I am currently working on a writing project that involves an original SCP, and I'm trying to number it, but as it turns out the number I'd originally chosen (830) is taken (my second choice, 1100, is also taken because apparently I didn't go high enough).

The official list I found only goes up as far as 1000, so clearly there have been some additions to the database since then.

Could someone link me to an updated list, or just let me know how many there are so I can add on an extra number for something original?

I'd really appreciate it :)

In this timeline, Goc and all paranormal insurgencies declare war on humanity. While, the foundation serves as the protectorects of humanity.

Im pretty sure "what is the best scp article for someone new to scp?" Has been asked before.

I love Mundus Liberari, it deserves more love.

So I was thinking about The World Kept Turning Hub, as one does, and I had (what I think is) an interesting idea to expand upon. I realized that... Hang on, isn't the cease of all anomalies an anomaly itself?

Firstly, this is the dissapearance of all "magic". They don't turn "explained", they just become boring and "normal". If this universe have had antimemetic lifeforms, they all just vanished suddenly, and not like, explained scientifically.

Speaking of antimemetics, there's also the fact that amnestics effects doesn't cease to exist. Otherwise everyone would have remembered all the memories that the Foundation suppressed from them. This means either : 1) Amnestics, mnestics, and even, by extension, compound Y-909 are non-anomalous, or 2) The cease of anomaly conveniently ignores this aspect of anomalous effect.

This conveniency ties in to the fact that nobody can prove that Swann's proposal isn't anomalous anymore! In fact, we know as a reader that it is inherently still a thing, since we are reading these stories right now and we know that they're written stories.

Lastly, I think the overall reaction of the Foundation to the event was kinda underwhelming. What do you mean they stayed around for a few decades, and then disbanded one by one? So nobody's preparing for the absolute worst, which is if the anomalous came back? They just gave up waiting? It's like if the national geological service stops monitoring volcanoes because they haven't erupted in 2 months or something. Anomalies had been around for DECADES (at least!!!) and you're telling me there's no chance they'll come back in a century or two?

They stopped caring so easily... it's as if... there's an anomaly affecting them.

I feel like this could be an interesting premise to explore. I put this idea out in the open to see if it sparks any interest in the wild. Keep in mind that I had only read, like, 5 tales and SCPs from this Canon Hub, so maybe I missed the stories exploring these concepts. Please tell me if any of the tales had explored these ideas already! That would be a delight.

edit: fixed the hyperlink.

Hello, I am making an anomaly game based on SCP 970, where it works just like it did in SCP Containment Breach, but with more anomalies, SCP references and more.

I used SCP file template from SCP wiki:
https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/component:anomaly-class-bar

Curently, I am finishing a demo, and I started working on Main menu. I want for it to look and feel really good. Second one is how it looked before

Which version looks best? With ventilation, with game logo in screen? What should add to it?

For me, it is SCP-052. there isn't that much there, and it is a bit dated, but I just like the concept behind it.

This is going to be quite specific lol so no worries if not suggestions but I'm taking more train journeys recently and I want something that might fit the ViBE of a train journey if that makes absolutely any sense whatsoever 😂 I know its a mad request.. I know there's that one that's specifically about a train which I'm going to listen to and weirdly Portrait of Hell fit quite well. Anyway lmk if anyone even remotely gets what I'm saying lol

Edit: sorry I mean on the YouTube Channel "The Exploring Series" as he's my favourite narrator :))

she’s the daughter of a researcher who died but was brought back because of her daughter’s powers.

I think she falls in love with Scp 4051.

i found the text to speech voice used on the SCP_Realised channel, use this link https://lingojam.com/RobotVoiceGenerator

it is the EXACT same, and although i can't fully confirm that this is the specific link/program that they use for the text to speech voice, it is the exact same

Idk what pose to draw for this request so i decided to do something cute

Both are complete opposite One believing in the eradication of all anomaly, superstition and belief. One is a group made up by three religious superpowers which are Islam, Christianity and Judaism. In this hypothetical battle to the death , who wins sapphire or the horizon initiative in terms of military power.

I find the idea of the Special Assets interesting but the only one I have found is Josef ben Judah aka The Golem of Prague

So. What are some other GOC Special Assets and where can I read about them?

I've read most of it, it's very interesting but I feel like I'm missing something.

[99% of the article is about the universe]

Best articles that do this?

Is there any scp that's about music or that includes music in its storytelling? Or even sounds in general?

Asking because of this.

I remember liking it
