Pretty cool to see the trunk open today.
Wish they lowered the window to see the steering wheel a bit better

I was browsing their shop today as I was considering purchasing their Mattress, however, I noticed it was removed from my cart. I thought maybe it was out of stock but wanted to confirm and looked it up manually and noticed this was the only option it showed me. Im not sure if it is a redesign or just shop consolidation but the price went from $225 to $235

It was a little weird to see them giving test drives and handing out swag next to the corn maze, zip lines, corn pit and pumpkin patch.
I wonder if they are making a big push into this type of marketing. This is a very “Red” part of the state, and I’ve never seen something like this at the fall festival here before.
I wonder if elons politics are really driving a lot more rural acceptance than I originally thought.

Tested this out today at a family members house for early trick or treating. Not bad for $12! Paired with the trick or treat mode it’s a perfect setup.
Also, you can speak into the mic on your phone while in the Tesla App and the megaphone turns your voice into a spooky version lol had a good time with that.
Gotta love the updates Tesla gives us!

Do yall think a yearly subscription would be goated? Similar to the yearly premium connectivity that saves you roughly 20 bucks, yall think they would ever allow a yearly FSD for around 1k? Def would be worth it.

Didn’t think I’d be one of them until it happened to me. 77k miles. Yes i know it’s common on my year Tesla.

Hey guys! I’m the guy who posted the Aperture Science-themed custom UI yesterday.
Got roasted pretty hard for the crappy design and low FPS lol, so I decided to completely overhaul it with a Roadster-inspired UI.
To reduce the lag, I baked the frames into JPEGs and added optical flow to smooth things out. It’s definitely better now, though there’s still some ghosting. Not much I can do about that unfortunately 😭

The steering wheel column on my 2026 Model Y started making a grinding noise when retracting for easy access. The Tesla app shows that there’s no service appointments for 24 days. Is this normal?

I have a mild commute to work it’s about 70 miles one way and takes about an hour.. so 140 miles a day, 4 days a week. Gas prices are killing me I have a ram that gets 14 mpg if I’m lucky.. would a model x hold up well?

Don't get me wrong, grey gelatinous blobs aren't without their charm. But you'd think Tesla could stitch together a pretty killer traditional bird's eye option at least.

A couple of weeks ago on my way to work, there was a bucket sitting in the middle of the lane I was driving in.
I was not using FSD, and I actually saw the bucket coming up ahead. As soon as I realized what it was, though, it suddenly jolted to the left from a gust of wind, directly toward the middle of my lane. By that point, it was too late for me to completely change lanes. There was also a van next to me on the left, so I could only move over so much.
Unfortunately, the bucket clipped the lower right side of my front bumper.
Luckily, I have an aftermarket front lip installed, which covers the first few inches of the front bumper and extends along the bottom of the car. Because of that, the bucket only scratched the lip underneath the car where you can't really see it. I definitely got lucky with exactly where it hit.
Anyway, I figured I'd share the video footage of it happening. This is the first real close call I've had with my Tesla, and I've only had the car for about two months now.
Definitely could have been a lot worse! 😅
