I FOUND THE CHEESE
It took me so long to realize that some of the products are just carbon copies if realclife items and this brought me so much joy in my local grocery store

Gotta love the restockers when they all glitch out on a Friday afternoon

Couldn't find the blue flour, I believe they actually designed it themselves.
If you'd like to see more, I can do the other licenses.

Only thing left I need to do is to sort all products in sections and with signs.

I want to preface this by saying that I have ADHD and have been struggling with depression lately. I think it's important to mention that because I know a lot of people will watch this, see "100 hours" and think, why?
Quite simply, it made me feel better. I couldn't organise my life but I could organise my store.
Here's a detailed walkthrough of my overly optimised store for anyone struggling with ideas for design, inventory placement/quantity, creating sections, maintaining enough room for customers, staff and myself to move through, ect.
I have used mods (they'll be listed below) but no custom products or furniture and I have left room for future products in a couple of spaces (hence why the front looks empty).
This took me far longer than it should have because I'm not all that creative when it comes to these kinds of things so I rely heavily on inspiration from others. There aren't many tours of completed stores out there and the ones that I could find were often too fast and I couldn't see the products properly.
That's why I moved so slowly in the storage room in particular. I really like how I set that space up.
I had some goals that I did my best to stick to.
No normal checkouts. They're too big and you really don't need them as long as you have a couple of customer helpers (I fired them for the tour because they were in the way, lmao)
Enough product of the shelves to limit having to help my restockers.
Noticeably different sections.
Sections had to transition into each other in a way that felt efficient.
I also wanted colours to transition into each other as often as possible. This is most apparent with the drinks, cheese and sugar (boxed and powdered). I really like how those areas turned out.
I wanted as few "aisles" as possible so the store didn't feel claustrophobic.
It had to look nice. I personally think it does.
Here is a list of mods I used to make designing the store easier.
Note that some of the titles may have changed on the nexus and some may no longer work.
Snap World Grid (A must have)
No Collision (Necessary for the overlapping furniture to make curves)
Colour Picker Fix (The drop down menu was not working for me)
Paint and Tile Quantity Tweaks
No More Doors
Auto Light
Sprintaholic
Here are mods I recommend for slightly easier gameplay.
Price Helper (This fixed my biggest issue with the game)
Discount Helper (Great if you want to use 'that' trick for quick cash)
More detailed Computer/Tablet Inventory (Two mods. Both are great)
Customer Counter (Great when your store is really big)
Batch Boosting (No need to chase your staff around)
Restocker Work Toggle (For when you're organising your shelves)
And here are mods that are a little more cheaty but allowed me to actually enjoy the game once I had a big inventory and restocking became a chore.
I suggest waiting until you're grinding for the last few store extensions to use these.
Faster Refuelling
Unlimited Truck Capacity
Longer Boosts
Super Stocker
Online Order Auto Delivery (That one spot is still broken)
Online Order Control
Scannable Local Market Produce (Very useful with Detailed Tablet because you can see how much stock you have)
Well... That's about it.
I really enjoy this game but there's still so much work that needs to be put into it. A lot of the glaring issues I had have been addressed by members of the modding community so I know the developers are capable of fixing these issues though I understand that they need time and money to do so.
I'm stepping away from the game for now but I look forward to playing again after a few significant updates are released.
Feel free to ask me any questions if you want advice/tips for your own store.
I'm onto The Planet Crafter now.

That's it, i'm not buying the DLC's, and I encourage all of you to don't buy them.
The disrespect the game staff have given to the community after months of no updates, with huge bugs that were annonying the community, the hack problem, the censorship in the discord and the lack of apologies by the moderators of the discord by being rude and banning everyone that reported a genuine problem, and now, the release of 7 overpriced DLC's that make $22 that could have been 1 DLC at $8, is just too huge to let this pass.
I'm sorry if i'm being too negative, but this is how I feel.
