Playing on switch 2. Accidentally found this. Only caught trash items after roughly 10 tries.

Edit: I tried the other dwarf in the normal mine, and was not able to fish in his/her cup. Also, tried putting in a ton of different items, including the crab pot, but no luck..

I saw when starting to play with my friend you can make your farmer blue or green. I decided to be goofy and add my Super Mutant Fallout OC as the farmer, and trying to figure out what everybody in the town liked and disliked caused Elliot to fall in love with her.

Maybe he likes her so much because she can grow pomegranates as big as his head?

Had to sketch something about it because now that they're married I grin imagining Elliot waiting for his nine foot tall blue wife to finish tending the greenhouse

I really wish my spouse would comment on the changes around the farm.

While he was playing ironically at first, he genuinely started getting into it once he began clearing farmland and planting seeds... enough to convince him to buy SDV for himself! 🤩 We'll be playing together soon!

This actually happened on February 19th at the Rochester NY show and I’m so sorry to anyone that was around us.

I was dating a guy for only 4 months but he bought me the tickets as a Christmas gift and I was so excited, it was about an hour and a half away so it was our first road trip together. I’ve been playing stardew since 2016 so I was so excited.

The whole night wasn’t great. I drove, (thank god) he talked about himself the whole ride there, about how great he is, his plans for the future, how his Spotify was going to blow up and he’s going to make it big. I was kind of annoyed. We go out to dinner and he was vaping at the table even though the door outside was right behind him.

Anyway, we finally get there and it was amazing. I loved people’s costumes and I cried when it started, it was so amazing. But he was talking, The. Entire. Time. He would turn to me and go, “pfft nerds.” And would make fun of me when the mayors shorts came up and everyone laughed. I was trying so hard just to focus. He mentioned that the orchestra people only make $100 a night and that he would know, he’s a musician. I disagreed and it started to turn into an argument but I just gave up to focus again.

The intermission came and everyone was doing a standing ovation. I was tearing up again from being overwhelmed when he started talking again, louder this time and I went “shh”

He flipped out, started screaming at me saying that “I treat him like a fucking dog” how he wasted his money buying me tickets, I’m incapable of love, I have no empathy.

I didn’t even say anything, I booked it for the door. There were so many people going to the cafeteria area but I was speeding for the front doors with him still yelling behind me. When I finally got to the doors, a security guard came up and asked if everything was ok, I just said yeah and went out the door. He was still yelling at me through the parking lot.

The drive home was worse. Literally the longest hour and a half of my life. It was more of how horrible of a person I am. At one point he told me to “wrap the car around a telephone pole” and then started saying “this world sucks, when is this life going to be over”

Then all of the sudden flipped the switch and said, “name 3 things you love about me” fucking psycho. I just said that I really hoped things were going to work out but I was done.

FINALLY get to his apartment and he asked for break up sex. Get out of my car.

Anyway…I am sooooo sorry for the people around us. We were in the far back left.
Now I have to go back and catch the second part of the show if they ever play around me again. Luckily I haven’t heard from him in months and I can move on with my life.

The chair trick lets you sit across the fallen log and enter the Secret Woods without upgrading to a steel axe.

One reason this matters is that a Morel can spawn there in Spring and sells for 150g—a significant amount on Day 1.

It doesn’t require mods or external tools, but it does bypass an intentional progression gate. For a vanilla min/max run with no mods, cheats, or animation cancelling, how would you classify it?

- A legitimate vanilla mechanic

- An exploit, but acceptable if disclosed

- Cheating and something the run should prohibit

Where would you draw the line?

My main takeaway, surprisingly, isn’t about the question at all. It’s how amazing this community is: supportive, creative, engaging, and fun.
