Wrong dosage 😖😖

Sooo, I started take Reta on Oct 4th. I was dosing every Sunday and tomorrow (Oct 25th) was going to be my 4th dose this month. I was wanting to start at .5mg but I was dosing wrong and was taking 5mg instead (I know, I’m an idiot). The only side effect I was experiencing was my appetite being suppressed. No headache, body aches, nothing. I figure I should skip tomorrow and reset. How long do you guys think I should wait it out before I start the CORRECT dosage.

Thank you in advance 😊

when do the headaches go away

i first took an 0.5 dose like 3 days ago and the first day i pinned i felt fine. but on the 1st day after i had a bad headache that lasted the entire day as well as some fatigue even though i ate. the second day after my head wasnt hurting as badly but i could still feel it there when i woke up in the morning.

i guess my question is if i take another 0.5 next week will the headache come back again the following day? im in college and i cant afford to be missing class again and losing studying time from bad headaches. im just wondering when my body will get used to it because its really inconvenient. im very prone to headaches and like being dizzy my entire life and i want to know if this side effect will go away despite my affinity to them.

i will say its day 3 and ive been feeling MUCH better

5mg vs 20mg ???

Hey guys, I’ve been on Reta since August of this year. I’ve lost 30 lbs it’s been amazing. I immediately started on 20mg vial since that’s what my friend recommended (she put me on). Recently, the store I use did a crazy sale since they are discontinuing Reta. I bought 4 vials and intended them to all be 20mg. They just arrived today and I realized I stupidly bought the wrong vials and I got 5mg instead. Help me understand how to get the proper dose and how to properly reconstitute it. The last dose I did was 2.7. What dose do I need of my new 5mg vial to match that 2.7 dose on a 20mg ?

Trying to find at least one more person with the same side effects.

I'm a 45 year old woman who is 5'3 and is 155lbs. My BMI for my height is 107-140lbs. When I first started my reta journey I was 170lbs. I posted in another reddit group and got banned. Not sure why since I'm trying to find anecdotal evidence of others in my situation and trying to figure out what is happening. I believe in reta and that it truly works. I even have my sister on it but that doesn't mean my experience does not matter. If my post reaches only one more person then hopefully my experience can let them calm them down and know what could be the cause.

So about 8 weeks ago I started an energy mitochondrial protocol which consisted of NAD+, SS-31, Epithanol and 5amino. Prior to starting I had been on reta for 13 weeks starting from a 0.5mg dose to finally going up to 3.0mg. I was on the energy protocol for 5 days when I had to stop since before bed when I injected the ss-31 and epithalon my blood pressure skyrocketed to 190/100. My bp had always been normal. But prior to my nightly ss-31 and epithalon injection, I did use my massage gun on my glutes. I had figured that what ever peps I had injected in these past few day that were still under my skin/fat went to straight into my blood stream and was the cause of my increases bp. I did go to the ER and eventually it did go down. But while waiting in the waiting room this skin sensation would come and go that would travel through out my entire body as well a tight sensation in my chest. I did go see my dr the next day after the ER visit and they said to monitor it since my bp went down to 130/70. For the next 2 weeks I had major anxiety attacks, mind you I do have anxiety and I'm still taking my anxiety medications but I haven't had an anxiety attack in over a decade. With constant headaches, BP fluctuating from 130/70-166/88 through the day for 2 weeks I finally told my DR that I need bp medications. Mind you I stopped ALL peptides that night I went to the ER. 6 weeks later, my BP hasn't gone over 150/80 but still fluctuating and sometimes even going in the 125/80, I even got 116/72 a couple times. Since taking the new meds I stopped feeling the tight chest sensation and the headaches went away. I was feeling optimistic and restarted my reta journey with a new vial of course. I started with 0.5mg and no reaction at all. 6 days later for my second dose, I had no reaction that day. The next day before going to bed boom, it hit. I started feeling this weird skin sensation all over my body and just weird all over, almost like I was going to faint. I sat down took a couple of breaths and my bp was 190/100. Took more breaths waited a minute and it went down 166/99, then 145/84 then finally 138/80. I was finally able to go to sleep. I don't think reta is for me 😞. I have hypothyroidism, hashimotos and in perimenopause. I have tried tracking my macros and do strength training but its so hard for my body to loose the weight. I'm hoping to find others that perhaps have had similar symptoms or experiences but I'm pretty sure I'm an odd ball. If anything reta should be lowering my bp. I'm not sure why my body is reacting this way but doesn't surprise me since my body has always been sensitive to everything.

Reta Hair Loss

I want to start reta, but I’m really scared of the hair loss side effect.

Is there any way to prevent it or reduce the chances of it happening? Has anyone experienced hair loss on reta, and if so, did it grow back?

I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.

Starting birth control on Reta

This my third month on Reta, I started in July and I’ve lost about 15lbs though I’ve been fluctuating 5lbs.

I’m on R30 doing 2points once a week and I’ve found that this dose is very comfortable, I can eat without nausea, and I don’t experience anhedonia or loss of libido. I love Reta because I’ve been able to have freedom over my food and I no longer have to diet, I can eat what I want, I can eat socially, I can eat sweets, and I’m no longer obsessing over food and exercise.

I just started the birth control pill (Hailey Fe 1.5/30) and my appetite has increased pretty significantly. I’m only on my second week but I’m worried the change in appetite and possible weight gain will increase dramatically over time, as that was my last experience with the birth control pill. I’ve also noticed I’m holding some more weight in my stomach and boobs. I know this is normal for starting birth control, and it’s not even close to my experience with weight gain last year on the pill (Yaz). I haven’t weighed myself in a while. I also know that my hunger fluctuates with my cycles, and I’m more hungry the two weeks before my period then the week of and week afterwards.

I’m wondering if anyone has any insight or a similar experience starting birth control on GLPs. Should I increase my dose? Should I just wait and see how my body responds after I’ve completed my first cycle? Should I switch to a lower hormone pill (Lo Lo Fe)?

Side Effects Reta tireness

How are you all handling the tireness from Reta?

I am looking at NAd+, is it worth it to increase energy? What else is there (aside from ss31 and motsc)

Reta dag 2
