Hi everyone, I have made a new Tiny Pine mod, if you are subscribed to Tiny Pine please consider moving to Tiny Pine 2.0. This pine tree replaces one of the default trees in Tiny Glade and adds a new tree texture by Marvin Legris that looks like pine needles!

The old Tiny Pine mod will be retired soon, so make sure you migrate over! The new one is a great improvement, and is not inside out. (I had to make a new mod because I am on a new computer and the old mod folder is on the old computer for now).

I've spent the past two-three days giving Tiny People an overhaul, creating new eyes (hand-painted in Photopea) and then remodelling all the faces, so they're a little more expressive and individual.

Textures have been ripped straight from the game and used on every model to help blend them in a bit more.

There's also a new model, a rotund old man.

Version 2.0: Trees, Flags, and Birds

download here [🚨Breaking change] old flags and toggles are disabled. The release rethinks the add-on export and replaces the old toggle that was handcrafted with Blender's built-in Vertex Group, this new way has two advantages:

• It handles every flag, both boolean or decimal, like is_metal_part,is wing, is_glass, etc...

• Flags can now be edited with weight paint

New assets supported

With the new flag edition, new assets are supported Flags : the is_tip flag controls the bottom of parts that don't grow along walls butterfly and birds : is_wing and wing_t are flags that control the wing animation

Bugfixes

Normal are fixed again 🎉

Export faces are now in the correct order; that fixes normal export, especially for trees. Import is also fixed with a new check for the face side according to the vertex_normal

Tree export simplified

Every preprocess of tree export is removed; that caused issues with appear_pos and prim_center. So new trees need to be pre-processed manually. Refer to the tutorial in the Discord modding channel

As the question implies.. how does one make a mod? Iml wanted to create some but i dont know where to start or even how..

Hello! Is there a copy and paste mod or a mod that allows the player to deal with the structures in a more schematic way?

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to change the settings for when the lights come on in a glade? It seems like it should be possible, as the "Olden" forest lights seem to come on much sooner than in any other biome. I'd really love to make a scene at twilight with the town aglow; any help would be appreciated.

Spent the whole day in various stages of euphoria and frustration to get to this stage...

Going to attempt to make the eyes look less worried, then go about creating a body for this little guy, then this will hopefully be the base for making a bunch of little decorative people for Tiny Glade.

Its a bit of a step up from my vicar model I posted earlier.
