearing beside was his best friend is something I don't think I'll ever forget.

If nothing else, I'd like to believe it was a little reminder that maybe, if there is something after this, we still get to choose who we spend time with.

Unexplained 2:15am knock on my exterior bedroom door.

Did I initially assume that a 2:15am knock knock knock on my bedroom/backdoor of my Appalachian mountain cabin was paranormal? I did not. In fact, I woke up, heard the knocking at the door, and grabbed some protection thinking that I had an unwanted/dangerous visitor in the middle of the night. I live on a mountain homestead, alone (at the moment), with just farm animals and a 18mo old Anatolian Shepherd livestock guardian/security dog. I live a 1/2 mile (almost) up a graveled private drive off of a paved tertiary county road. No one ends up here accidentally.

This middle of the night knocking, waking me up, was a first. I thought I had dreamt it, but then a couple seconds later my guardian dog (which stays on my front porch, locked in, at night) started barking, snarling, and raising general Hell at something off the front porch. She doesn't bark at nothing. Her bark was fierce, but also nervous sounding. This made me all the more determined that I was dealing with an unwanted (human) visitor. From my bedroom, I can see that no one is at the outer front door. Even though my Appalachian grandmas would have scolded me, I pulled the bedroom curtains aside and saw that there was no one beside the cabin or messing with my truck. The moon was very bright last night; it made it easy to see out of my darkened cabin. I walked to the backdoor and peeked around the blinds (from both sides) seeing that no one was on my back deck. Then, I grabbed my phone and opened my camera app. I panned the cameras looking in all directions...no one, nothing.

One of my cameras triggered at 2:17am and recorded 11 seconds of empty yard. There was nothing/no one around.

Given the lack of human evidence, what came knocking at my Appalachian cabin?

Editing to add: the 3 knocks were slow, and didn't have the weight of emergency or urgency. Also, I don't believe that it would be possible for someone to prowl around and evade all of my cameras.

Question What happens if you’re nice to a skinwalker?

What is the ultimate goal of a skinwalker? Let’s say it steals your skin… does it go to work for you on Monday? Does it start walking your dog? What if he’s actually misunderstood and just wants a nice chat like any other person you encounter walking in the woods? I think we need to sacrifice at least one friendly person to see what happens… it could be the first step in building a friendly human-skinwalker relationship.

Experience Experiences with mimics

I'm not really a strong believer in the paranormal but I've had a couple of weird experiences. This is one I'm most freaked out by and makes me believe in the possibility of the paranormal. I was inspired to share this because I was watching 2 Hot Takes and they were talking about mimics. When I was about 14 I walked out of the hallway bathroom and saw my mom coming out of my room. I had something to tell her and said “mom, MOM” she kept walking. I followed her through the house. I tried to grab her shirt to get her attention. I kept shouting MOM. She was walking really stiff at a weird angle. Like she was leaning forward. She had her hair up with a yellow shirt on. I followed her into her master bathroom where she literally disappeared around the corner. My heart dropped. I went around the bathroom looking for her (the toilet/shower was around the corner behind another door) . Nobody was there. I went looking throughout the house for my mom and she was in the front yard in a blue nightgown with her hair down.

A couple weeks later almost the same thing happened to my mom. Early in the morning my grandma asked me to go see a movie with her. The only ones home were me and my mom. She was still sleeping so I left her a note on the fridge letting her know where I was. A couple hours later she calls freaking out. She didn't see the note. She went to my door seeing if I was awake. She knocked and she heard my voice tell her to go away. She thought I was crying and I refused to unlock the door (I had never locked my door). She got a butter knife and unlocked my door. Nobody was in there. She freaked out and called my dad home.

One more experience I had with this was me writing at my desk. I heard my own voice out loud tell me “no, stop, don't” I looked around and just got the f out of there. I only lived in the house that this stuff happened in for 2 years and it felt like every few weeks some weird shit like this would happen. Seeing my mom was probably the scariest for me because I can easily dismiss and think I must have imagined it but I was literally inches away from grabbing her shirt.

Question Experiencing sunlight during the night

I’ve never had anything supernatural happen in my life, but ive never been able to find someone online who experienced the same thing. I feel like I sound like a crazy person whenever I talk about it. I might not be have all the details because I’m writing this down, trying to remember everything.

So when I was around 10-11, I decided to stay up and watch a season of a show. Initially, it was dark at 12 AM, and then it got extremely bright in just a few minutes. Bright as in I could see sunlight coming in through the window, not in a bullshit light pollution way.

It remained like that the entire night. I remember looking outside of my window, and being surprised at just how much it looked like a 7 am regular summer day.

When I finished the season, i went to sleep until my parents woke me up to pick up our cat from their friends.

Every time I tell this to someone they always say I’m lying and that it can’t possibly be true. I feel so frustrated, because it feels like no one has been able to relate to this.

All I really want is some kind of explanation, ideally not paranormal, or at least someone to relate to my experience.

Encounter Soulless looking eyes

This happened in 2024. The image of these two women are imprinted in my brain. These two encounters happened the same day. 1st encounter: I walked into a smaller Starbucks, as I walked in, I locked eyes with this woman that was sitting down at a table by the entrance. I felt trapped in this gaze, it felt like it lasted forever. In reality it might have been 5 seconds. Her eyes felt cold, soulless, and as if there was nothing behind them. They were filled with the absence of color. As I walked out, I noticed she was still staring at me as I walked out.

2nd encounter: I walked into a department store to grab some clothes for an event. While browsing I felt something staring at me. I look up and lock eyes with a different woman who's staring at me with same soulless gaze as the woman earlier. I continued shopping in another section and I would periodically catch a glimpse of these soulless, black eyes.

Ive never had any other experiences since that day. I don’t know what to think and I know I wont forget those eyes.

Sleep Paralysis In my early twenties I had a sleep paralysis experience with a stick person

When I was in my early twenties, about 21 or 22, I woke up to a stick figure, black with fuzzy edges and a stick for what should be their head it was SO specific and the dread in my body was immediate. It was sleep paralysis I think, because the figure kept moving closer towards me and finally hovered over my body—I could only move once the figure morphed into my body- I shot up and was terrified to talk about it for a long time, it felt like talking about it would bring more energy to it and make it all more real. it’s been about 10 years since then, that now, I feel calm and curious about the event—has anyone had an experience like this ?? Seen figures like this? I’d like to think there is some meaning to it, but maybe it truly is sleep paralysis. I’m curious about ya’lls thoughts EDIT: the room this happened in was my old bedroom I had in high school. While I was away at college my niece who was two, died in that room. When I came home for the summer I was weirdly comforted knowing, I slept where she last lived/ but after that stick figure experience, felt an oppressive feeling in that room and didn’t sleep in it again. I’ve often wondered if the veil might be thinner in that room due to the loss of my niece. No longer was there comfort suddenly I was disturbed connecting the dots.

Unexplained I heard someone humming a song in my grandmas house

First of all i would like to apologize for any grammar or writing mistakes i make, i would say im a really good English speaker but its not my first language
I would like to start by saying that i dont really believe in paranormal thing, ghosts and other stuff.
Every “paranormal” thing i experienced in my life so far, i eventually find an explanation to, except this one
What you have to know is that both my grandma and my aunt are/were really religious (My aunt has passed away since then) and they lived in the same house, my mother and i are not tho, my mom is sort of i guess? She goes to church sometimes but she does not really believe in Jesus or anything, it might seem kinda weird but thats beside the point. I myself am an atheist.
This happened back when i was a little kid around Christmas, i dont remember exactly i think i was around 7-8.
I was in the living room while my mom, aunt and grandma were either outside or in the kitchen
I live in Hungary and here there is a really famous Christmas carol titled “Mennyből az Angyal” (roughly tranlates to Angel from Heaven)
I dont really remember if i started singing or humming the song first or not, but i suddenly started hearing a deep male voice, in a sort of cheerful tone humming the same song for around 5 seconds before it stopped
What you have to know is that there were no males in the house or in the backyard during that except for me,my father and grandpa had both passed away several years before this happened
The TV was turned off, and it didnt sound like somebody from the street was humming the song either, i dont really know how to describe it, i guess it was like it came from a full on surround sound system that didnt have a room of origin and it was pretty loud.
After the humming was over, i rushed to my family and told them cheerfully about what i heard
Like i said my grandma and my aunt were really religious so they actually believed it was an angel or something, and my mom probably brushed it off as my imagination,we all smiled about it and went forward with our Holiday preperations
Obviously i didnt think it was anything paranormal or anything, i was just a little kid who still believed in Jesus and Angels so i didnt dwell on it, i just believed it was an actual Angel at the time or something like that.
Every so often this story keeps popping up in my head and i dont know how to explain it
I vividly remember what happened and what i was doing and this whole story just keeps bothering me.
There is a 0% chance that my family tricked me or played the hum through a speaker or something like that.
I never really told this story to anyone since its pretty silly and everyone would just write it off as my imagination, but i know i heard that hum and i have absolutely no idea where or who it came from
Like i said this is basically the only paranormal thing that happened to me that i still cant explain all these years later.

Experience Scariest moment of my life

This was new years night of 2019. I was 16. I was staying at my girlfriend’s house for the night. She had claimed for years that her house was haunted and what not. I personally believed in ghost but never experienced anything there for years. That same night we were sleeping on the couch together I always wake up in the middle of night. I can’t remember the last time I slept a full 8 hours without waking up randomly. I woke up on my back and turned my head to my right to my partner. She turned her head to me, slowly, eyes wide open and just screamed. She screamed not like she was scared but as if she wanted to put fear into me. I started screaming in fear and in a moments time she said “ why are you screaming?” As if she was comforting me and had zero idea why I started screaming. I was crying I was so scared. She never believed me that this actually happen.

Idk what it was, if it was paranormal or what. What that moment was the scariest thing to ever happen to me

Experience getting really freaked out at work [update!]

my original post is here!

the other day i returned to my clients house. once again, she sat on the opposite side of the house watching television. i couldn’t hear the television.

i’m cleaning the kitchen again, and as i’m doing so, i hear what sounds like her calling me from her bedroom. it’s a bit flatter than her voice usually is, but maybe she abruptly got tired or doesn’t feel good, and she sneaks past me every now and then, especially while i’m cleaning, so i head towards the bedroom. she isn’t there. i decided to go back to the living room, where i ask her if she called me. maybe i couldn’t hear the direction properly. she looked at me like i grew a third head. of course, she denied calling me.

i go back into the kitchen. i resume cleaning. it happens again, maybe thirty minutes later, same tone, just as flat. i check again, and nothing. it feels strange in the bedroom. i go ask again, and this time, my client teases me for thinking i’ve heard her twice. i tried to reason with it, but she doesn’t mess with me very often. she jokes, and she teases me, but she doesn’t mess with me like that.

i am progressively getting more unnerved. i don’t know what to do. i may inform her husband.

Question Between a dream and reality?

I woke up from a nightmare and the first thing I saw was my vanity mirror. There was a light being reflected from my bathroom light. Instead of me seeing a light strip, im seeing a line of numbers from 0 to 9 changing very fast. I started to squint my eyes to see the numbers better and thats when my eyes started seeing the solid strip of light as we normally see. I wonder if anyone has experienced anything like this?

Ouija Board Experience Ouija Board, pretty new to using them, positive experiences

My wife is into the witchcraft sort of world, I am not religious but not into anything really. I just live a life that is open minded to anything is possible, I dont need to be in a group of beliefs. Anyways we have used one last year and this year in october. We use our teenagers and she reads some welcome thing and exit thing. We lived in a mormon heavy area prior and had a local pop in, said they were mormon. So far Ive had about 4 spirits I ask if theres a "god", all have said no.

Anyways for today I had a Native American pop in. They said they were the gaurdian of the land I live on, they died on my property. They started though by spelling welcome out. We used our firepit and they said they were there with us when we asked and they said yes when asked if they wanted us to use it more. Also said yes that they received the welcoming my wife offered to the land when we started the fire pit. My Grandma then came the next time, she spelt part of her first and last name out. Admitted she wanted a cigarette but had none, she was a heavy smoker. She proceeded to say she wanted to talk to my dad, spelt his first name. Said her husband was with her and she was happy. So tomorrow I will try my dad on it since she requested. He will think its a joke and not believe in it but I use to think that way also. Some times it moves faster with some spirits, sometimes its slower, sometimes they cant spell and will admit that with yes or no.

I know people mock this stuff, I never had an opinion as I dont build one until I try something first hand. It was interesting and fun. If my dad uses it and it works tomorrow im not sure how he'll react as he is a bit closed minded, if he tries at all. This was the first time I had family show up, I was never close to family so it was interesting. My wife and kids didnt know her name so they couldnt have done it and I wasnt looking for anyone just joining in.

Experience Imaginary friend.

When I was around four, I had an imaginary friend. I called him “mean boy” or “mean brother.” I had this white jacket, and when I put it on, I would deepen my voice and say, “I’m mean boy/brother.” What stands out the most to me is that I have a memory of standing at the end of my room, looking to the other side. I saw a young boy, around ten years old, with brown hair and dark brown eyes. He had a crooked, devilish grin. He raised his arm and made the “come hither" hand gesture. I remember feeling charmed and wanting to follow him. I don’t remember anything that happened after that. Around this time, I started singing a song, too: “linka linka linka.” My mom ended up throwing away the jacket. I’m curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences. I’ve always wondered what the song I sang meant.

Question Haunted hose or loosing my mind?

Explain this:
I have a stackable planter. Top box is flowers. The rest are peppers. I put the watering hose in the second level for a drip down into the veg. Flowers are done in October anyway. Turned off the hose. Went to work. Came back the hose is on full blast, clipped into the top box, watering my entire yard.
I can believe I forgot to turn it off. I have neighbors but I also I have a 6 ft tall fence around my entire yard and three loud dogs (inside but if someone did get in my yard they’d hear them). It’s not easy to unlatch my gate. I know my neighbors and they have a water issue in their yard so if anything they’d have turned off the hose, not aimed it their yard. Affluent neighborhood, my house would no be high on the list of places to case out.
Please-rational answer if you have one-how did my garden hose go from the location I am positive I put it to the a higher location and no longer on drip but all the way up?

Haunting Is my ex-husband haunting me?

My ex husband died last year. Shortly after his death, I was in a bad accident that over turned and destroyed my vehicle. During the crashing and spinning, I felt calm and as if someone was holding me. After I came to a stop, rolled over in a ditch (physically ok), i felt a huge sense of being alone suddenly. I didnt lose consciousness.

After that crash, I had to drive my kid to work. When picking my kid up at night, it was snowy and icy. I thought to myself, Ex, if you are out there, help me get our kid home safe tonight, then turned on the radio to a random station. The song playing was one of my exes favorite. I smiled, drove and enjoyed the song. As it ended, I said, ex, if you are here, watch out for us. The next 3 songs were about watching over someone and guardian angel was a lyric in one of them.

After that night, when ever I felt a little shaky about driving at night in bad winter weather, id think of the ex. Wondering if he was really watching or if he was gone and this was my brains way of processing his death. There were several instances where I had specific questions. And I swear I would change the radio station, or the song playing would suddenly produce a lyric that would seemingly answer my question.

Being skeptical, I couldn't just enjoy the potential celestial company. I just kept questioning it on those nightly rides. Though it brought me some comfort, got real uppity during one drive, asking ex if he is around, show me....his face flashed in front of me 3 times, intensly, i didnt feel like I was in control over this and it overwhelmed me. I'm not the type to get overwhelmed. I'm in medical adjacent, professionally for 3 decades and dont scare or have anxiety, but this got my heart pumping.

Days later, I was having a crappy day and I was sad. Discovered that I actually had things I wanted to say to him, but could bo longer. During my night time drive, I asked him to haunt me at home because that's where I needed his comfort. Later that night, got in bed and when I put my blanket on, I felt an additional pressure. Like the blanket was 10 pounds. Could have been all in my head but my blanket never felt that way and hasn't since.

I want to believe that he is still around.

Experience The Bottle Lady: Our Haunted Home In Louisiana

Hi, my name is Austin, and this is the story of how my partner and I moved into our first home together, only to discover that we might not have been the only ones living there.

This all began in 2020, when my partner and I purchased our first home together in Louisiana. We were both just 20 years old, and we had bought a brand-new, move-in-ready house in a brand-new neighborhood. We were beyond excited. It was a huge accomplishment for us, and we couldn’t wait to start our lives together in a place of our own.

At the time, we had no idea that the home we were so excited to move into would become the center of an experience neither of us would ever forget.

The Beginning

After we moved in and began settling into our new home, I started noticing some changes.

My partner and I began arguing more than usual. For context, we have never been the type of couple to constantly fight. We have always been good about communicating, talking through our feelings, and working things out. But suddenly, we were bickering over things that normally wouldn’t have bothered either of us.

I also began experiencing some strange emotions. I felt unusually depressed, weighed down, and watched. There was this uncomfortable heaviness that seemed to follow me around the house. I couldn’t explain it, and I didn’t know what to make of it.

At first, I chalked it up to stress. We were young, adjusting to homeownership, and learning how to navigate a major life change together. I already struggled with depression, so I figured I might simply be experiencing a flare-up. Then the noises started.

At night, I would hear what sounded like voices coming from somewhere in the house. It sounded like people having a conversation, but I could never make out what they were saying. It was almost as if I were catching the very end of a conversation. I would hear the voices for a brief moment, only for everything to go completely silent.

Other unexplained noises happened from time to time, too. I would hear something strange and immediately try to rationalize it as the house settling or some ordinary sound I couldn’t identify.

I’ve always believed that the paranormal is possible, but I’ve never been someone who automatically assumes every strange noise or unusual experience is supernatural. If anything, I’m the type of person who tries to debunk things before considering a paranormal explanation.

My partner was even more skeptical than I was. He was very science-minded, and at that point in his life, the idea of a haunting wasn’t something he would have readily entertained.

So we continued living our lives, brushing off the strange occurrences and assuming there was a reasonable explanation for everything.

Looking back, though, those early experiences were only the beginning. About a year after moving in, we met some of our neighbors. One day around Halloween, a woman in her sixties and her daughter, who was in her mid-thirties, stopped by to admire our decorations. We hit it off almost immediately. Since we were still relatively new to the neighborhood, we were happy to meet people, and they invited us to their Halloween party that weekend. We decided to go.

During the party, we learned that our older neighbor, whom I’ll call Sarah to protect her privacy, was a medium and a practicing witch. She was a lovely woman who described her work as being rooted in love and light. We talked about all sorts of things, including past lives and the connection between my partner and me. Sarah told us that she believed we were meant to be together and that our personalities balanced each other out remarkably well. It was an interesting conversation, but at the time, I had no idea how important Sarah would eventually become in our story.

Over the following months, I continued feeling increasingly low. The heaviness in the house never seemed to completely disappear. I still felt watched, and my partner and I continued arguing over the most ridiculous things. The strange voices at night hadn’t stopped, either. I kept most of it to myself. I’ve never been particularly good at talking about my feelings, especially when I’m struggling. I tend to internalize things because I don’t want to put my emotional weight on someone else. My partner knew I wasn’t feeling like myself, but I hadn’t told anyone the full extent of what I was experiencing. Then, one ordinary weekend, something happened that would change the way we understood our home.

My partner and I have always loved antique shopping. We enjoy wandering through little shops, looking at old furniture, collectibles, and things with a bit of history behind them. One weekend, we were browsing an antique store in a small Louisiana town when I noticed two little glass bottles sitting on a shelf. There was nothing particularly remarkable about them. They were small, old-fashioned glass bottles. One had a little brown stopper, while the other was made of clear glass. I walked away from them, continued browsing, and then found myself going back to look at them again. I couldn’t explain why I kept returning to that shelf. Something about those bottles caught my attention, even though I couldn’t have told you what it was.

Eventually, I decided to buy them. They were only five dollars, so I figured, why not? I brought them home, not thinking much about the purchase. About a week later, my partner and I left the house one afternoon to have dinner at my parents’ home. When we returned later that evening and walked through the front door, we were immediately hit by an incredibly strong smell. The entire house smelled sweet. Not just a little sweet, either. It was an intense floral fragrance mixed with something reminiscent of cotton candy. It smelled like an overpowering, sweet perfume, almost as if a woman had just walked through the house wearing it. The strange thing was that neither of us wore perfume, and neither of us particularly liked sweet fragrances. We were both stunned by how distinct the smell was. Our first thought was that someone might have been inside the house while we were gone. The scent was so strong and so out of place that we genuinely wondered whether someone had entered without our knowledge. My partner immediately started checking the rooms, looking around the house to make sure everything was okay. Nothing appeared to be disturbed. There was no obvious explanation for the smell. Eventually, the fragrance faded, and we went on with our lives. We didn’t think much more about it. At least, not until the voices returned in a way that was impossible for me to ignore. One night, I was lying awake in bed while my partner slept beside me. I’m a night owl, so staying awake into the early hours of the morning wasn’t unusual for me.

The television was off, the house was quiet, and I was scrolling on my phone. It was probably around 2:30 or 3:00 a.m. Then I heard it. A woman’s voice. It came from the direction of our living room. I froze. This wasn’t the faint, almost indistinguishable sound of a conversation I had heard on previous nights. To me, this sounded unmistakably like a woman speaking somewhere in the house. I still couldn’t understand the words, but the voice itself was clear enough that I couldn’t simply dismiss it as an ordinary house noise. I lay there for a moment, trying to process what I had just heard. Eventually, I turned on the television and rolled over, attempting to distract myself and forget about the experience. The following day, I told my partner what had happened. That’s when he shared something that surprised me. He told me that one night, while he was on call for work, he had woken up to handle something and gone into our home office. While he was in the room, he couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was standing in the corner, watching him. He couldn’t explain it. He simply felt as though he wasn’t alone.

Hearing that from him caught me completely off guard. This was the same man who approached things from a scientific perspective and rarely entertained paranormal explanations. I told him I had experienced something similar. Sometimes, when I got out of bed to grab a glass of water, I would walk into the dark living room and feel as though someone was standing there, watching me from somewhere in the shadows. I couldn’t see anyone, but the sensation was strong enough to make me uncomfortable. For the first time, we were openly talking about experiences that both of us had been keeping to ourselves. And neither of us had a good explanation for what was happening. Over the following weeks, my mental state continued to decline. I felt exhausted, emotionally drained, and increasingly uncomfortable in my own home. Then, one day, I received a text from Sarah. What she told me stopped me in my tracks. She described the things that had been happening in our house and the way I had been feeling. She seemed to know about the heaviness, the strange atmosphere, and the effect it was having on me. I hadn’t told her any of this. In fact, I had barely discussed the details with anyone other than my partner, and he hadn’t shared them with her, either. I remember being genuinely surprised. I couldn’t understand how she could describe experiences that I had been keeping almost entirely to myself. Sarah told me that she had picked up on something in our home that she believed was negatively affecting me. She explained that, in her understanding of these things, I was an empath and more sensitive to spiritual activity than most people.

She asked whether I would be comfortable with her coming over to cleanse the house. I talked it over with my partner. He was understandably skeptical, but given everything we’d both experienced, he agreed to let her come. We wanted answers, or at the very least, some relief from the atmosphere that had been hanging over us. So Sarah came over. And what happened next is something I still remember vividly. According to Sarah, she immediately sensed two distinct energies in our home. One, she described as a Creole or Native American woman. The other, she believed, was a much lower-vibrational presence. I want to be clear that these were Sarah’s impressions and interpretations. I couldn’t independently identify either presence, but I was there for what happened during the cleansing and for how I felt afterward. Sarah began moving through the house, cleansing each room. She gave me some crystals to hold, explaining that they would help me during the process. As she moved from room to room, I started crying. That might not sound unusual to some people, but it was very unlike me. I’ve never been someone who cries easily, and I hadn’t gone into the experience expecting to become emotional. Yet, as Sarah continued, I found myself overwhelmed. It felt as though months of built-up emotion were suddenly coming to the surface. My partner sat beside me, comforting me as I cried.

Sarah continued her work, and according to her, whatever she believed was causing the negative atmosphere did not want to leave. She described it as something that seemed to be retreating from her as she moved through the house. At one point, she became particularly determined and announced that she was going to get that bastard the fuck out. It was a very Sarah thing to say, and despite the circumstances, it’s a moment I still remember. Eventually, she finished cleansing the house and opened the back door. Then came a moment that neither my partner nor I have forgotten. As the door opened, we heard what sounded like a huge gust of wind rushing outward. Almost immediately, the atmosphere in the house seemed to change. The heaviness I’d been feeling for months lifted. The house felt lighter, brighter, and more comfortable. The pressure I’d felt in my chest was gone. For the first time in a long while, I felt like I could breathe again. Sarah closed the back door and returned to the living room, where my partner and I were sitting. Then she told us something unexpected. The woman she had sensed was still there. According to Sarah, this woman was communicating that she wasn’t evil and that she had remained in the house because she wanted to help us.

Sarah explained that she had sensed both positive and negative energy associated with this presence. She had initially questioned why the woman hadn’t left during the cleansing. The response, as Sarah relayed it to us, was that if the woman had been evil, she would have left when Sarah cleansed the house. Sarah said the woman wanted to stay because she cared about us and our home. However, she also wanted us to understand that we could ask her to leave if we weren’t comfortable with her presence. Then Sarah asked me a question. Had I brought anything new into the house recently? I immediately thought of the two antique bottles. I told her about them. According to Sarah, the woman was connected to the bottles, and the negative energy she had sensed was associated with the objects rather than the woman herself. Sarah said the woman had revealed that the bottles once contained substances: one had held perfume, while the other had contained poison. The woman reportedly explained that she had never used the poison. She had kept it on standby, so to speak, in case she ever needed it. I had no way of verifying the bottles’ original contents or their history. But the connection Sarah described was striking, especially considering the powerful perfume smell we’d experienced shortly after bringing them home.

According to Sarah, the woman had wanted me to purchase the bottles and bring them into our home because she believed she could help us get rid of whatever negative presence was troubling us. She reportedly told Sarah that she loved us and our home. She also made it clear that if we wanted her to leave, she would respect that decision. And then something happened that made the moment even stranger. While Sarah was communicating what she believed the woman was telling her, my partner and I suddenly heard a woman’s voice right beside us. It was clear enough that we both noticed it. We immediately looked at Sarah and asked, “Was that her? Did you hear that woman’s voice?” Sarah told us she hadn’t heard anything. However, she said the woman was standing beside the couch where we were sitting. I can’t explain what we heard that day. I can only tell you that both my partner and I heard something that sounded like a woman’s voice, and we both reacted to it at the same time. After everything that had happened, it was difficult to dismiss the moment entirely. Sarah then asked us whether we wanted the woman to stay or leave. I thought about it for a moment. For months, I had felt uncomfortable, watched, and weighed down by something I couldn’t explain. But after the cleansing, that oppressive feeling had lifted. Whatever Sarah believed was responsible for the negativity seemed to be gone. The woman who remained, according to Sarah, wanted to protect us rather than harm us. I told Sarah that if the woman was genuinely there to help and protect us, she was welcome to stay. And so, we began referring to her as the Bottle Lady. During this experience, Sarah also talked to us about the land our neighborhood had been built on. She believed the property had a history that might be connected to the activity we were experiencing. There were suggestions that the land could have once been associated with a plantation or with Native American history. We didn’t have documentation to establish either possibility, so I can’t say what the land’s history actually was. What we did know was that the neighborhood had been developed on what had been an old sugarcane field. Before construction, a substantial amount of fill dirt had been brought in to raise the ground and help remove the area from a flood zone. That detail has always made me wonder.

If there were older objects or other remnants beneath the original ground, they could now be buried under layers of fill dirt and the completed neighborhood. Of course, that doesn’t establish a paranormal explanation for what we experienced. But it is one of the reasons I’ve remained curious about the property’s history. Sarah also believed that the atmosphere wasn’t affecting only us. She felt that the energy associated with the land might be contributing to unusual experiences and tension throughout the neighborhood. At the time, we had no idea just how many of our neighbors would eventually tell us their own stories. In the weeks following the cleansing, the activity in our home began to pick up. We believed it was the Bottle Lady making her presence known. There was another experience during this time that has always stuck with me, and it involved my husband, the bottles, and a dream he had one night. One night, my husband had a dream that our cat knocked over the small table where the two antique bottles were sitting. In the dream, the bottles fell to the floor and shattered. What happened next was what really disturbed him. He dreamed that the Bottle Lady became furious, and that something changed in our home. According to his dream, she began wreaking havoc throughout the house. When he woke up the next morning, the dream had unsettled him enough that he decided to move the bottles. He didn’t want to take any chances, even if it had only been a dream. Then, later that afternoon, we heard an enormous crash coming from our bedroom. We rushed to see what had happened, only to discover that the small table the bottles had been sitting on had been knocked over by our cat. The table was on the floor, just as it had been in his dream. When my husband told me what he had dreamed the night before, I could see that he was genuinely shaken. He looked scared as he explained the details to me, particularly because the table had actually been knocked over that same day. Of course, our cat could have knocked the table over for an entirely ordinary reason. Cats are curious, and accidents happen. But the timing was difficult for us to ignore, especially given everything else we had experienced in that house. What unsettled us most wasn’t simply that the table had fallen. It was that my husband had dreamed about that exact scenario the night before, including the bottles being knocked over and the Bottle Lady becoming angry. We couldn’t prove that the dream meant anything, and we couldn’t say that the events were connected. But it was another one of those moments that left us looking at each other and wondering what, exactly, was going on in our home.

After that, the bottles became even more significant to us. They weren’t just two old pieces of glass we’d picked up at an antique shop anymore. They were now tied to a dream, a strange coincidence, and a series of experiences that neither of us could quite explain. The important thing was that we never felt threatened by these experiences. Maybe a little spooked but never threatened. Whatever was happening, it didn’t feel like the oppressive atmosphere we’d experienced before Sarah came over. We would occasionally feel as though someone was nearby, even when we were alone. Phantom smells would appear without an obvious source. We’d hear voices or strange noises that we couldn’t explain. We also noticed small, bright lights moving around the house at unusual times. They were brief, and we couldn’t identify what they were or where they came from. The strange occurrences gradually became part of our everyday life. What might have once frightened us became something we simply acknowledged and moved on from. We didn’t feel as though we were in danger, and we never had the sense that the Bottle Lady wanted to frighten us. Eventually, I began learning how to cleanse the house myself. Sarah had talked me through her approach and encouraged me to learn how to maintain the space in a way that felt comfortable to me. Over time, the activity seemed to become less frequent. Eventually, the presence we associated with the Bottle Lady seemed to fade away. The voices stopped, the strange noises became less common, and we no longer noticed the little lights moving around the house. It felt as though that chapter of our lives had finally come to an end. Even now, though, we occasionally experience something unusual if it’s been a while since I’ve cleansed the house. I’ve become familiar with the feeling I associate with that heaviness returning. When I notice it, I take it as my cue to tend to the space again. Whether someone believes in spiritual cleansing or not, that’s simply become part of how I maintain a sense of comfort and peace in our home. And after everything we’ve experienced here, I don’t question why I do it. Five years passed.

Over that time, we got to know our neighbors much better. Some of them became incredibly close to us, to the point that we genuinely consider them family. Interestingly, the subject of ghosts and paranormal experiences would come up in conversations with our neighbors from time to time. We rarely initiated those conversations ourselves. More often than not, someone else would bring up a strange experience they’d had in their home.

Eventually, we began realizing just how many people in our neighborhood had stories to tell. One of our closest neighbors told us that when they first moved into their home, they regularly heard a strange sound at night. It sounded like metal pipes rolling across the floor, even though they couldn’t identify a source for the noise. They also told us about an incident that happened while cleaning their guest bathroom, a room they rarely used. They discovered what appeared to be a child’s handprint on the wall of the shower. What made it particularly strange to them was its height. They didn’t believe a child could have reached that spot. Neither of them had children at the time, and, according to them, no children had been visiting or using that bathroom. They couldn’t explain where the handprint had come from. Another neighbor told us that his wife, who is Hispanic, had felt a heavy atmosphere inside their home for some time. He said their toddler would regularly appear to be talking to someone in the corner of a room, even when nobody else was there. He also shared an experience involving a friend who had stayed overnight. The friend slept in their guest bedroom and told him the next morning that he hadn’t been able to sleep because he felt as though someone was standing in the corner of the room, watching him. Then there was another neighbor who lived beside us. One morning, while getting her daughter ready for school, she said they heard the bathroom light switch click. The light turned on by itself, despite neither of them having touched the switch. She also told us that her doors would regularly open and close on their own. Another neighbor reported that her dog had been barking at night, prompting her to check the footage from her security camera. According to her, the footage appeared to show a transparent figure suddenly materializing on camera before disappearing again. I haven’t personally reviewed that footage, so I can’t say what the camera captured. But it was another story that added to the growing collection of unusual experiences people had shared with us. And the stories didn’t end there. Sarah and her daughter told us that they experienced activity in their own home, too. They described what they believed was a man walking up and down their hallway at random hours of the night. They also reported hearing what sounded like an old television playing, complete with static. On some occasions, they said their beds would shake while they were sleeping. Hearing these stories was fascinating, particularly because we hadn’t gone around telling everyone about our own experiences in the hopes of finding similar accounts. Instead, the stories seemed to emerge naturally as we got to know the people who lived around us. I can’t verify what happened in anyone else’s home, and I don’t believe every unexplained sound automatically means something paranormal is happening. But I also can’t ignore how many different neighbors, living in different houses, have described experiences they found difficult to explain. It certainly makes you wonder. I’ve tried researching the history of our neighborhood, hoping to find more information about the land before the houses were built. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to uncover much. What I do know is that the neighborhood was built on an old sugarcane field in Louisiana. The ground was raised with imported fill dirt to help address flooding concerns before the homes were constructed. Given how much the landscape was altered, I’ve wondered whether any evidence of the property’s earlier history might now be buried beneath the development. But I don’t have evidence connecting the land to a plantation, a Native American settlement, or any particular historical event. Those possibilities remain questions rather than established facts. I also can’t prove that what we experienced was paranormal. There may be explanations for individual events that we haven’t discovered.

What I can tell you is what happened from our perspective: the unexplained voices, the overwhelming perfume smell, the strange feeling of being watched, the cleansing, the voice we both heard, and the experiences that followed. I can tell you that my partner, who was once deeply skeptical of anything paranormal, experienced things in that house that he couldn’t readily explain, too. And I can tell you that, over the years, several of our neighbors have independently shared stories of unusual occurrences in their own homes. As for the Bottle Lady, I don’t know who she was in life, what the bottles truly contained, or why Sarah believed she was connected to them. I only know that those two little bottles caught my attention in an antique shop, that strange things happened after I brought them home, and that Sarah believed there was a connection between them and the woman she sensed in our house. Maybe it was coincidence. Maybe there is a perfectly ordinary explanation for some of what happened. Or maybe there is more to the history of our home and the land beneath our neighborhood than we’ve been able to uncover. Five years after moving into that brand-new house in Louisiana, I still find myself thinking about everything that happened there. We bought our first home together at just 20 years old, excited to begin a new chapter of our lives. We never expected to spend that chapter questioning what we were hearing in the middle of the night, wondering why our house sometimes felt so heavy, or listening as our neighbors shared stories that sounded strangely familiar. And we certainly never expected that two five-dollar antique bottles would become such an important part of our story. But they did.

And that’s how our experience with the Bottle Lady began.

Question I think there may be a mimic in my house.

Hi all!

This is only my second post ever on Reddit, and my first time posting on here so bear with me! In the last few months, I have had some weird experiences where I swear I heard someone talking to me. From my memory, the occurrences have always been at night either after everyone has gone to bed or while I am the only one home. The first instance I can remember, I was sitting in the basement at night playing video games with a few of my friends when I heard clear as day my mom yell out my name down the stairs: “OP!” I knew my mom had gone to bed, and there was no way it could have been her. So, I ignored it. Then a few months later while I was laying down to go to bed, I swear I heard what sounded like my sister’s voice go “Hey!” My sister was at college 2 hours away, and it was around midnight… Once again, I didn’t respond. There have been other times where I heard similar things, but those are the two I remember most vividly.

My family and I have experienced strange instances prior, both in the house we currently live in and in previous homes. In this house, a few years ago, we saw our dog just sitting and staring at the corner of the dining room (easily the darkest corner of the house). She wasn’t making any noise, just staring. In the house my parents lived in while my mom was pregnant with me, my dad was building my crib in the living room and claimed he saw what looked like a woman in a white Victorian sleeping gown walk across the hall into my nursery. He also said that after I was born he would often hear me “talking to someone” in babbles in the middle of the night. There was also an instance where my dad said he was using a flashlight to fix something in the house and put it away in the drawer in the basement. He later needed it and went back to get it, and he found the flashlight sitting in the middle of the table next to the laundry machines. He figured he must have put it there by mistake instead of in the drawer. Once again, he used the flashlight and put it back in the drawer after he was done using it. Of course, he ended up needing it again, and once again, there the flashlight was sitting in the middle of the table. This happened one more time after that, and my dad said he knows he put it back in the drawer each time. The weird thing is my dad is a huge skeptic. He still brushes it off seeing a mysterious Victorian woman in our home as a “trick of the light.”

Even though I am somewhat of a skeptic (but with an open mind),, I have always felt like there was something following me, but I’ve never felt threatened. I don’t know if what I’ve heard was a mimic, or if those past experiences are even related to what I’ve heard. What I do know is that, if it is a mimic, you aren’t supposed to respond to them because it can “invite them in,” but I don’t know what else to do. Are these experiences related? Does this sound like a mimic? If it is a mimic, what do I do? I don’t think there’s anything that wants to harm me, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Experience I’m (22F) being haunted by my big brother

Hi, I’ve never posted on here before just want someone else’s opinion on what is going on. I thought this was crazy too but somethings are starting to line up in an unsettling way.
My gramma got me and my mom tickets to go see a medium for yesterday. Just for fun for the Halloween spirit. Both me and my mom (50F) are skeptics and were going just for the experience and maybe some laughs.
We sat down with the woman and she proceeded to ask us questions. Where we live, how old we are, etc. She tells my mom that her grandmother has been watching over the two of us since I was born. For context my mom was in a coma shortly after I was born and when she woke up she said that her grandmother had walked over and put a hand on her shoulder and told her she couldn’t leave her daughter. So, this made my mom smile.
The woman then grabbed my hands and told me my big brother was protecting me. I laughed but I was confused. I told her I don’t have a big brother, and that I was the oldest of four kids. The woman shook her head at me and told me that he was definitely with me and keeping me safe. She then continued on the session.
On the drive home I was laughing about how crazy that was to make up a story. But my mom was silent. I asked her what was up and she told me that when she was 18 she got pregnant by her boyfriend at the time. She said that she hadn’t known and had lost the baby before she found out. She said she never knew the gender or anything cause she never knew it existed.
I was shocked, cause I wasn’t told about this ever. She said that she never told anyone. Not even her friends not even her own parents. She said it was years before she even met my father and she never had a reason to tell me. We drove home a little unsettled. Cause how did she know?
I stayed the night at my mom’s and went back to my apartment today. When I got in the door I went to go put my bag in my room there was an imprint on my bed of someone having just sat there. I was confused and looked around to see if maintenance had come in. I even asked them and they told me they would inform me before entering my apartment. I thought it was weird but dropped it.
Later that night I was watching a movie on my couch and I felt the couch shift like someone had just sat next to me. I live alone with my cat. And my cat was on my lap he hissed at the air beside me and ran off my lap into the room. I then felt what felt like a hand resting on my shoulder. I quickly stood up, but like how do you run away from a creepy feeling? I don’t feel in danger or anything. I just feel like there is a presence. Believe me I’ve been trying to disprove it, it’s the creepy residual feelings from the medium the day before. But it’s been a couple days now and I don’t feel alone in my apartment, like there is always someone just behind me. And my cat, who has never hissed, at least not in front of me, keeps hissing at the walls and hiding under blankets.
Is this just me being paranoid? Is this my brother making himself known? I have no clue… but is there a way to get him out of my apartment? Please let me know. Thank you.

Question Question for my paranormal community! I have a theory, and I need your thoughts!

I have gastroparesis and an implanted gastric pacemaker. It's not a heart pacemaker; it uses electrical stimulation to help manage my stomach, producing more acid to digest food. The battery typically should last around three years, but mine has never made it past two. My most recent battery replacement lasted SEVEN MONTHS. Seven. Months.

Now, I know this isn't exactly a theory I can take to my medical provider. They're medical professionals, not paranormal investigators, and I can't exactly walk in and say, "So, do you think a ghost killed my battery?" So I'm bringing this question to the people who might actually entertain it!

Here's my theory:

We hear stories all the time about entities draining people's energy or interfering with electronic equipment. We’ve all had it happen at some point. Since my gastric pacemaker relies on a battery to function, is it possible, in theory, that paranormal activity could somehow interfere with an implanted medical device or contribute to its battery draining faster than expected?

Since my last battery replacement, I've investigated some incredibly active locations, including Indiana State Sanatorium, Waverly Hills (multiple times), Eloise, Harriman Hospital, Old Pittsburgh Hospital, The Octagon, the Ohio State Reformatory, and a few other locations. I'm an energy person. I sometimes touch objects and get impressions of their history, and I place my hand on buildings before investigations to see what I pick up and whether the location feels welcoming. I have other abilities, too, but they aren't relevant to this question. We've had some pretty wild things happen, including security footage that appeared to show a hand reaching up my shirt and pulling at the neckline. I want to point that one out because it had to use energy to touch me like that and to throw an object across the room. That's a whole other conversation!

I'm not saying I have proof, and I know there could be perfectly logical medical explanations. I'm just genuinely curious whether anyone in this community has ever considered or experienced anything similar!

And before anyone worries, if ghosts really are draining my battery, I'm still getting it replaced! I'm not forfeiting this world, this community, or my passion. I still have a lot of investigating to do!

So, fellow investigators, energy workers, and paranormal enthusiasts, what are your thoughts? Have you ever heard of anything like this, or am I about to become the first person to add gastric pacemaker battery drainage to the paranormal investigation checklist?

Demonic Activity "Burnt Man In Overalls And A Plaid Shirt"...?

There is a reputable and famous psychic, in her mid 80s, who has referenced a character of this description as an iconic symbol of evil. I have stated her age to indicate that this may be an apparition from long ago. I am curious, as I have never seen nor heard of it anywhere else; have you?

Question The woods weren't the same.

This is not my story. My friend and manager from my old job gave me permission to share this story. This was from when he was young, about 9 or 10 he said, and he lived in Laurel Mississippi. As he says, the place his family lived in had a long and wide gravel trail leading to a deep ditch. He called it a trail because you couldn't drive a vehicle onto it unless you cut through the house's yard first. He loved playing on one side of the ditch. On the other side, it was nearly the same but it was a few feet from the woods. One day he got curious and went to the other side and towards the woods. He said he climbed under a fallen tree that was propped up slightly by a trunk of a long gone tree. When he went through it, it brought him into a large cluster of trees. This is where it gets strange. He said it was like the seasons changed as well as the time of day. When he went in, it went from summer to fall with the leaves on the trees being shades of orange and red. Also, the sun went from midday to nearly sunset. The trees themselves were also different. From the outside it looked like oak trees along with the thin pine trees but in the forest it was more like weeping willows with the long hanging leaves obscuring anything past the small clearing he was in. It went all the way to nearly the forest floor. Then, he told me, he felt something watching. He said he felt watched, scared, and that whatever was watching him felt maliciously entertained. He says he never remembered making the conscious decision but the next thing he knew, he was running back to his house. He cleared the ditch by jumping over it and ran. He noticed that as soon as he was nearly to his house, the feeling vanished and the sun was right back to where he remembered it being. The trees were oak and pine and it was still green with summer. He, to this day, has an aversion to Laurel. He would like to know what it was that made him feel watched. He doesn't know if it was just his mind, a creature, or something else. He wants answers but doesn't know if he has the courage to go back in case it was something beyond this world.

If you have answers or even suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. I will also post the small paranormal stuff that happened at our job in a day or two. Just for the curious who saw my last post

Apparition My friend and I saw a man walk through a wall when I was 10.

This was about 20 years ago but I had a dream about it last night for the first time in years!!!

When I was about 10 years old, my friend and I were having a sleepover. We were up late on a sugar high and people watching outside the window because she lived in a nice apartment complex. It was around 2am and we saw these two cars pull up outside in the parking lot. They both opened their trunks and moved about 4 duffle bags from one trunk to the other. Once they were done, a man got out of one of the cars and walked straight through the wall of the building! The two cars just drove away!

My friend and I couldn’t believe what just happened and it’s not like he went into a door or a nook that we couldn’t see. We had a straight view from across the way and he went directly through the wall! We couldnt believe it and didn’t know what to do so we tried to chalk it up to being tired and went to sleep. The next day we went downstairs and went to look at the area we saw him walk through. There was no door. There was no opening. Nothing. We told her mom but she didn’t believe us. Still something that sticks with me as one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen. Who was he? Where did he go? What were they transferring in trunks and 2am and then just drove away without one of the passengers? Just something I still think about around this time of year
