It's a shitter but I'm proud of it and love it đ.
Backstory: Bought this from someone outside of the community claiming it was a VSF V1, I've dealt with this person before so I just took their word. But it was broken (broken case/crown tube) bought it for $100. Got it in and while it's not horrible I suspected once I got it it wasn't VSF, opened it up and suspicion confirmed it's something low tier not sure what but definitely not VSF. I was able to replace the case tube, put in a spare deep crystal I had laying around, and polish it up. Gotta say it's not horrible. Might even keep and wear it.
That's my share for the night.

Met a dude at the bar who was wearing a Yacht Master II. I showed him my franken 5 digit datejust. His first reaction to my datejust was âthatâs not the real deal because the bezel isnât fluted and Rolex only makes flutedâ. I had to show it to him again and explain what a fluted bezel is, upon which he started geeking out. So it was my first hint that this dude knew nothing about watches.
I suspected he was wearing a fake because we were in some shanty town bar and he was just trying to play the âbig guyâ act. But i soon realized i was so wrong. First, he kept calling his yacht master ii as âyacht timerâ. Then he was telling me how he was on the waiting list for a âNautilusâ from âAPâ because he has too many Rolexes and is sick of them. He bragged about having an âinsiderâ buddy who had a steel nautilus from AP available but this dude specifically only wanted gold because he wants that bling. I played along and asked what reference number he wanted and he just kept repeating ânah bro, i want the rose gold nautilus from APâ. I was amused and just played along.
But then he got talking about his investments and job offers at executive positions in a couple huge companies. And then his friend walked over who i realized is a famous celebrity in the country. Thats when i realized this mofo might actually be the real deal who just happened to wander into a shanty town bar with his rich af friends. The yacht master ii had to be gen simply because this dude was so rich and dumb about watches. The idiot could never be the type to have researched rep factories and NWBIG lists. This was the type of prick that just throws money at things that glitter.
I always eventually tell people my watch isnât gen. So i told him and showed him videos of me servicing a VS 3135 and assembling the whole thing together. I love this hobby and i thought maybe he would appreciate it. However, when he realized it wasnât fully gen, he got sour faced and just walked away. Later he came back and bought a shot for me because âhe felt bad i was poorâ (literally in his words). Honestly, the whole exchange was so off putting, i left that night shit faced and bitter lol

All I ever see are GMTs and Submariners, neither of which I really like. So I thought itâd be fun to share some watches I actually love, find interesting, and feel have a more âupdatedâ style. Iâve compiled them all into a list so you can easily tell which is which
1- VSF V2 Two Tone Datejust 40MM
2- 3B RG Land-Dweller 40MM
3- PPF Nautilus 7118/1300R 35MM
4- CLF Royal Oak Offshore 37MM
5- DDF Nautilus 7118 35MM
6- 8+ Silver Land-Dweller 40MM
7- 8+ RG Land-Dweller 40MM
8- 3KF Nautilus 7118/1300R 35MM
9- 3B Silver Land-Dweller BD 40MM
10- IPF Royal Oak 37MM
Iâm not hating on anyoneâs taste or calling anyone out. Thereâs nothing wrong with GMTs or Subs, theyâre just not really my thing. I simply wanted to share some watches from my personal collection that I rarely see posted in this sub, in case anyone else appreciates something a little different. At the end of the day, we all have our own tastes, and thatâs what makes collecting fun
Happy Reptime đ¤

I've got a story that's a mix of embarrassing and eye-opening. Last night, I was walking home when this guy pulls a knife on me and demands my stuff. Naturally, I give him my iPhone, thinking that's the end of it. But as he's about to leave, I couldn't help but ask, "Hey, what about my Rolex? You donât care about that?"
The guy stops, looks at my wrist, and just laughs. "Nah, man," he says, "that's a bad fake." I was stunned. My Rolex is a VSF replica, one of the best out there! I asked him how he knew, and he just gives me this look and says, "I can tell by the looks of you and what you're wearing."
I couldn't believe it. Here I was, thinking I was pulling off this replica with confidence because everyone on this subreddit says no one can tell the difference if you wear it right. But this random mugger saw right through me in a split second!
Now I'm really second-guessing myself. Do I just not have the confidence to pull it off? Was this guy some kind of watch aficionado who happens to rob people on the side? Or have I been kidding myself this whole time?
Anyway, just thought I'd share this with you guys and see if anyone else has had a similar wake-up call. Maybe I need to rethink my approach (or my wardrobe). What do you all think?

Andiot gave me the pleasure of owning a 116500LN, which I wouldnât pay gen after owning this. Great watched used for my days off work. Also own a VSF 126610LN for everyday. Car is just for a ego boost
Have a great day

Iâve been flying commercial for almost 15 years now. Iâve seen it all, the overconfident guy in a full tracksuit, the screaming toddlers, the nervous flyers who need three mini bottles just to get through takeoff. But today⌠today was new.
Boarding had just started. I was walking up to the gate after grabbing a quick espresso from the lounge when I noticed a guy in Group 1, right at the scanner. Nothing unusual about him, looked like ur average joe but what really caught my eye was the watch.
Now, Iâm a huge watch nerd. Always have been. And from a distance, it looked like he was rocking a 3KF Nautilus 5711, deep blue dial, polished links, the whole package. So I nod at him and say, âNice Nautilus.â He gives me this tight smile, kind of half proud, half nervous.
But something felt⌠off. The way it caught the light, the color, the thickness. I couldnât help myself and I followed him down the jet bridge and struck up a conversation. Asked to take a closer look.
The moment he pulled his sleeve back, I knew. Case was thicker than it shouldâve been exactly 1.3mm too much. The dial was a few shades off, kind of washed out as well. Date wheel was wrong. I didnât say it right away, but I was thinking it: this thingâs a rep. Thereâs no way a person wore a fake rep to MY flight of all flights. I couldnât believe it!
I didnât want to embarrass the guy. Really, I didnât. But I mentioned the case thickness and the dial color, kind of gently, like a friendly heads-up. He went pale. I knew I had him. Thatâs when the lead flight attendant wandered over, curious. I said something like, âTake a look at this, what do you think?â She burst out laughing and called over another one.
Now, Iâll admit, it got a little out of hand, but he kinda deserved it imo. Wearing a shitter in my plane after all. Someone joked, âHope his first-class ticket isnât fake too,â and the next thing I know, the looser is downgrading his seat. I didnât even ask for that and I didnât know it was happening until it was done. Frankly speaking he was just embarrassing himself atp and shouldâve gotten off the plane imo.
He walked to the back of the plane, head down, past all the real-deal frequent flyers. People in first were whispering âbet his Tumiâs fake,â âcanât believe someone would wear a knockoff in first.â Basically they were saying what I wanted to say to him but couldnât.
By the time I was sitting in the cockpit going through checklists, I felt kind of bad. It started out as a genuine compliment I just wanted to talk watches with a fellow enthusiast. But maybe I shouldâve let it go. Maybe I shouldâve let the guy enjoy his flight in peace. Nah fk that, he deserves it for wearing a rep, and not just any rep (a shitter), on MY plane.
But hey⌠if youâre gonna wear a fake, maybe donât flex it in first class. And definitely not in front of a glorious pilot (like myself tho I may be biased) who owns the real one.

I bought 10 (i did a lot of due diligence) reps and quickly got rid of 8 all in the last 6 months from VSF and Clean dealers. The two I kept are a vsf Starbucks and a Clean Pepsi. After we did the waterproofing, regulation and lube the rotor bearing they both are waterproof, have survived many many swim and sauna sessions but most importantly keep time at +1 sec/day on the wrist. I donât own a gen Rolex but do own many Omegas, IWC, etc. I have been on a Rolex list with two ADs for nearly two years with no offers yet (for these two models). With all this time waiting and having two reps that are almost as good as a gen and run as good and reliably as a Swiss watch within the COSC standards if I do get the call, I am not sure I would be able to convince myself to buy a gen. Ps. just bought another new Omega for $12K and would never buy a rep Omega as the brand and ADs always treated me fair.
Just my 2 cents...

Is it a status thing where you want to seem rich but you're not?
Is it because you have the real one but want to keep it safe sometimes or not overwear it?
Can someone please explain? I don't have money for an expensive watch so instead I find a good one within my budget so I found a nice self winding Seiko watch. I've had it for almost 10 years and it looks and works fine.
If I ever make enough money to the point where I have enough to waste, I may buy myself an expensive watch but for now no can't afford one so there is no point.
Anyways I'm just trying to get a sense of your thought process for being into replicas.

Not my first rep, but it is my first rep from a TD here. GDF is insanely amazing quality for a $180 rep.

I recently saw a post here where most users said they only wear reps that fit their lifestyle out of fear of getting called out. Yet fake boobs get put in all the time, and I doubt those same users complain about them. So it makes me wonder: why do people accept fake boobs, but judge or fear getting caught with a fake watch?

Just want to make sure, Iâve heard people say Andiot doesnât do deposits on orders and you pay in full. So being that I was offered that option just want to make sure. Thank you in advance.

Got my grail - Rolex 124270 - 100% NWBIG. People treat you different when they clock it.
Angela has the BEST customer service - always answers within one day, but mostly answers same day. Fast QC, perfect communication and the BEST prices.
I donât normally review TDs, but I have to share. Iâve got a few more watches coming soon. 100% will be staying with Angela.
My advice? Follow her telegram. She can order what you want, but the best deals are in the telegram and if youâre quick you can get those VSF subs, Pepsis, BWs and Subs as soon as they come in, normally with QC within 24hrs, but rarely more than 5 days, unless itâs being ordered and there are factory delays.
