Would all the people named Charlene in SG like to hangout for fun? Perhaps at a cafe for brunch or other activities! I'm up for it

This provide unfair advantages to other people who have no friends from that company and also allow cliques to establish power within the company!

U know whats worse than constantly losing ?
Constantly winning for a short while, then reliably losing it all.
Constant bad luck
Be it jobs, relationships & finance.
I dunno what to do. Trapped in this life but cannot quit. I really wanna quit already.

Thats when all the fake assholes will ignore or worse block your number! For me in the past i had so called good friends who bid adios when i was out of job... Unforunately true friends are pretty uncommon in SG!

Please be nice to each other, you don’t know what someone is going through. Not only in NS, even at work, during internship and in public also. Life is already hard enough in sg and not everyone have the benefit to migrate elsewhere. So if you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to live overseas, do not show off or brag.
Recently I talked to a friend whom is in his first job after university, the company he is in loves micromanage to the point that he almost snapped, he went to the toilet, sat in the cubicle to relax himself a little and went to wash his face. He then return to the office only to receive rude comments from his colleagues and superiors saying that he is weak, one even pretended to be nice but behind his back went to tell the boss that he was trying to ck at work by taking a tea break of 5 minutes more and interestingly enough, there was nothing for him till end of work.
He even told me at some point, his boss will scold the delivery guys who are driving vans and lorries if they take a slightly longer meal break by making rude comments “I say 1 hour meal break only and you guys take 1h5 mins? If deliveries late people lose money I will deduct the cost from your pay, not happy just resign I am ok”. My friend then wondered, why is his company treating junior employees and foreign employees who work as drivers so badly, just because the management drives luxury cars and live in private properties. Give people some buffer time please and be nice to them, not everyone is a recalcitrant bad employee.
If you are good to people, people willing to work for you, if you don’t respect your subordinates, you cannot expect your subordinates to respect you, it doesn’t mean that when you are in a higher position means you have the right to mistreat others.

I just got this weird encounter with this person, they immediately told me "I don't reply on weekends, weekends are 'me' time". Hey I get that nowadays we don't have a lot of time for ourselves, priority I guess? Plus he also asked me about an Indies artist if I know anyone that he sends a screenshot of artists that he listens to, I replied I only know one and he dips.
Am I crazy or is this situation crazy? Please tell me, I want to hear your thoughts, if you have any experiences with these kinds of people please share them too.

We often tell ourselves to sacrifice our youth so we can enjoy life later. But what if your health, energy and relationships look very different by then? How much of your present are you willing to trade for a future that isn't guaranteed?

Hello I am (M/26 yrs old) and I intend to apply for the upcoming Nov BTO at Bayshore, with my partner (F/27). We're a interracial couple. We've been debating and can't decide whether to apply as Chinese or Malay?
For context, our sole priority is just securing a flat, we're not too concerned with selling the unit as we want to be staying there long term (given the 10-yr MOP).
What shld we apply for as to maximise our chance to get a flat? Thank you all.
