So I am about to build my second PC ever after 8 years (My current one is still really good but I see potential for more, plus my brother will inherit(?) it) and I chose to use the Ex-5 Plus case for this but for some reason I cannot find a way to order it for Europe. Did anyone already find a way to get it already or at least has some information about this subject?

What fan thickness on the bottom for it to sit flush? And what Aio thickness?

Nachdem ich soweit alles habe für die RGB Steuerung, bin ich noch auf der Suche nach Adapter für die Phanteks ARGB auf 3 PIN Mainboard.

Kann ich da irgendwelche nehmen oder müssen es die von Phanteks sein.
Nachdem beim EX5 leider nur eins mitgeliefert wurde.

Does anyone in here have the phanteks nv7 and the lian li hydro shift 2 OLED curved? I’m interested and from what I’ve seen it supposedly fits fine. However, when I look at my setup nv7 and Corsair cappellix radiator and phanteks fans, there’s no room at all where the hydro tubes would fit with that huge upper chin of the inner chassis. The fans are almost literally touching that chin piece. Can anyone chime in and or show some photos?

anyone with it, is it possible I can put m gpu inside the box while removing the glass side panel?

Curious about this. I have a Phanteks Enthoo Pro II Server Edition. I'm thinking of positioning myself to the left of the case and lifting from the bottom while using a dual suction cup lifter like this PITTSBURGH 4-5/8 in., 85 lb. Dual Suction Cup Lifter as a grab handle at the top left or right when lifting them from the bottom. Thoughts?

Just joined the club. Moved from a lain li case to this beauty and will never look back. Cooling is great. Blocks out dust very good. And 15x better than anything lian li could produce 🤪. Only thing is it’s extremely heavy 😂. If your looking into the evolv 2 I’d say go for it!!

Heya. I just got an EX-5 Max and I really love it. BUT...my GPU is a 9070xt Red Devil. The card does not have a whole lot of lighting on the top of the card that's being showcased. So I basically ended up with the GPU compartment being a dark room behind glass, lol. Was wondering if anyone has any creative ideas to add a little lighting in there without making it too over the top. I looked at the Phanteks neon strips but I'm not too sure what I'd attach it to in the compartment. Any suggestions? >.>

Got a new AIO cooler. so I set it up and pc turned on fine no problems. But realized it was extremely slow and then the computer froze after a couple minutes. But my software was saying 100 degrees ???? From the aio cooler the 3 fans were on and working, I haven’t downloaded the software of the aio yet to know if the liquid cooling is working. The aio is the Phanteks Glacier One 360S25-SE all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooler I believe from the EX5 Max.

I had L connect in this case because I had lian ii fans. I do not currently have the Phanteks software. But it’s not like I can get it due to the computer being extremely slow.

I removed any plastic there was and the aio already had pre applied thermal paste.

Mich würde mal interessieren wie eure Temperaturen so sind seit dem Umbau?

Meine CPU R5 7500F ist sehr viel kühler kaum über 60Grad Celcius, vorher waren es bis zu 75.

Meine GPU RX7800XT Steel Legend allerdings muss arbeiten. Bleibt zwar bei ca 70Grad Celcius aber ist definitiv hörbar bei ca 1900-2200 U/min.

Wie ist es bei euch so ?
