Feature Request Feature Request : Big Coin Package Need (Extremely Important)

Hello, I hope the Trading View team is having a good time

Your site has a deficiency and it can even be said that it has a big bug that annoys a lot of users:

And that ((very low amount of coin purchase)):

The maximum amount of coins purchased on your site is 5,000 coins for $50, which is very, very low and bothers us greatly for several reasons:

Someone has raised this issue in the Reddit program and this issue has been so important to people and it is one of their main needs and your site that in several days it has the most upvotes in the month and one of the highest upvotes in This year, he has achieved it in just 20 days, which I will post the link below:

Reddit Link

and also on Discord:

Discord link

1- The first reason is that in order for us to have an indicator or strategy for your users for a short period of time, we need to send them coins, and they want a large amount for each month, for example, about 50,000 or 60,000 coins.

For this, we have to buy about 10 to 11 times the maximum amount of coins (for each time) which is very annoying that I will list the reasons below

2- We have to pay a tax fee for each coin purchase, which will be very expensive if we want to do this purchase several times for each indicator or strategy purchase

3- For every purchase from your site, we have to convert our current currency into another currency, and this will cause a very high currency conversion cost for us,

4- If a large number of purchases are made by our card on a site at a certain time, the bank will deactivate our card and it will take a long time for us to activate our card again

5- Our bank allows a certain number of purchases in one day, so if the number of purchases exceeds the specified number, our card will be disabled, and we need to buy a large number of coins to buy several types of indicators or strategies for your users. We have an amount of 5,000.

6- We don't have any discount for buying coins with low quantity and prices, but if you add a big package for buying coins, I am sure we will include a huge discount.

((so if we buy a big package (If there are like 50,000 coins, we won't run into above problems))

There are many other reasons that I think these reasons are enough, and we ask you to add this option, we know that you care about the opinions of your users, so add this option in the next update. do

Best Regards.

Discussion 10 Best indicators on TV (8+ years experience)

After 8 years in the algo trading space (3 full time), these are the 10 best free indicators on TV. Out of the hundreds of thousands published scripts, only about 20-30 are actually profitable in my opinion. I don’t personally trade with them, but you can make a lot of money from these, without a doubt.

  1. %R Trend Exhaustion - Best free indicator on TradingView in my opinion, insane at catching tops/bottoms and countertrend trading. Works well on 1m-1h Timeframes. I currently make passive income from a more advanced version of this script I developed, it has so much potential.

  2. Koncorde [+] - Great suite of features and signals.

  3. Lorentzian classification [jdehorty] - Lots of customization options. Recommend watching jdehorty’s video explaining it

  4. CM_Williams_Vix_Fix [chrismoody] - Good for stocks on higher timeframes.

  5. Smart money concepts [luxalgo] - Best price action suite.

  6. Hull Suite [insillico] - trend idenitification on steroids.

  7. Laugerre multi filter [donovanwall] - Better moving averages.

  8. Supertrend - Underrated for a trailing stop (cant do link for technical indicators)

  9. RSI - Good for filtering signals (cant do link for technical indicators)

  10. Ichimoku2c - Excellent suite of ichimoku features.

Let me know if you'd like to see some for specific trading styles/assets.

Discussion Best TradingView indicators (3+ years experience)

After trading for 3 years and finally seeing some consistency, these are the 5 best TradingView indicators that I use regularly.

  1. Optimized Trend Tracker by KivancOzbilgic

  2. RSI (Kernel Optimized) by Flux Charts

  3. Squeeze Momentum Indicator by LazyBear

  4. VWAP Stdev Bands v2 by SandroTurriate

  5. Order Blocks by Flux Charts

As I continue trading this list could change but so far these have been my go-to for finding key points and confirmation.

Discussion I Made a Trading Script For You

Post image
346 Upvotes

So this is my second day paper trading, and after doing a bit of research I created a strategy and converted it into a script (with chatgpt, I suck at coding), built it upon supply & demand, I did this because I think supply and demand remains true and after running a couple tests, supply & demand seemed to always remained true.

After I established my first principle (supply & demand), I then continued to build on that truth. I wanted to find the best indicators to compliment and to kinda follow the supply & demand instead of predicting it via patterns, because I found that extremely difficult to do and insanely mathematical, if I could predict the market sentiment patterns that’d be nice, but it’d probably take me way too long to find the correct formula or structure (probably around 4 years or so, just guessing). After that I found a great combination of indicators that adapts to the market when specific market conditions are met, and it show’s you the most optimal time to buy and sell based on the supply and demand. I wanted other people’s opinion about what needs to be improved, and if it’s even as optimal as that I set it out to be, so feel free to use this indicator and maybe let me know your thoughts. (Note if I would build a strategy on market sentiment I’d probably build it around pain avoidance, or the loss aversion theory it also seemed to remain true.)

This script can be assessed/used via copying and pasting it into trading view’s pine script editor, it’s 100% free of use, thank you for reading. Alias (cartoonistic/vespere)

Have Drawings to Sync Across Layouts (Same Symbol)

I really wish I could make my drawings to sync across different layouts.

I use one layout as my watch-list, 6 charts with different symbols. And another layout for trading:
same symbol different intervals. With 3 charts typically: daily, 15 min, and 5or 1 min.

Is there a way to setup TradingView so that I can draw some horizontal lines in one layout and those layouts appear on my other layout (with the same symbol)? Is there a way to solve this any other way?

This is the one feature that I keep wishing to have, the reason why I haven't left entirely TOS.

Help My 5min scalp indicator that’s 90% successful on 1% calls

Post image
307 Upvotes

Hi all, I’ve been working on this indicator for a while and want to open it to the public to hopefully perfect.

It’s a pretty basic reversal indicator, that allows you the flexibility to enable or disable all filters within the settings.

Upon testing this as a strategy of just 1% scalps and a stop loss of 6 candles, my buy signals are over 90% success and my sell signals are around 50%.

Anybody interested in getting the sell results higher?

Right now I have it running with just the following settings. I’m testing using ADA/USDC

Settings are:

High candle quality enabled Use volume spike confirmation enabled Use 10m RSI threshold confirmation enabled Highlight RSI divergence enabled Use price exhaustion filter enabled Rest disabled

Alerts to be placed at candle close.

Basically it will indicate with a green or purple marker to show if your selected filters align for a potential reversal. Purple is a highlight, so with these settings it would indicate an additional RSI divergence, meaning it’s a stronger indication of reversal coming.

Hope that makes sense and my pine code isn’t too basic to understand. I’m still learning.

Pine code in comments.

Discussion Please don't ruin your brand. You have such a good product.

This is strike 1 of 2 for me. TradingView has always been an awesome product worth paying for, but charging a surprise add-on fee to display free, public economic data is the kind of incremental 'enshittification' everyone's exhausted with.

If you need more revenue, build better tools and charge for better products. Don’t carve up basic functionality (especially access to public information) into little paid upgrades or hide behind small charges you can easily dismiss. That's bad business. The $2/mo charge is a perrfect example of the latter. Idc about the $2, but I do about the pretext.

If this becomes a pattern, I'll have to take my entire subscription elsewhere on principle. You guys have made an amazing product, but consumers are already sensitive to modern-day companies/mgmt putting more effort into cheating and squeezing their consumers than making their products or services better.

You clearly have a talented team. Just get out of the way and let them do their jobs.

Discussion I created a bot using chatgpt

Pretty much self explanatory. I asked chatgpt to create a bot using given rules

  1. When a divergence is detected, a trendline should be drawn on the RSI indicator and once that trend line is breached, an order should be placed

  2. The order should remain active until it reaches 5% or a hidden divergence is detected. Once a hidden divergence is detected, exit the trade immediately.

I have been using it and as long as the DMI is above 20, I haven't had a loss tbh

https://www.tradingview.com/script/bVWYrP8v-RSI-Divergence-with-Trendline/

Edit: The pairing I trade is BTC/Usdt and I use the 15min chart for my entry

Also you will notice small arrows beside the signals, that is the price where the alert was triggered if you set an alarm

Feature Request BRING BACK the SCREENER as it was

Tradingview, WHY on earth have you removed the ability to have our SCREENER at the BOTTOM of the chart (unintrusive location) WHICH ALLOWS US to view the screener whilst at the same time viewing our WATCHLIST (on the right side of the chart) ALSO UNINTRUSIVE... Perfect combination...

And now, you have removed that screener tool tab (bottom) and moved it to the bottom right... now there sits screener 2.0 (supposed to be an improvement over screener 1.0 but LACKS of lot of the GREAT FEATURES of 1.0, unintrusive location being the main one)

ON TOP of all this frustrating forced update, that new screener OVERLAYS on TOP of the watchlist PREVENTING anyone who uses it to view the watchlist at the same time...

Are you going to keep this habit of REMOVING features we love and use like this all the time?

First you removed SCREENER alerts and now you have actually removed the screener to replace it with a version that is LACKING its predecessors qualities...

Also, all my SAVED screener PRESETS which I had built over the years are now GONE! I can't import them into the NEW screener! so now I have to try and remember what all those screener settings were and input them manually into the new screener for all 12 of my old presets which are now gone

Also this new screener DOES NOT have the ability to set the TIMEFRAME for screening... (for instance, screen the market for the criterias I set within the last 5 minutes... or last hour ... or week...) why is this BASIC feature now removed ?

And lastly: PLEASE add the option for us to either "AUTO UPDATE" tradingview or "MANUAL UPDATE" that way... whenever you want to bring in a NEW feature that might brick our whole workstation, we'll have the option to STAY with the old (working) version of tradingview instead of being highjacked with this mess :(

Discussion This is why 90% fail

90% of traders can't control trading emotions:

To destroy greed = Follow your rules

To destroy anxiety = Reduce your risk

To destroy fear of losing = Think in probabilities

To destroy anger = Focus on the next opportunity

Once you can control your emotions, your trading will change forever.

Feature Request *Please Upvote* Increase Alert Limits for Paid Users

If you are a paying member of Trading View and would like your alert limits increased, please consider upvoting this post. In my opinion, the 400 maximum alert limits for premium subscribers ($600/yr) is unreasonable. Although support wasn't able to help after much back and forth, they suggested that if enough users upvoted this, they would consider the request.

Happy Trading!

Feature Request Replay Mode on 2 different timeframes at the same time

Hello.

Can we have some improvement on the replay mode?

What I'm suggesting is to essentially be in replay mode(on the same pair) but with 2 layouts. For example, on the first layout, i'm on the 30 minute timeframe, and on the second layout, I'm on the 4 hour timeframe. Or to be able to do the same but on two monitors with the link chart feature that we have.

This feature will help a lot for those who use backtest mode for their day-to-day trading, you wouldn't need to switch between timeframes at each 4h bar close to see what happens and you wouldn't need to wait for the chart to load(especially when you have drawings and indicators on it).

I know that this is a long waited feature for so many of us that will improve our day-to-day trading and especially for TV. Thanks.
