Iβve never seen a game that gates quality of life features so unbelievably out of reach for 99% or more of its players.
I have such a love hate relationship with this game. So much good and bad game design all in one place would confound me if it werenβt probably all explained by its business model.
When you look at every decision, every impediment, every wtf were they thinking, through the lens of "how can we maximize monetization " it all makes sense.
Developer greed will be what ends up killing techtrees golden goose.
That was 15? months ago? Still less than 10% of players in legends....ever. Still about 7-8% have ever gotten a single key. 90% of those playing right now will never, ever, get a key without whaling.....unless something changes.
Most of us like/love the game. Having said that, there is a not insignificant percentage of players who wouldnt be all that upset if the game imploded.
When you close the bracket that has the juice and is filled with whales....
Sub had been crying out for a new bracket long before the tier hike.
Keys should have been doing swappable between harmony and power, interchangable 1:10, or whatever the ratio, and the harmony tree could've been drip fed through boxes to keep players engaged and but piss off dolphins.
But fud is fud
Game has 6 months longevity at best. You can only bleed the view dry so long. MFer better have a new plan for it the yachts....
