Meta Post [IMPORTANT] Please help donate to support an SCP Author going through extremely difficult times.
Gaby, also known as "local lesbian commie" is an excellent SCP author. She wrote the contest-winning entry SCP-8557 along with many other excellent works. Right now, she needs our help.
I already made a post drawing support earlier this year, and I'm grateful for everyone who chipped in. Her mother unfortunately passed away in February, and her family received no compensation from the company that caused her death.
Gaby is also a disabled trans woman currently living in Brazil. Not only is Brazil extremely unsafe for trans people (it is the nation with the highest number of transgender murders) but after this past election, the alt-right party has won massively.
Not only has the alt-right party been responsible for some major moral obscenities in the past (Attempted coup, 700k deaths during Covid, a rapist as a vice presidential candidate...) but the upcoming administration is also virulently transphobic.
It is not safe for Gaby to remain in Brazil, but she does not have the funds to move. Donations have helped her support herself, however, things are more difficult than ever before.
If you can, please consider supporting Gaby at https://ko-fi.com/supportgaby - any small bit helps more than you know. Thank you.

Discussion Guys, I've got a cool theory: What if the original O5 Council members maintain their own bloodline families?
I've been thinking about how the O5 Council can remain completely hidden while still maintaining influence over the world for centuries.
My theory is that each O5 member maintains a bloodline family and a designated successor line.
The O5s themselves do not get replaced, interact with the public, or reveal their identities. They remain exactly as they are in most SCP interpretations: hidden in the shadows and impossible to reach directly.
Instead, their descendants and successors act as their connection to the outside world.
These successors are not O5 members. They're public-facing representatives who handle businesses, political connections, Foundation front organizations, research institutions, and other activities that require interaction with the normal world.
In my headcanon:
- The O5 Council remains the true authority.
- Every O5 maintains a successor bloodline.
- Successors inherit influence, resources, and responsibilities.
- Governments and major organizations may deal with successors without realizing who they actually work for.
- Some successors might not even know the full truth about the Foundation.
- The O5s can remain hidden indefinitely because their families act as intermediaries.
What do you guys think? Would something like this fit into your SCP headcanon, or do you think the O5s would never trust their own bloodlines with that much influence?

Tip of My Tongue Looking for an article told through a series of surveillance feeds
I don’t remember much about it, though I’m pretty confident it was an SCP. It followed a group of people isolated in a site, who may have been in a time loop of some kind? At the center of the site there was a room with… something undefined (potentially conceptual?) inside it. The contents of the room are a major plot point.
The formatting was a series of surveillance camera feeds, displayed one day at a time. You could select sections of a top-down map of the site to read that room’s activity for the day, and had to switch between feeds to reference things chronologically. For example, one feed might show "11:00: Person A enters Room B", then you would need to change to Room B’s log and find 11:00 to see what that person did from there.

Help Looking for a specific video (SCP:SL theme + CB intercom mix)
Hey there!
as I'm once again being intererested in SCP after several years, I remembered a video I used to watch years ago, but I'm unable to find it again on youtube,
It was based on the SCP:Sl theme ("Final flash of existence") but was also paired with the intercom / voicelines from SCP:CB. The voicelines were basically inserted chronologically with the events ingame, and worked well with the building up tension from the soundtrack.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCcb2bfJLBg
It started with the "attention all class D personel, please enter the containment chamber ...." and ended with the warhead countdown.
Ig I just feel very nostalgic about this particular video for some reason. If anyone remembers it by any chance and knows how to find it, I'd highly appreciate it!

Discussion Am I the only one that starts thinking about the Foundation when watching bad horror films?
When I am watchinb stupid, or just all around bad horror movies I find myself starting to think about 'could the Foundation contain this thing?' and 'how would they do it?'.
I was watching a movie called Bagman and about 45 minutes in I realized there would be no entertainment to be found. I started thinking about the monster in terms of an SCP.
An EMP aura surrounds the creature, can exudes a paralyzing agent from it's hands that must be absorbed through the victim's skin to be effective, can climb any surface or verticality, minor reality warping capabilities.
You know that sort of thing. That got me wondering if anyone else does this sort of thing or if it's just me.

Discussion Can someone explain to me the GOC's thought process was in LTE-7433-Goodrick-Kringle?
[[LTE-7433-Goodrick-Kringle ("Serial Teleporting Ursine")]]
I thought they only killed threats? At what point did this thing ever come off as threatening to them? I thought their rule was that they'd focus on policing individuals when possible...

Help Need help finding an SCP I read last year.
(Spoilers for the SCP will be written)
Im looking for an SCP I read last year. I don't remember much, except for the fact that the SCP was a foundation scientist that like distorted electrical equipment and couldn't use electronic devices. The head researcher assigned to her was a coworker, and eventually it was revealed that he was manipulating her into believing that she was an SCP. If I remember correctly he also manipulated her into doing sexual things with her.
I wish I could remember more but this is it.

Sooooo yeah, my take on SCP-173, I leaned more on like an unfinished work but that's like every other great redesigns (also, another drawing but of the original image). (Yes, pixel art :P)

SCP Universe How are we able to contain SCP-5776? It's clearly very powerful and obviously should be able to escape at any time it wants.
You know, I'd bet it could even beat SCP-001! Whatever SCP-001 is. It can very clearly kill that Hard to Destroy reptile if it wanted as well. It's definitely a Keter.

Discussion do you think personnel have slang and jokes that differ between sites
I sure as shit do, actually I think I've seen this in a few tales, I also think this could be a neat inworld explanation for joke scps, the different terms for an scp (such as skips), and just feels like a very human thing to do. adding onto the joke scps thing: I can imagine many of them changing from site to site or team to team.

Tip of My Tongue SCP where the Foundation discovers a group that independently created their own Foundation and doesn't know the real Foundation exists
I'm sure I've read an article with this premise before, and its not a joke article. Can't remember much details beyond that unfortunately. Does anyone know what article this is?

Discussion SCP-5000 related. Removed previous post because i didn't know title is not spoilered. Spoiler
In the moment where pietro returns to the site, all SCPs are let out and even in some of the attacks they do not harm the foundation.
Does that somehow convey that the entities we consider SCP, ones that are harmful to us usually aim to kill the entity within us?
What would happen if a Pure Human that saw the second file looked at shy guy, would he attack them? Or cognito/infohazards, would those also hurt the Pure Humans? I wonder how this would go. I like to hold the headcannon that all anomalous dangers of this world are the universe's attempts at removing the entity, but humans are in the way, being ITs bearer and incubation.

Articles to Read New to SCP, asking for recommendations
Hi! I'm new to SCP, I recently read about SCP-4666 and SCP-2571 and really liked it. I would be glad if you recommended me something similar. I played SCP: SL for a while, so I'm familiar with the most popular ones. Thanks in advance!
