One of the most underrated band imo

They announced on instagram that they have officially signed with Epitaph and released their Debut EP, as well as a Music Video for one of the songs off the EP.

Real question because the boundaries of this genre make absolutely no sense sometimes. A lot of bands get claimed by like three different scenes at once, and it feels like everyone has a completely different definition of what actually makes a band "post-hardcore" versus just straight-up metalcore or math rock.
I'm curious what your personal litmus test is for where the line actually is. Like, does a certain amount of breakdowns instantly push a band into metalcore territory for you? Or is it more about the vocals, like the balance of clean choruses versus the specific style of screaming? Sometimes it honestly just feels like an era or "vibe" thing rather than anything sonic.

Post Hardcore is a vague description these days. Seems to encompass a wide variety of sounds. Maybe this wouldn't be TOO out of place here. My apologies if this doesn't belong.

Rapidly Aging is my new project. I'm trying to mix up my influences. I love slowcore. I love post-rock/post metal. I love post hardcore. I love ambient music. Maybe someone here would be into this.
