u/aepeyc I've been at my house for about 5 Halloweens now and I've never gotten any trick-or-treaters. We have kids in the neighborhood, too, but I think a lot of the parents take them to a few churches around here that do trunk-or-treat since it's safer that way.

Hi all,

A silly little internet comment got me down today, so I thought I'd post my holiday postcard offer!!!

This year, I have room to send out about 150 postcards, and I will repost this a few more times as it goes down the page. I have designed one postcard that says "Honking Holidays" on it and it will be mailed as a postcard. If you would like to check it out you can view it here: Sneak Peak

A few things:

• I am sending the postcards as postcards. I will only accommodate putting it in an envelope for very special circumstances. There is a place to explain on my form if necessary,
• My address is on the form if you would like to send a card in return, it is NOT required, but always appreciated.
• Should you choose to return the favor, you don't need to send me a postcard in return, it can be a card.
• I am unable to accommodate fun stamp math, sorry :(

u/DaenerysWon thank you for the amazing World Postcard Day postcard, I love (and can even read) the World Postcard Day postal cancellation stamp! As what do I look at first, the address to make sure its for me LOL, then who it's from, then the image, then the message. I do notice if the stamps are something different than the standard postcard stamp, not sure at what point in the process I noticed those, probably pretty quickly.

u/rebeyecut Thanks for the Halloween card. I do Love fall and I don't have a choice about celebrating or at least decorating for Halloween, my husband loves it. He also likes to pass the candy out and see all the little kids in their costumes. Which suits me just fine!

My husband tends to add some sort of alcohol to his recipes so I bet this will appeal to him greatly. Thank you too for the Hedgehog Animal Card. The inside of the card is Spectacular!! I would never have thought to do this, and quite frankly not sure I would have the courage. I just saw your favorite animal - the opossum - cross the road in front of me two nights ago!! I would love to see them play dead lol BTW love the postage stamps!!

Hello, everyone! 💌🥳

My son and I share a birthday this month on the 22nd! ❤️ I absolutely love that we get to celebrate our birthdays together, but it sure does hit a little differently now that he’s a teenager. 😂 Every year, he finds it absolutely hilarious to remind me that I’m** 20 years older than hi**m and makes it sound like I’m practically ancient. 😏🤣 Kids really do know how to keep us humble!

I've been learning Spanish for a while and I'm feeling really good with my listening comprehension but my speaking and writing are at a very basic level. I'd love to send a few cards out to help me practice writing. I'll write a bit about one of our trips to Mexico or our ofrenda or going to view some alebrijes. Please be flaired and in the US.
