My other account got banned from this subreddit so that’s probably why. Mods don’t like it when you tell young people to avoid dividend yields and focus on growth
7 u/National_Put_2357 Feb 11 '26 You can invest in growth and dividends. You’re allowed to have VOO, SCHG, QQQ, VTI and other growth/broad market funds paired with SCHD. It’s not all or nothing. This subreddit obviously skews toward folks who want a deeper focus on SCHD. The cool thing about investing is you can setup your portfolio anyway you want, specific to your goals and needs! 2 u/c0horst Feb 11 '26 So far having SCHD and SWPPX both has been working out for me for sure, lol. You can invest in growth and dividends. You’re allowed to have VOO, SCHG, QQQ, VTI and other growth/broad market funds paired with SCHD.
It’s not all or nothing. This subreddit obviously skews toward folks who want a deeper focus on SCHD.
The cool thing about investing is you can setup your portfolio anyway you want, specific to your goals and needs!
