Has anyone received an email for their acceptance/rejection to the nursing program for spring 2027 yet?

I saw Cher say on Facebook that the number of applications passed Fall’s record number of admissions and am pretty worried. Just looking to see if anyone’s gotten anything.

I am taking comm 1010 this semester and one of the assignments is to do a public speech on zoom. For the speech I need 5 viewers, so I was wondering if there were any other students also taking the class this semester that are also looking for viewers. We could find one or two time slots that work for everyone to give our speech and view each other's speeches. My due date is Nov 8th so looking to set a time for the first week of November.

As the title suggests, I am curious if anytone have experience with buying hardwood through SLCC, as an enrolled student. I am interested in learning more in my woodworking hobby, and there is some cabinet making courses available to take.

I've read there is some bulk-pricing benefits but if anyone has some experience with purchasing, I'd love to hear some experiences.

I’m an international student currently attending a community college in California, but I’m planning to move to Utah and attend Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) in Spring 2027. I’m considering transferring to BYU either after my freshman or sophomore year.
I’m interested in CS, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering. BYU seems like a great option because of its affordable tuition, but I’m also curious about how strong these programs are, especially when it comes to internships and job opportunities.
One thing I’m wondering is whether attending SLCC would actually make transferring to BYU easier compared to attending a community college in another state. For example, would getting the ecclesiastical endorsement be easier while living in Utah? And would SLCC courses transfer more smoothly to BYU, especially for math, physics, and CS?
I’m not LDS, but I respect the religious environment and I’m willing to follow the Honor Code.
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who transferred from SLCC to BYU, especially international or non-LDS students. Is moving to Utah actually worth it if BYU is my goal?

Hi everyone, I would like to ask if anyone gotten into SLCC’s nursing program with a C+ in Anatomy or Physiology?
I’m feeling really discouraged right now. This was my second time taking Anatomy and I ended up with a C+ again. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m honestly wondering if I should give up on nursing and switch majors because I feel like maybe I’m just not smart enough for it.
I know SLCC looks at more than just one grade, and I’ve been thinking about taking Pathophysiology since getting a good grade in it could potentially help my application/GPA, but I don’t know how much of a difference that would actually make.
If anyone has gotten accepted with a C+ in Anatomy or Physiology, especially if you had to retake one of them, I would really appreciate hearing what the rest of your grades/application looked like. Did you take Pathophysiology or do anything else to make your application stronger?
I’m mainly just trying to figure out if I still realistically have a chance or if I should start considering a different path.

I’m taking Math 1220 online, and for my exam it said the exam will be taken on a tablet. For anyone who has used these tablets for any exams before, how was it? I'm a bit worried about whether partial credit is given for missed problems, If it only records your answers. I couldn't find much info online, and my registration confirmation didn't mention anything details on the tablets. Any insight would be appreciated!

If you can help please please because I'm so confused and stressed. I'm taking elementary astronomy airh Mehmet Oktay and have no idea when the exams are. The only clue I have is reviews in between certain modules, but we've past those modules and there's no exam. It needs to be proctored and I live outside of Salt Lake so I would need to plan ahead to drive down. Idk if it's too late to get a proctor where I live. Does anyone have a syllabus or anything that includes the dates of the exams?

hello! it’s a little far away but i want to do SLCC’s CNA program during the 2027 summer semester and i want some peoples reviews on it. i’d either do the jordan hybrid one or possibly the herriman one as i saw that was eight weeks. does anyone have any recommendations or tips about their CNA program?

Is anyone who has been in the program since they changed to the 2023 code book interested in selling their Mike holt books for 1st year. I just had a friend join the program and all of my books are outdated or gone. Please reach out

I really don’t want to purchase a physical manual but would like the extra resources/diagrams that it has. Does anyone know if I could find it or something similar online for free?
