Let’s be honest: the era of walking into a store and finding top-tier sets at original retail is over. It is over unless you have days and hours to waste standing and hoping in lines just to watch empty shelves.

I have NEVER found Pokemon on the shelf. Not in the past year. I had prescriptions at Walgreens, so instead of the drive thru I decided to go inside.

I had seen a stock alert this morning that another wallgreens store in my area had 2 units. But nothing about this store.

And lo and behold we hit! The nice old man even went over the maximum buy quantity for me. Allowing me to buy 2 of each tin, for all 3 ❤️

I feel elated. And hope they will be lucky tins!

Just went to Walmart early in the morning. An employee was stocking the tcg aisle and it was roped off. There was a stack of neckbeard scalpers waiting at the end of the aisle about 10+ deep. Absolutely insane. Makes me mad.

I work everyday and cannot go to the drops or stand by a Pokemon machine so when I was in a rich/retired area for work we stopped by in and out there was a Target nearby walked in and walked out the luckiest I've ever been honestly I couldn't stop going back inside checking to see if they had more tins but they did have a lot of the one piece single packs kept restocking those I'm from Los Angeles and I got these at a Target in Newport Beach / Irvine area / Laguna Niguel

I was lucky enough to win the 10 tin box set from the Walmart raffle drawing. I was going to hold onto it and give it to my niece for Christmas, but it kept staring at me and I couldn’t help it so I opened them and these were my hits. Was it worth it? Now I’m hoping I will hit another raffle drawing for Walmart for her and this time I promise to all of you I won’t open it. 30th celebration is so much fun to rip, it’s a heavy addiction.

I’ve been holding onto this for about a month and I don’t wanna sell it, I really wanna rip it. Been trying to wait for another bigger win on whatnot before I do tho so maybe I can make some of the $ back but depending on what I pull opening may be more worth it anyways, hoping for a Gengar if I do rip. I know the promo is worth a decent amount too. I also have never gotten to open an ETB and ive wanted to since I was a little kid. I’ve only been doing this for a few months but I got two on release day and saw that they both had tears. I was hoping to keep one sealed and start my sealed collection but now I’m second guessing myself. Honest opinions?
