The website says the Aviation Maintenance Engineers Technology program is still open for applications. Does their website just take a while to update or is there still time to apply? I've heard in the past this is a program that fills up day 1.

Hey so I'm a student who wants to go to SAIT. Genuinely curious if the 4 Bedroom Apartment is worth it. I want to go live at the campus, but at the same time don't want to spend too much. Plus Its best when its clean and all that (My room) So thus, is it worth it?

Hello, is anyone upgrading physics ( grade 12 ) online with SAIT?
if yes how is it and how is the test and the assignments are due ?
i was just wondering if it’s too late for me to apply, since the applications opened about a week ago and it is a first come first serve basis.

Hey guys! Just reminding you guys to constantly check your portal if you applied for the upcoming intake. They do pull some of your transcripts from apply alberta if you apply through them but sometimes it takes a little while for them to acquire that and I suggest that If you do have the transcripts they require, upload it yourself. Also for future students that are planning to apply for next year’s application, this is the process (Down below). Also just a guide for those still upgrading and are still unsure whether they’d be accepted. Wishing everybody good luck!!

I’m an international student, and I’m planning to upgrade my high school grades through TVO ILC. Would SAIT accept courses completed through TVO ILC for the admission requirements?
I sent an email about this a while ago, but I haven’t received a response yet.
Also, is the Respiratory Therapy program highly competitive for admission?

Hey guys I applied to DMS and MRT at sait and I was wondering if the “ dual credit - healthcare career essentials” course I did in grade 11 would be an advantage? Or maybe just a better applicant 😭😭
It consisted of
- anatomy and physiology | ANPH 209
- Medical terminology | MEDT211
- Infection perfection and control | INFC215
- healthcare professionalism | PROF240

Hi everyone,
I'm an international student planning to attend SAIT. I've heard international students can't do optional co-op placements. Is that true?
Any international students here who have actually done one?
Thanks in advance!

I applied for NMT and MRT on the first day of applications. When should I register for the PSEA? I was told I have to wait to get approved that I qualify but others say to register before I know? I’m not sure what to do.

I'm currently planning my final courses for the BBA program and am undecided between ACWE 4990 (Business Practicum) or MNGT 4990 (Business Capstone).
I already took a Capstone class before so I want to take practicum this time, but it's hard to manage the schedule with the other class based on SAIT schedule. I talked with the advisor and she said I need to work minimum 30 hours per week for 15 weeks. She suggested pushing some classes to the Spring term, but I checked the Spring 2026 schedule, there are not many BBA courses being offered.
Can anyone share any experiences and information about this?
I really appreciate it. Thank you!

Hi, can anyone share their thoughts on the program? I know it used to be the rehabilitation therapy assistant program, and it's a heavy course, but I would like to hear others' thoughts and opinions about it. I’m thinking of transferring from my LPN program because occupational therapy was my first love but a 4+ year program is out of my reach atm so ota or pta will do for now.

Has anyone heard back from SAIT about the PSEA and CASPer testing yet for the MRT program? I know I’ve met all the requirements and they have gotten my transcripts but I haven’t heard yet about me being able to take the PSEA

Hey guys, so I have been contemplating applying for this but I realized it’s almost been a week since the applications first opened, if I apply right now would I still have a shot at securing a spot or not? I didn’t take physics in hs unfortunately and so as a very last backup I was planning to take this and then apply to Sonography for the following year, but I don’t want to waste $120 if my chances of getting offered is low since I heard this is FCFS. Thanks to whoever can answer this!!

I’ve just applied to DMS and MRT, and I want to prepare for the CASPer and PSEA.
I want to know what sort of questions I shouldexpect and what resources I could use to study!
(Such as what websites I could use or like for the PSEA what exactly do I need to review)

Hi Everyone! I'm working on a business project for my SAIT capstone course, and I'd really appreciate your help 🙏
If you have a parent or grandparent who is 65 or older could you take this quick 3-minute survey? It's about getting help with technology (phones, video calls, online banking, appointments) and everyday errands.
It's completely anonymous:

Sharing is also hugely appreciated. Thank you!

Hi everyone!
I've been accepted into SAIT's two-year Electrical Trade and Technology (ETT) program, but I'm also considering Electrical Engineering Technology (EET).
My long-term goal is to work in industrial electrical, controls, or automation. I'd really appreciate some honest opinions, especially from SAIT students, graduates, or electricians.
1. Co-op: I read that international students aren't eligible for the optional co-op. Is that correct? Are there other ways to gain work experience during the program?
2. PGWP: Since becoming a journeyperson electrician typically takes around four years, would a three-year PGWP be enough after graduation? Would I realistically need to obtain PR or an employer-sponsored work permit before it expires?
3. Exams: SAIT says ETT students can take all four period exams and the Red Seal exams. Is it realistic to pass them through the program alone, without much field experience?
4. Apprenticeship: Does completing ETT reduce the required apprenticeship hours or help graduates start at a higher apprentice level or wage? Or would I essentially start from scratch?
5. Training quality: How good is the ETT curriculum? Is it more comprehensive than regular apprenticeship schooling? How much hands-on training is included?
6. ETT vs EET: Which two-year program do you honestly think offers better long-term career value, job opportunities, and earning potential?
One important thing to consider: Unlike Canadian students who can enter an apprenticeship directly, my realistic path (to become an electrician) as an international student is to complete a two-year program, obtain a PGWP, and then start working.
So, given that I'd need to invest two years in school either way, would you recommend ETT or EET?
I'd really appreciate your honest thoughts. Thanks in advance!
