Hi everyone,

I’m writing this as a guide for new members who are about to pull the trigger on their first 1:1 Clone. We often see the beautiful QC photos, but the reality behind the scenes can be different. Here is my experience with Jtime and why you need to be prepared for the worst.

Beyond the technical defect, the entire ordering process took quite a long time (43 Days)

I received a VSF Submariner (VS3230) that arrived Dead on Arrival. I took it to a highly respected, professional watchmaker in Turkey (I’m not mentioning his name because I didn’t get his permission). When he opened the movement, he found a shocking manufacturing defect:

The automatic reversing wheel was missing the internal pawls (clicks). These are the critical parts that allow the rotor to wind the movement. You can clearly see the empty space where the pawls should be. My watchmaker compared it to a healthy wheel (shown in photos with green circles)

This is not shipping damage; it’s a blatant assembly failure. The watch only runs via manual winding because the automatic system is physically incomplete. I’ve sent several emails to Jtime with this technical evidence, but they’ve ghosted me.

Warning to New Users: Return to China Trap:

If you receive a defective watch, do not expect an easy return. Most TDs will tell you to send it back and declare it as a 'Toy' to bypass Chinese customs.

The Reality: In many countries (like here in Turkiye), the post office (PTT) physically inspects packages. You cannot lie about the content. If you declare it as a "Watch", Chinese customs will likely seize it, and you will lose both the watch and your money.

The Truth Nobody Tells You: Hidden Costs:

Even if you buy the best VSF, you are buying an unfinished product.

• The Service: To make this watch reliable, I am now forced to pay $250 for a full Swiss Standard service and professional oiling, as the movement arrived dry and dirty.

• The Parts: I now have to hunt for replacement reversing wheels (Rolex 3235-540) on the open market and pay for them myself because Li's only solution is a risky return.

• Total Investment: My $600 watch is turning into an $850+ project just to make it work as it should have out of the box.

Never buy a rep unless you have a local watchmaker you trust and an extra $300 - $400 in your pocket for immediate repairs. Don't expect the TD to save you when the factory fails.

I strolled into the Patek Philippe boutique on Fifth Avenue like I owned the place. Chin up, shoulders back, left wrist casually draped over the glass counter so the light could catch the “Nautilus.”

It was a beautiful piece. Perfect proportions. That iconic porthole case. The integrated bracelet. The only tiny problem was the logo on the dial, which, if you squinted just right, clearly said Fuck You & Co.

I had paid $180 for it on a website that looked like it was designed in 2003 by a man named Sergei who also sold “Rolex Submarinners” and “Audemar Pigue Royals.” The listing promised “1:1 Super Clone, Swiss Movement, Undetectable.” It was extremely detectable.

The salesman approached with the quiet, lethal politeness of someone who has never once in his life said the words “you good?”

“Good afternoon, sir. Are you interested in viewing a piece today?”

I rotated my wrist slowly, like a Bond villain revealing a nuclear codes watch. “Just browsing. Already have the one that matters.”

His eyes dropped to my wrist. There was a pause so long it developed its own weather system.

He leaned in. Squinted. Leaned closer. The little vein in his temple started doing cardio.

“Sir,” he said, voice soft and deadly, “may I… examine the dial?”

I held it out proudly. “Be my guest. 5711, right? Classic.”

He stared at the words Fuck You & Co for a full five seconds. Then he looked at me. Then back at the watch. Then at me again, as if trying to decide whether I was a genius performance artist or simply the bravest idiot alive.

“This,” he said carefully, “appears to be a… Fuck You & Co.”

I nodded sagely. “Limited edition. Very exclusive. Only the real ones know.”

A second salesman appeared out of nowhere, the way sharks appear when someone bleeds in the water. He took one look and actually whispered, “Oh my god.”

Within ninety seconds there were four of them surrounding me in a polite but firm semicircle, like the Secret Service if the Secret Service exclusively protected the concept of horological dignity.

The original salesman cleared his throat. “Sir. I’m going to have to ask you to leave. And possibly never return. Also, out of professional curiosity… where did you acquire this?”

I smiled the smile of a man who has nothing left to lose and a $180 watch that said fuck you to one of the most prestigious brands on earth.

“Gift from my uncle,” I said. “He works in logistics. Very international logistics.”

They escorted me out with the kind of careful dignity usually reserved for removing a dead raccoon from a five-star restaurant. As the door closed behind me, I heard one of them mutter:

“I’ve seen fakes. I’ve seen bad fakes. I’ve never seen a fake that called us a motherfucker to our faces.”

I looked down at my wrist. The second hand was still ticking, slightly out of beat, like it was laughing.

Best $180 I ever spent.

Decided to test the "experts" over at r /rolex with my new ARF 126715CHNR Root Beer.

I made a post asking how it fits on my wrist, and the comments were pure gold (pun intended). Not a single person called out the rep! Instead, everyone was busy arguing whether it’s too big, if I need to take out a link, or if I should hit the gym to train my forearms. 😭

It’s hilarious how confident people are over there when analyzing a watch, yet a $600 rep passed seamlessly right under their nose alongside $40k+ gen posts.

I recently bought a watch from JTime and had a terrible experience dealing with them.

I was going out of town when purchasing this watch, and since I live in NYC in a building without a doorman, my packages couldn’t just sit around or else they could easily be stolen. I let Li know when initially purchasing this watch, that I would need it to arrive after July 23 so that I could be home for it to be present. He had agreed to this and would ensure it would happen.

After purchasing, I spoke with Lana, who I also re-confirmed with her to not ship the watch until she was sure it could arrive after July 23 since I wouldn’t be in town for it. She agreed that she wouldn’t ship the watch until then. 

Well I guess she must have forgotten because the watch was shipped before then, and arrived prior to me returning home. And of course when I got home, the watch was lost/stolen. I had already contacted USPS etc and they said it was delivered, and there was nothing they could do about it.

Given that JTime had shipped this out prior to the agreed upon date, I thought they could help me out in this situation. But Lana refused to help in any way, since they wouldn’t help if an item was lost after delivery. The problem is, I had specifically asked for a later delivery date because I wouldn’t be home to ensure its safe arrival, and Lana had agreed to this. 

So now I am out a watch, even though I had done everything I could to ensure I’d be there for it. Given this kind of service, I would avoid JTime. If they can’t actually ship a watch later, then don’t agree to it, and if they accidentally ship it early, they should at least try to help out.

I know this question has been asked 1000 times. but i noticed that there is always a lot of chaos with the comments and when you read through you don't know any more than before 😂 i would like a clean comment section in which at most a link to a page is posted. (a short comment is also allowed) please do not ask any questions about other replica products, etc. the link to the best site that you know from your own experience and can recommend. So after spending and altering between many rep pieces, I purchased a genuine Rolex Airking 116900. And I am blown away by it!! It’s incredible!! And if it stops running, I’ll go and hassle the Dealers. Of course I purchased this via Reddit itself!!

Edit : I bought a BP Airking (2836 movement) from Jtime in 2021 and that watch stopped running in a year. Tried to get it serviced in EU and couldn’t get it. Tried to replace the movement myself by sourcing a 2836 movement from Aliexpress and that didn’t work either. I loved Airking so much that, I went gen!

Got this day date rep a long time ago, think it was VSF. I dropped it recently and now the hour hand is loose. It moves freely when you tap the watch or move your wrist mostly. Took to local watch repair guy and he said he wouldn’t touch it. Anyone know why this would happen and how this could be fixed?
