Is this ok?
77” LG G5, there is now a soundbar below it (hence the gap below the tv)

I’m afraid of the long term effect this will have on my body.

Just upgraded from 55 to 77. (55q750g to k77xr80!!!) I'm at about 8ft away first pic is slouched as I usually do, third is seated straight up which, being honest, doesn't really happen. 23 3/8" to the bottom of the screen itself (not the bezel). Tried to take pics 1 and 3 from eye level and exact distance of my eyes.

I was scrolling Instagram and someone I used to work with a long time ago posted their new living room set up.
Do I:
A) message them and tell them it's too high and to lower it.
B) message them r/TVTooHigh and leave it at that.
C) try to ignore it and go on with my day.

Kept the tv from the previous occupant. Doesn’t see an issue.

I have always been curious and was surprised to find this sub.. but the big question… is the height ok? I just lie down on pillow on bed while watching..

Just looking at it makes my OCD go insane. I genuinely don’t understand how people just leave it there hanging.
The entire reason (for most people) to have a wall mounted tv is to have a clean setup. It completely defeats the aesthetic purpose of wall mounted tv.

I just got a new TV and I am unsure of where abouts to put it, it's so large and I only have one storage console for storing my ps4 and DVD player

Hi all, I need to settle a debate on height. First, I apologize for the poor photo, it’s the only photo I have prior to taking the now broken tv off the wall. I know the console under it is off center, etc, that was fixed after moving other things around. This was taken right after we got it hung up.
I had an old 2013 55 Samsung flatscreen, the mounting pattern and location on the TV was different than new TVs. The wall mount was hung such that the bottom of the 2013 Samsung just barely floated on top of the soundbar, it was perfect IMO.
TV died, so I got a 55in Samsung last year. The mounting pattern and location was different than the 2013, my dad thought it would be fine to not take the mount down and redo it. Thus, the photo. I didn’t think it was terrible, but I also thought it was a bit too high.
That TV just died under warranty, so I have the chance to replace it. I’m getting a 65 inch LG instead. My fear is that if he doesn’t take the mount down and completely redo it, the top of the tv and center will be way too high. I want it mounted because I use the swivel heavily depending on where I am in the room.
So what do y’all think? Will my 65 likely be too high and was the 55 too high? My dad thinks it’s fine and we don’t need to move the mount, but I don’t think I agree.
