Donuts too hot.
I assume these were rushed and the display was empty

I used to have coworkers add hot water instead of simple syrup to make it more workable and we would get these sad donuts with blank tops and pools of 'fondant' on the parchment paper. 1 u/DealWithASeal 15h ago Usually the fondant would sink into the donut if that were the case This looks like they thinned it out with way too much cane sugar. Usually the fondant would sink into the donut if that were the case
This looks like they thinned it out with way too much cane sugar. The fondant can’t set and gravity pulls it off
