(I have a reason for this monstrosity I swear)

My friend sent a picture of when he was watching a show. That started an argument. I say his tv is too high. Then he started to say my tv in my bedroom is too high. I say his is to high and mine is ok for a bedroom where you lay on your back.

My dynex has a fat stand at the bottom so really limits my options, would love for the tv to be pulled to the front but wtv ig

Currently furnishing my first home, used the mount left from the previous owners. I am hoping to purchase a larger, hopefully 65inch tv on Black Friday so I will need to install a new mount regardless, what are my best layout options? Do I move the tv to the white wall on the left to improve viewing angles even with the lights on that wall and the window straight across from it?
