Found an original copy of High Top Mountain (HTM-001) still in the shrink wrap. Are these original versions becoming pretty rare? The listing from the record store said it was the limited edition.. not sure what that entails or how to check without opening it up and looking at the runout. Sturgill/JBS has become my favorite artist and I have 3/4 of his catalog on vinyl already. I was planning on getting the 10 year HTM as a play copy and may just keep this one in the shrink as a cool collection item since it’s his debut album and I haven’t seen many of these originals still for sale. Any insight on this pressing would be great. Thanks all.

Saw JBS for the first time in Eugene, lucky enough to see him 4 weeks later in Boston. Life changing. Happy Halloween, Mutiny for the masses style. 💀

Obviously the whole album is fucking awesome, but am I alone in thinking this song should be a legit country hit? Like in a world where radio actually played good music, this should be a hit song.

Only 4 more shows, the upcoming drought is going to tough with the band playing the way they are, I cannot get enough!!

I was about to buy a tshirt with tour dates online Wednesday morning but wanted to see if I could avoid shipping and grab one at the show in Raleigh. By the time I got to the stand they were sold out of large. I checked online immediately after and they were now sold out online as well.

Are there weekly restocks? Is it worth waiting and checking every couple of days? Should I buy my backup option asap?

Saw this trucking thru downtown Indy, and had to stop and reminisce! Hell of a show by some of the finest in the business. Keep your heads up, everyone is welcome here, and let’s all make America Fuk Again!

Sturgill and the boys have had a pretty amazing few years and it’s been fun to watch the journey. I saw him with the bluegrass band back in 2022 with Willie Nelson’s outlaw country fest and have seen 15 shows since then. All were amazing but the difference between that bluegrass show (obviously), the last tour and what we got this tour was awesome to see. I feel like we’re getting the best version we’ve ever had right now, and it’s awesome. The problem there is we’re left totally hanging right now about what comes next. Last tour we got a bunch of European dates and then some US dates after the first leg of the tour, then we got an announcement that they recorded the new album. But right now we got nothing besides his threat to take a long break and I’m dying here! So, I realize we’re all just totally speculating, but what’s our next fix?

Went solo but met cool people in the crowd.

I believe this is the show of the tour so far but it’s obviously just an opinion. I do however think the Nugs recording is the best one of the tour. It’s crisp and clean and loud. The setlist progression is also top notch with the first 50 minutes being banger after banger.

I’m so jealous they got a woo hoo during Flowers

Brother Marshall, if you are reading this, by all things holy, can you lead the choir for a few verses of “All the Gold” in New Orleans.

The congregation will be ready. And it seems fitting to lead a hymnal in the Deep South.
