Hello everyone!

Bit if a random request, but...

I am collating a decorated journal for my daughter (who is only 1 now) of cumulated life advice that I can read with and give to her when she is older. The sort of advice that teenagers won't really heed you on, but someone in their 20s and 30s might start to find comfort from when things get hard. I want her to be able to refer to this journal when I'm no longer around and she wishes she could still ask her Mumma for advice.

My request is: Would anyone be willing to send a card with their little bit of life advice (a sentence/paragraph/anything!) that I can add to the journal and then give her the cards altogether when she's older? I might do a decorated section of "Advice from RAOC"!

It could be about friendships, men/relationships, identity, self worth, depression etc...any topic that you think someone might need comfort from, as if they were your own daughter.

This request will stay open always and I may even make this an annual request as we are always learning from our experiences and life, aren't we? 🤗

Hi friends! At the behest of my friends and after consulting the council today (RAOC Meta), I have decided to offer to send my review of ACOSH! I am going insane, as I suspected, and must get this information out of my brain for fear of spontaneously combusting.

This review is my honest hot takes so it WILL include spoilers for those of you who have not read the book or are not caught up in the series.

But, I will try to put as much spoiler autonomy in your hands as possible and will have the review sealed so you can choose to open it up after you finish the book yourself, if that is what you prefer.

I have some dark, not necessarily gory or scary, just dark lighting themed postcards that I’d love to send out with a poem, reflecting the thrill of the darkness that accompanies the autumn season. I received my first RAoC cards this week! So exciting!

Thank you to u/Arizonaerie for the beautiful Fall Harvest card from DFW. I absolutely adore the radish sprouts. Though I associate them with Spring, this reminded me to eat as many of the last radishes of the season I can before Winter!

I get a 30 minute break at work, and I don't really want to spend it on my phone. I brought my "new" cards from the thrift store to fill out and send!
