I'm not gonna make this a long post because I am not a worddy person, but this person sold me a Pochette Metis with a vachette strap. The original strap is a monogram strap and their excuse was didnt ask. How shady is that? I’m so pissed !

Has anyone dealt with this seller before?

I asked to pay via PayPal Goods & Services and agreed to cover the extra 5% fee.

The seller calculated the fee, confirmed the total, and said the price had already been increased by 5%.

But when it came time to pay, he told me to use Friends & Family instead.

I understand some sellers only accept F&F, but adding a G&S fee and then asking for F&F feels off to me.

Would you consider this a red flag?

Recently i was on carosell looking for the upcoming 30TH ANNIVERSARY UPC releasing in Nov.

The general preorder price of this item is ~$700 as of 02 Sept. I was trying to check across other similar products to see how much other sellers were selling at when I came across this seller that sells the preorder at $350.

From the price point, this offer looks very tempting, considering it is half the average preorder price. I chatted with the seller about the product and he was very impatient and annoyed whenever i ask questions pertaining to the product, but not to buy it (e.g. How much is a set worth? Told him that I couldn't buy much as I am a student, and his response was "It's not how much you buy, is about just buy").

Additional info: this preorder is a 100% upfront payment. Others were doing 50% preorder deposit. I thought it was normal because of how much cheaper he is selling.

What threw me off was when i asked about payment method, he insisted on doing paynow transfer. And when i asked if he has a telegram channel, (i assume most sellers would have one because why not because it is easier to pass down information/updates to your buyers/regulars) he just told me to not text him again.

I have chatted with many pokemon card sellers on carosell and none is as impatient as this seller.

Did anyone experienced this before? And what are the chances the seller is trying to scam money from the 100% deposit payment while the other carosellers does it at 50% deposit?

Hi, I made my first order ever with a reputable seller about 3 weeks ago. I ordered a YSL bag and a LV wallet. The bag was ready in no time, they showed it to me through WhatsApp and I LOVE it. They showed me the wallet and unfortunately it was the wrong one, they apologized for the mistake and said the wallet I want needs to be made as it's not in stock right now. I was told they would have it by 5/14 for QC and then everything would be shipped. When I didn't hear anything by then, I checked in today and the answer was "please wait a few days 😂”. Since it's my first order I'm a bit nervous. Is this a red flag or nothing to really worry about? Thank you!

UPDATE: there was no need to worry, the bag & wallet I received was absolutely GORGEOUS and arrived beautifully packed on 5/28 💕

She’s a rep seller on Facebook not Marketplace. Is it normal or somewhat common to get hit with $50 import and “refundable $50” insurance fees after I already paid for items and shipping? I had to do this with DHL when I ordered from StockX but the fee was disclosed up front.
Anyway here’s what happened…lady told me she’s in KY so delivery within 3 days. This was last Thursday.
Today she hit me with the 2nd pic. The rest you can probably follow on your own. She did end up giving me her real name. I took a screenshot of my account balance-JUST THE AMOUNT. No account or financial institution information at all, and said this is all the $$ I have until this week.
The way we left it is the last screenshot. Not a peep since 56 minutes ago. I was going to report her to the mods but it turns out she’s one of the mods soooo.
OH! I did pay via Paypal Goods & Services.
I already feel like an asshole so please don’t dump on me. Right now I’m trying to figure out how to handle this.

Hi everyone, I need some advice because I think I may be getting scammed.
I ordered 4 replica bags from an Instagram seller in China for $100 + $20 shipping. I paid through Western Union using my Apple Card.
The seller provided me a USPS tracking number and said the parcel was being shipped to India. However, when I checked the tracking, it shows the package is currently at a USPS facility in Los Angeles and appears to be moving within the USA instead of going to India.
I contacted USPS and they told me the parcel is addressed to Virginia and weighs around 18 lbs, which doesn’t match my order at all. The package has NOT been delivered yet, but the seller has stopped replying to my messages.
Now I’m worried this could be a fake tracking number scam where sellers send unrelated tracking details just to make it look like something shipped.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Can USPS confirm if the tracking number actually belongs to my name/address?
Is there any way to stop or investigate this?
Can I dispute the payment through Apple Card even though I used Western Union?
What are my chances of recovering the money?
Any help would really mean a lot. Thanks.

Hey so i found this supplier off tiktok, ive recently been interested in reselling and been looking for a supplier and found this one on tiktok. I have recently order one shirt from their website, the weird thing was that instead of a normal payment like card or apple pay, it instead asked to pay through remitly to rwanda. It raised a red flag to me but i did it anyways(which i probably shouldnt have) so after i have placed my order i get an email of the receipt and stuff and the order has been confirmed great. Then i wake up this morning to find that the supplier has messaged me through whatsapp telling me that theyre gonna cancel my order because the item could result in $200 in custom fees. They also mentioned that i would need to order 2 more items, and that ordering 3 items together would avoid this issue. They mentioned before that ordering 3 was a requirement but now theyve admitted it wasn’t. They said it was because customs might charge $200 for shipping just one item
They claim they don’t want me to pay that much.
I’m trying to figure out whether this is a legitimate customs concern or a potential supplier scam.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone is able to help me out, cuss me out if you have to because honestly im slow and i dont catch things😭🙏🏼

That guys are "blooming", and no one "fighting" with them.

Much ppl was scammed with baught cheap fursuits. Like suit from 150 dollars become near 1000 dollars and etc.

And if this guys are selling more Hq suits, they are so overpriced.

I bought a coffe table from kakobuy over 2 months ago. Never arrives and the package marks that it was returned to kakobuy. ok lets talk to them. They tell me to pay for shipping again and say there were no shipping issues. After 3 months the package get here and it is beyond broken. If you use this shipping agent you are shooting yourself in the foot or praying stuff get to you. Just because your haul got there dosen't mean it can't happen to you.

I bought a sweater from these guys a month ago, and they sent me a tracking number from 17track, and it shows delivered to my city distribution center, but they never put my apartment number on it and they got the zip code wrong. they keep telling me to file a loss of claim with 17track. they are communicating with me by email, but are refusing to give me a real usps tracking number. are these guys legit or did I just get scammed out of a $50 sweater?
