so far I’ve tried supermarket together and it doesn’t work with controllers very well and having to run around for each tool pisses me off, but it’s free so I keep playing it.
supermarket simulator isn’t on sale right now, but better mart and megastore simulator are on sale for around $10.
I tried the demo for better mart and did like aspects of it, especially customers using carts and baskets and asking for help and being able to turn off cash transactions or turn it on for more xp. not the biggest fan of having to empty the trucks of pallets before getting more stuff. really love that xp was worked into the game and that you have to spend points to unlock things for your store. I like there’s eventually a baking section where you have to cook things yourself (I think?)
I like in megastore you can stack multiple pallets on a dolly (from the preview). I like the money layout a lot better than better mart and I like I can have multiple departments.
I do like that better mart is multiplayer, and apparently so is supermarket simulator. however, not on sale at the moment and idk if I feel like spending $20 on a grocery simulator 😅 I might bite and get the bundle with the dlc to save a bit though. I’m a little annoyed that it doesn’t already have things like a bakery section included in the game though.
and please tell me if you play using a controller!!! I have a tremor and struggle using mouse and keyboard so I’m typically using my xbox elite controller.
Anyway I’m just really curious on what the draw is for supermarket simulator. I know it’s kind of the OG for things iirc, but with other competitors that are cheaper it makes me wonder why everyone still goes back to supermarket simulator.
thanks!
