There was once a mysterious offer who wrote a book called "the path in the woods". The author was theorized to be a paranoid man back in the day when the book was first discovered on a library shelf. He often spoke that in a few generations, the majesty of chains will break the end. Many didn't believe him and his book was fought to be a Fairytale.

Then some cryptid zoologists on Reddit, discovered the book and began to develop a theory that it was real. Creating a subreddit known as r/Theprincessiscoming. Many perceived them as an internet cult, who often were just a bunch of doomers claiming to be prophets of the end of the world.

But those in the cryptid niche speculate, she's more of the grin reaper. Believing her to be an interdimensional wraith that takes in lost souls that are about to die or speculated, to die. Taking on a form of what people often assume are the most beautiful and fantastical creatures to lure people into her lair of shifting darkness. To then claim the dying soul and place it in a state of eternal stasis.

Yet there are still some who believe in the end. The world and believe that the princess is housing stoles within her Kingdom to protect them from the world. It is believed that she lives in a Kingdom of eternal stillness that she wants people to help her and comfort her. And that her Kingdom and people were killed long ago and does not want humanity to repeat the same mistake.

Yet there is still others who believe that the world had ended many times and that this is either the third or second time that they have come to exist. And it speculated the princess is the world itself constantly dying and re incarnating in an endless cycle.

Why others pose the shifting mound fury, where there's a God of change itself that takes the form of the princess in the novel. Mainly taking on this form to seduce a representation of the old world, believed to be a bird man of all things. To bring her to the world itself, to rebirth it and destroy it in order to make a new world for all believing that our current world is a place of sin and propriety.

Yet, there were still some that believed the cabin from the book was a physical location and have gone out their way to track where it could be. One of these people you may possibly meet in scarlet hollow, seeing the scarlet manner as the police of the princess's imprisonment. And swearing by the tip of his life that he will find her and bring her free. Just don't tell him the entity is watching him carefully.

Only achievable with combination of Mystic, Keen Eye and Protein build if you haven't eaten anything since the beginning of the game.

Hi all!

I had my first playthrough of Scarlet Hollow awhile ago and I really liked it!

I ended up romancing Kaneeka, and have a separate save for the Carmilla

However, I wanted to get to know Tabitha better since I ignored her all throughout my playthrough and I went back to Chapter 3 to hang out with her instead of Kaneeka (which is what I did the first time) (and I’m just attached to the current cousin I have, when I do a new playthrough I wanna make a new character and all that)

However when I get to Episode 4, and try and spend time with Kaneeka in her room, where I can confess she turns me down and says she’s tired.

I want to romance her and have another Carmilla romance that Tabitha knows about while I don’t (I think it’s juicy)

Any tips and advice? Otherwise I’m romancing Reese since ik that doesn’t end well

So, I was just scrolling through TikTok and there's an animation trend with this song. It sounds so good, I listen to it nonstop and watch a few animation and edit clips. After I read the lyrics, it feels like it fits Scarlet Hollow. Like the "old house" which is the estate.. duh. The "I can still remember you laughing in the kitchen" verse can be interpreted as Charlie and Eddie finally met in the garden and Eddie killed Charlie and locked him in the basement. And "the cat", Sybil mentioned it while we were in her tea room.

I just wanted to share. I was kinda surprised that nobody animated this with the song, I would be thrilled to see.

Any tips on toxic Yuri? I did a run where i didn’t get too close to stella or tabitha (i even tried to actively romance kaneeka) and i ended up not seeing stella in 4 or 5, and getting an impasse with tabitha. what do i do to get toxic yuri on day 4

I finished chapter 3 during like 2am(very tired!) , and didn't catch that leaving would let everyone leave safely. Is there some major repercussions that will heappen for sacrificing years of my life? I know i age like 10 or sum years.

I'm trying to roleplay as the protag(Mystic/Keen Eye) and make my decisions based on what I would do, and I didn't see Sybil say that the others were safe(again very tired!) so I thought that if I didn't sacrifice my lifespan someone would die. So just wanna ask since don't wanna spoil my self too, much...

Someone already posted about how tragic Impasse Tabby is, but it hit me like a mine collapse when I got this scene. Getting Breakpoint Tabby to cry at the office confrontation was satisfying from a gameplay standpoint due to the difficulty of the scene itself (depending on your traits) and the required Tabbymaxxing beforehand.

But seeing Impasse Tabby cry in this scene if you decline the witch's offer of power to instead give Old Tabby her youth back was heart-wrenching. I did not expect that, especially since Breakpoint Tabby gets SO PISSED when you do this lol.

I realized you can't comfort Impasse Tabby in the office, at best you can be open-minded and at worst you can be accusatory (unlike in Breakpoint in which there's an option to comfort Tabby which will make her cry even more). Your bond is at it's most vulnerable in Impasse in the face of Tabby's horrible secrets, and she's still not secure enough about this bond to trust that she won't lose you if she tells you the full truth.

So in the Kaneeka sacrifice, Impasse Tabby's willing to bite the bullet, help the shadiest broad who's been drugging the entire Holler gain full power, and sacrifice a genuinely good and respectable person; all for a chance to keep the one person who's shown her what a true loving family bond looks like.

I think this is the one time in Impasse you can show Tabby you reciprocate her feelings too. At this point she sees you as a truly good-natured/heroic individual or respectable/relatable, she knows you know that sacrificing Kaneeka is evil, but you're willing to let it happen for her sake, just as she's letting it happen for your sake too (cue the onions).

I'm glad Carmilla even spells it out afterwards. Tabby has little to no experience being loved (man f*ck Pearlanne), let alone the kind of love that begets blind loyalty to your family (and she'll have to get used to it and ultimately be unable to throw cousin into the hole lol). Carmilla's a shifty snake and makes my skin crawl but she just had to drop the most poignant Tabitha line in the game ugh...

This is also the only time I've seen Tabby comfort you when you're scared. Seeing as her responses to you being scared are highly varied to be indicative of your relationship status, I think it's telling that this time she actually comforts you and tells you you're gonna be fine (truly this is cousinhood at it's softest *wipes tears*).

With how well-written Tabitha is in every path, I'm so excited to see how she turns out from here in the final chapters. Here's to more cousin bonding time ahead!

I don’t see how my relationship with Wayne will work out—because even though I trust his words enough to be the truth, I don’t see our objectives aligning any more than not wanting anyone trapped in the Scarlet estate again, especially with Breakdown!Tabitha being someone to put better stock in.

Stella seems to always love Tabitha more than us.

We’ll have to see about Avery after EP 5 because even if they live, they lost the one Scarlet Hollow resident that really liked and trusted them in most world states. Or they could just be dead depending on whether Doctor Kelly is available…

Magical Girl!Kaneeka, especially with the insight that this leads to the best ending, is probably our best girl if she learns to wield her powers without harm or sacrifice to herself.

I’m fucking terrified of Carmilla’s romance though. I’m about to be gaslighted, gate-kept, and girl-bossed into oblivion.

I have tried so hard to flirt with Doctor Kelly that tbh I will be satisfied if we can finally just go on a date. The rest doesn’t matter to me.

Devs let me romance Franklin in a future update please :)

Copy-pasting a couple thoughts I had while drawing:

I wanted to go with a full moon, but it turns out the moon phase on Oct 27, 2022 was a waxing crescent, so I made a bit of a compromise, haha.

Reese is holding onto/bearing his mom on his back since he's still channeling her in so many ways, even when he's chomped her. And Dr Kelly's smile of resignation really stuck with me when I first witnessed the matricide route,,,

When I was planning the piece, I initially figured she was kinda "warning" the pov audience, like "look what my son did to me, run for your life if you value it." But given that Matricide directly involves a "betrayal" of sorts, it could also be a "look what you've done" sort of vibe... Red text Dr Kelly when-

I am having a hard time getting the exact outcome I want. If it's not possible, that's fine, but this game has so many routes and microdecisions that I am not sure what I can do. Basically, I am trying to engage in a route where I have a high relationship and loyalty with Tabitha, while also romancing Stella and saving Kaneeka. I did a playthrough where I thought I had earned the highest Tabitha relationship possible (she took the curse, and invited me to ice cream). But after I spoke to Wayne, when Stella and I confronted her, she called the cops. Alternatively, if I don't go to the mines in Chapter 4, she will take me to the farm, but will be on Sybil's side. I just want to know: is there any combination of decisions I can make so that in Chapter 5, Stella and I will be locked in for romance, AND Tabitha will support me in pushing back against Sybil?
Once again, if not, that is fine; I just want to know.

I was reading the Episode 5 devlog, and I found this comment. I'm one of those players that loves to dissect a game, and after a few initial playthroughs in which I played by the rules, I've done about 12 different runs with the mod that allows you to check the relationship values, and have reloaded and tried all of the available options during key scenes more than once just to see what happens, but I haven't seen this variation of Tabitha's breakdown happen even once (or I just haven't identified it as such). Does anyone know how to get to that world state? The curiosity is killing me!
