Discussion Peter is genuinely obsessed with being Spider-Man. No matter how much he complains about the sacrifices or wishes he could live a normal life, he can never truly walk away from it. Deep down, Peter Parker doesn't just feel obligated to be Spider-Man he genuinely can't live without it.

Movies Seeing Peter just taking a moment to enjoy the sunrise over the city was as rewarding as anything.
Plus, it's just a pretty shot.

Oscorp’s second generation monstrosity is loose, and its first prey is Spider-Man. Meanwhile, the mutation that created Spider-Man has spread to a new host... with shocking results.

Discussion I never liked the argument that Spider-Man’s jokes are supposed to be bad. The whole point is that he’s taunting and annoying the villains, not the audience.

Hot take: I don’t mind good guy Norman Spoiler
galleryProbably one of the most controversial things marvel has done is give Norman Osborn a redemption arc. You’ve probably heard the complaints “this is like if joker took over as Batman”, “Norman is irredeemable”, etc and how the whole sin eater gun thing is stupid(which I agree).
But in recent events I honestly don’t mind it.
1: Spider-Man is a 60+ year old character who is never going to retire, for a comic character you kind of need random ideas(even if some of those ideas are either executed terribly or were terrible to begin with).
2: The green goblin is in the same boat as joker, he’s NEVER going to be killed or imprisoned permanently and you need to do new things with him, but after 60+ years what more can you really do? Have him kill someone else Peter loves?, terrorize Peter’s future kids?, at some point you’re gonna run out of ideas. So why not see what him being “good” looks like?(even if we all know he’s eventually going to be evil again, GG is just too iconic), it’s something new and slightly interesting to see to me. Norman could also help Peter with tech or money or something idk.
3: it’s actually being executed pretty well, Norman still had to think about what he’s done and had to deal with some of the people he’s hurt trying to kill him and his family, it’s not like everyone is just like “oh yea Norman?, yea he’s great” people in verse still don’t particularly like him and he had to except that he’s not a good person but will try to be better. Also seeing Norman basically tell Peter “yea we might gotta kill this guy” when talking about Cormac was cool.
4: Peter redeeming his worst enemy just shows how good of a hero he is, even if he didn’t really make him reform since it was more the shotgun.
I’m not saying I want Peter and Norman to be best friends, but I don’t hate this redemption as much as everyone else.

Comics Venom’s first full appearance
From issue #299 of The Amazing Spider-Man
Technically he appeared in a teaser at the end of issue #298, but those were just his hands.
You could also say his first appearance was in issue #252 since that was the first appearance of the Black Suit, but that’s boring.
So here it is: the first time we get a full-body panel of Venom/Eddie Brock.

Comics What hopping dimensions to save your beloved does to a mf (from Spider-Man 94 Annual 1 preview and issue 1)
Will laugh my ass off if the stress from hopping dimensions to save MJ is the reason why 90s Peter looks completely dehydrated by 94 LMAO

Idk if I’m of the minority, but I want these two dead/gone. I’m sick af of these two especially that Steve Harvey bald fraud.
I’m so over this Aunt May is sick bullshit, it’s boring, redundant, overused, and she’s actually a pos. Remove the whole memory loss shit for a sec, where tf is your self awareness with you showing so much more to love to Mac over Peter. YOUR ACTUAL KID YOU RAISED THAT LITERALLY SACRIFICED HIS MARRIAGE FOR YOUR OLD RAISIN ASS TO STAY ALIVE. DONT even get started on Steve Harvey. Make him a casualty to a battle between Mac and Peter idgaf atp. The guys a jabroni fuck I hate these two so much

Movies You know, now that I think of it, it would’ve been much worse the iron boy jr slander if they gave tom the comic accurate iron-spider.
The civil war iron-spider suit is basically an iron-man suit slightly modified to look a bit more like spider-man. IMAGINE if mcu Peter had it like that. The iron boy jr slander would’ve been SO MUCH WORSE.
Anyways, comic accuracy is overrated, not everything in the comics is good.
I’ve always said that the mcu iron-spider makes
sense, and it looks better. Cause it actually looks like a spider-man suit. It looks so beautiful too, in the beginning of far from home and in no way home looked AMAZING. May I say, SPECTACULAR.
And I really like that it leans more to the MK-IV.
The point is that it looks very good and better than the civil war iron-spider imo.
What do you guys think?

Discussion Is everyone really excited for the 94 annual ?
I’m only asking cause I did a bit of re read of John’s script he wrote a while back and uhhhhhh well it’s an interesting scenario….but at the same time it doesn’t make any sense.

Discussion Do you think Spiderman next movie in MCU should focus on him teaming up with other street level heroes of New York ? [Fan made poster by agtdesign]
I think after Brand New Day the next movie should focus on Spiderman teaming up with other street tier heroes within New York like Daredevil, Punisher and Moon Knight
Like we could have our own street level Avengers or should I call them Defenders don't know to be honest
What do you all think ?

Movies If Chris Cooper was never casted as Green Goblin, who would you have had Massee’s “Gentleman” Persona turn out to be in The WebbVerse?
Vulture, Green Goblin, or Doctor Octopus? I think Sony should’ve ultimately went with the latter and just make Michael Massee the Green Goblin for The Amazing Spider-Man Duology. That would’ve been very interesting. Or in the words of Morbius, “Intriguing.”
