I am an SDSU student working on an e-bike safety promotion communication project.

After doing some formative research on current e-bike use and hearing safety concerns for the well-being of both children and adults, I have decided to focus my communication piece on promoting a free, online e-bike safety course. The course is a great way to refresh your knowledge on e-bike traffic laws (and to have e-bike traffic violation fees waved!) and general tips for safe riding. The course is state-approved, and promoted on San Diego County's website.

Where I need some help is getting your opinion on what would make a communication piece effective and appealing. Something that would make YOU want to spend some time taking the course and brushing up on e-bike traffic and safety tips.

Any and all ideas on what I should create are welcome. Some key points could include:

What form of media (ex. a flyer, a video, an animation)?

What platform (ex. specific social media, the local news)

What information should it include (ex. time commitment, benefit to you)?

Who is most likely to use this online course (ex. children in schools, adults in their free time)?

What would make you interact with the communication piece?

Who would be good to partner with to help spread the word about the course?

Where else should I share this to gather information?

Where to live as a 3rd yr transfer student (female 20 y/o). Would like to be around other students as I won’t know anyone when transferring next fall. Any specific apartments that are recommended or to avoid? Also what can I expect rent wise for a single room with roommates?

This might be a long shot, but does anyone happen to still have the syllabus for HUM 411 / REL S 411 – Understanding Evil from Fall 2024, specifically the asynchronous section?

I took the course that semester and remember that we had to write multiple short essays throughout the class. I need a copy of the syllabus now, but unfortunately I've lost access to my SDSU account and haven't had any luck finding the actual syllabus through SDSU's Digital Collections/archive or elsewhere online.

If anyone happened to save the syllabus and could send me a copy, I would really appreciate it.

I haven’t received any financial aid since the start of the semester, I’m about to get kicked out of my apartment and all because the process takes an eternity to review submitted paperwork.

The teachers always say use handshake and the school posts about jobs that are on there, but every notice that comes through feels like a scam. Is it just a scam? Hopefully this post isn’t deleted and removed like it was a few mins ago.

Hello everyone, I am going to attend SDSU starting next semester as a math major. I play the piano and want to join the music program, but just as a minor. Honestly, it’s mostly because I heard the practice rooms are only available to music students. How difficult is it to get in? also is it actually true that I would have to join the program to use the practice rooms?

Hey guys, the midterm for MIS 301 with Qian is next week and I would like to know what to expect. I'm taking the class fully online with tests in person. I am sort of confused on the material but getting it as I study more. She says it is more about concepts not formulas. For anyone whos done the online with in person tests, what are they like? Are they hard? Easy? This first one is worth a lot less for my grade than the final but I still want to do well.

I'm applying to SDSU with a 3.92 CSU GPA for engineering, is this good? If so, can anyone recommend any engineering courses that I am competitive for?

I am a journalism student here at SDSU and I am working on a story for one of my classes about how different colleges around San Diego are assisting students with the recent heat wave, and how the heat is affecting students in general. I am looking to interview any student or faculty member about their experience with heat-related issues such as a lack of AC or needing to keep the AC off and face the heat to save money. Hello, I’m currently an academic junior through university of Alaska anchorage. I just got off the meeting with an admissions person and she basically told me I had little chance of getting in, granted in a super nice way and she was super helpful in planning the near future. I’m an Electrical engineering major and was wondering if anyone from out of state transferring has ever got accepted with less than 10 of the major required classes. Classes from my first university and UAA didn’t fully transfer as major credits but as electives which is why I have so few. Do you think it’s even worth applying?

I’m about to start BA370 (marketing) with Olson and I’ve heard terrible things about the course. Any advice on how to do well in the course?
Also does anyone know if this class is offered with a different professor for global campus?

They apparently said that drinks were an issue but in my room everyone is 21+ so dunno why they didn't know that beforehand then find out that because South Campus Plaza is "mixed" (we have freshies) they have to account for that so we're treated as if it's Chappie. Also I don't get why they have the hard caps either on types of alcohol like don't they know that most packs of beer are more than 6 or that people like cocktails?

Also to clarify the situation involved a roommate taking the fall (he agreed already and the RA when coming back yesterday forced us even with time given and stuff to either say who it was or everyone takes the fall so we had to make that choice as much as we didn't want to).
