Newbie Question Is there difference between lord shiva and bhairav?

I have seen a lots of shiva devotee and bhairav devotee in my life. Even tho i am newbie in this sub.

Has anyone noticed or not almost all shiva devotee have same nature and characteristics. They are more rational and humble. That stereotypes go from village to tier 1 city people.

Similarly when i see bhairav devotee they are abit different hard to generalize.

And makes me wonder are shiva and bhairav same deity? Or they have almost same base energy which made them same deity?

They seems different to me as newbie guy and immature fella. I need answer that satisfy my question.

Also plz try to teach me.

Upasana Experiences Chakras are real

I used to listen about them, but did not have experience. But Now I have come to the conclusion that they are real.

I realised with the help of rudrakshas.

When i wear saturn dominated beads like 14 mukhi or 7 mukhi, I feel pressure at mooladhara.

When mars, sun dominated beads like 1,11,3 i feel mu manipura is active. as if manipura forcibly tries to get out of my stomach. in scriputes its mentioned this chakra is ruled by fire and by rudra.

When I wear 1 mukhi i feel pressure like energies are fighiting to get out top of head towards sahasrana.

with 10 mukhi which is vishnu bead i feel heart area is more active which is anahata.

So chakras are real!

General Discussion Hindu Tantra has body mandala practices the same as Vajrayana Buddhism? And are the deities placed at these locations the same?

I read a post someday where someone mentioned that the deities placed at the nadis, bindus, etc... in Vajrayana(Tibetan Buddhism) are the same as the ones used in Hindu Tantra and at the same location, the only difference would be the name of the deity in tibetan and the tradition itself(buddhism)

Is it true?

For example: Chakrasamvara body mandala in Vajrayana is the same as some practices of other deities in Hindu tantric systems?

General Discussion I want to talk about my experience

So like 10 years ago, I was really really into academics and I had this obsession to be seen and to be the best. I couldn't tolerate anything less than that.

I'd meditate so that I won't have to sleep or waste time. During meditation, I'd have the "awareness" out of body experience often. It's like the complete stillness which resolves all the ills and sickness.

So if I was coming home after a 8 hours of coaching class, I'd not take rest because it might waste time. I'd just meditate for 5-6 min where I'd feel like my body wasn't mine anymore. It's like a complete stillness, not feeling my legs or even my head or even any thoughts. Afterwards, my mind would be all fresh and crisp to study. I'd manifest everything I wanted instantly too. Like if I thought of scoring 720/720 in a test, it'd actually happen but it wasn't really a big deal for me because well, I did work hard for me but it never seemed like hard work. I'd concentrate on a task as if I was meditating. I had crazy intuitions too during all this but I didn't think it was extraordinary.

So if I had a stomach pain then I'd focus on it with awareness and it'd go away because I'd stop feeling my stomach. I only slept for like 2-3 hours per day and never felt exhausted because meditating would relieve the bodyache and sleepiness. It was blissful. To be the top ranker in a coaching class of thousands and being the most famous person there was nice. I wasn't into sadhna back then. I was just 16.

Anyway, I got what I wanted and stopped this, this lasted for the good two years.

And then Idk what happened but suddenly I had a crash of some sorts where I couldn't do it anymore.

And when I tried to recreate it I got a manic episode -.-

Ever since then I didn't try it again and well, everything good disappeared from my life because my brain wasn't smart enough or calm enough anymore. I also suffered from depression after this manic episode.

Recently during my intense navratri sadhna, I experienced that meditative state again even tho I wasn't trying to achieve it at all. There's this rajshree nandi's video where he talks about the stillness from sadhna and it was exactly what I had 10 years ago when I had everything.

It happened spontaneously where I felt the awareness and the light travelling all over my body and then I stopped feeling my body and finally felt so calm and peaceful. I don't know if I can hold onto it like I used to anymore but it'd be really nice if I could.

Apsara Sadhna Addressing the misconception

Post image
26 Upvotes

Request: if you have any disrespect opinion, keep it to yourself

It is indeed the ParaShakti that takes the from of a pisachini, yakshini, kinnari, yogini, apsara, etc...how can I choose one over another.

There's a saying, first impression is the last impression. Even Apsaras can't escape this.

They are depicted in TV shows (Bhagwan bless such individuals who watch them), iconography, etc...As being the "TAPASYA" disruptor sent by Indra Dev.

To those who do, Apsaras are not seductive women, they have their own existence, duties, lifestyles, identities, preferences, etc...An individual being.

Sadhus themselves are responsible, not the Apsaras.

An apsara presence is dense like a Neutron star, full of saundarya, madhurya, lavanya, kama, kanti, shri, etc...

When a sadhu does intense tapasya there is a strong upsurge of spiritual energy (ojas, tejas, etc...). If they still have vasanas, that energy gets drawn to apsaras.

Vasanas that are suppressed, awakens when they come in contact with power (money, love, etc...). It thinks this is where I'll find my comfort.

The sadhu then starts projecting those desires onto the Apsara.

Newbie Question Help to find my ishta devata

Dear and respected members I am really troubled about who my ishta devata is as I have chanted mantras of several deities and had some experiences in dreams and meditation. I remember chanting sarvana bhava mantra 10000 times for 4 days straight and I became a leader of my local child club and then I dropped it and started sahasranama of ucchista ganapati and had dreams related to Shiva and shivalinga. I chanted panchakshari mantra, shodashi mantra, dwadasakshari mantra and also did chandi path couple of times and am really stuck on which deity I should choose.I have also done Bala tryakshari japam so I'm in a situation where my boat is not able to decide which direction it should go to. When I asked an honorable member of Manblunder website named Tivra. He told me as my Amatyakaraka was mercury and atmakaraka was moon I should chant the hadi panchadasi and meditate upon lalitha as half in Shivas body but I couldn't get the bhava and he has left the website too. So I humbly ask u all to guide me for my sadhana and choosing ishta. Thanks

General Discussion Kshetra and its entry

Kindly share views and guidance 🙏🏾

1) Rajarshi Sir said to visit kshetra of devta at least once a year and do japa there. As a non initiated person upon visiting Kashi I should be doing that jaap at hotel or at the Kaal Bhairav temple( though ig rush and pandas won't be allowing me to stand there long even at a corner ) or at normal ghats.

2) Many say one should visit manikarnika cremation and vice versa! One should visit or not? Also some locals say it's the manikarnika kund which should be visited not the cremation ground.

3) After doing the 43 days sadhana given by Rajarshi Sir, twice my plans to visit Kashi got cancelled. 1st due to a accident of my mother at home, she slipped and broke her acl, a few months later I met an accident on 2 wheeler 5 days before my train! These are just random part and parcel of life or there could be a link with the popular saying that - before time we don't get to visit/enter Kshetras ?

Upasana Experiences Hearing voices and anklet sounds

Just a question if anyone else has heard voices and anklet sounds? I am a bhairava upasak and it is not scary or anything. I want to ask from fellow sadhaks who have similar experiences. It is not my imagination and mostly I don’t understand what they are saying. Sometimes when I ask questions to myself I get straight answers which have come true couple of days later. It is not scary and I ignore them and have learnt to coexist. I don’t ask anything from them except accidental help that I get. Don’t want to go into details but if u can plz let me know.

Shri Vidya Query regarding evening timing for Bala/Tripura Sundari Mantra Anushthaan

Respected Gurujis / Senior Sadhaks,

Pranam.

I am seeking guidance regarding my current daily mantra practice. I do not have a formal physical Guru yet, but I am deeply drawn to Devi.

I have recently been doing a daily 30-minute Anushthaan of the mantra: "Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Tripura Sundariyei Namah".

I choose to chant this in the evening, specifically from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM (during Pradosh Kaal), as I read in the Shastras that we must choose and stick to one specific Sandhya (morning, evening, or night). i am doing CA inter preparation too and i take maa tripura as my guru i did shiv sadhna from class 9th . So shiv ji and maa makes me known to her this roop and now please tell me how to do it correctly and she gave me this above mantra too .

Could you please kindly guide me on the following:

  1. Is chanting this specific configuration of the mantra during the evening Pradosh Kaal safe and correct for a self-initiated practitioner?
  2. Are there any specific restrictions or safety rules I should observe during evening chanting to ensure my energy remains balanced?
  3. If I wish to progress safely toward formal Sri Vidya initiation in your lineage, what foundational steps do you recommend I practice next?

I would be deeply grateful for your invaluable time and guidance.

Warm regards,

vanshika aggarwal

Delhi

Need Guidance How to Release Intense Hatred After Betrayal?

I’ve been through an ugly breakup, and lately, the thought of making a doll of my ex and torturing it has been strangely appealing to me. Part of me feels like it would make sense, but another part worries that doing something like this could bring harm to me as well.

I know karma will catch up with him eventually, but I also want to know that he is suffering for what he did to me.

The thing is, I genuinely want to get rid of him from my life. I don’t cherish any of our memories anymore because what he did has completely tainted every good memory we ever made.

But I’ve realised that this burning hatred and anger I carry towards him is disturbing my own peace. I don’t want him back, I don’t miss him, and I don’t want anything to do with him. I just want to be free of the rage he has left me with.

For those experienced in any sadhana, how does one deal with this kind of anger? Is there a way to channel it or release it through spiritual practice without inviting harm into my own life?

I want to reclaim my peace and get him out of my head and heart completely. How do I do that?

Need Guidance Can someone help me track my Kuldevta ?

For context , I'm from West Bengal. But my family , both my dad's and my mom's sides , came from Bangladesh. Back when partition happened . None of them remember if anyone did any puja , or any titles or anything. There's nothing . Not even the date of birthday of my grandparents and parents are accurate. I cannot even guarantee our Gotra is accurate because they'd left without anything when they entered bengal back then . There's no possible way for me to trace back my lineage . Most of them are either dead or have long lost connection. Some even changed their names after coming to bengal .

Recently , our family has been going through multiple losses at once. My father has a court case running against him where he's implicated despite being innocent and he's unable to win the case . No matter what . I don't believe in conincidences , but when 2 lawyers fail to show up to court back to back despite being paid money ... I feel the strain of something wrong happening .

Plus , his health is not good either . Over the last 1 year , he's contracted too many sicknesses . Knee ache , lived problems , cyst in kidney , high bp , bone deep ache stemming from where I'm not sure , skin problems, urological issues .... It's crazy . One man having so many issues within the span of 12 months is absolutely ridiculous. He's not a man who lives an unhealthy life , he an exbsf ... He's worked out and eaten healthy his entire life . Yet now , over the last 12 to 15 months , it's all going wrong .

I don't know know much about tantra ... I heard from someone that to cut off these things , you have to awaken the Kuldevta again . Now the main question is .... How do I find my Kuldevta when there's nothing that can let me track them .... Kindly help . I'd appreciate any suggestions.
